Draco ran his hand up and down her arm slightly, breathing in the smell of her shampoo. It was so familiar and comforting. "Honestly I don't know. All I know is that no matter how much you hurt me I'll always hurt more without you than with you." Draco didn't know what possessed him to say that but as the words left his mouth he knew they were the truest he had ever spoken. He had never imagined when they had their wedding that this would happen. That it would all go wrong. Well you know what they say, third time's a charm.

Pansy turned into him, putting her hand on the other side of his neck and hiding her face under his chin. "I will never hurt you like that again, Draco." She risked a quick kiss to his jaw before she looked down again, her hand sliding down his chest and around his side. Ashley is too distracted to write more, because she's talking about how Narwhals protect the SS Innocence on skype right now. Yep.

Draco steamrolls the SS Innocence with The Shaginator. Draco smiled weakly as he felt her kiss his jaw. He tightened his arm around her shoulders and sighed. "I don't know what to do Pans. I want to forget but I can't" He stared at his wall and rested his chin on her head.

Dom should remember who Daddy and Mummy have in their heads. And behave.

*laughs. stops.* You are on the pill right Pans? *panics*

Pansy sighed. "I know. And I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I cannot even begin to explain to you how much I hate myself for it every day." She pulled her head away again and looked at him, her hand landing softly on his cheek and pulling his face toward her to look him in the eye. "I will make it up to you if it's the last thing I do, Draco. I swear."

Of course she is. Potion every day.

"I know." He reached up and rubbed his eyes. God he needed to get some real sleep but the thought of moving was too much for him. Leaning back he let his head sink into the mattress and pulled the sheet further around them. Dropping that arm down he pulled her closer.

"You should sleep." She let him pull her closer, loving the warmth of his body next to hers again, but she looked at him carefully, unsure just how to handle a situation like this, seeing as she's never had to do anything like it before. How does one act around your ex-husband who you're trying to fix things with? "I can come back tomorrow."

i don't even know why i'm posting this when i should be asleep but whatever

Draco looked down at her, not wanting to let her go but not wanting to move too fast. "Yeah. Or you can stay here tonight. In one of the guest rooms." As he clarified himself he wished he hadn't. That they could stay wrapped on the floor all night. Unfortunately that would be mighty uncomfortable and not exactly what they need.

Pansy nodded. "I'll be at the end of the hall." She kissed him softly on the cheek, her voice no more than a whisper, but she immediately slipped away from him and stood up slowly, heading for the door. She hadn't brought anything, and had taken all her things back to Hogwarts already, but she was sure one of the house elves could find her something to use for pajamas. She opened his door a bit wider and slipped out into the dark hallway, headed for one of the guest rooms not too far away.
