Fred followed Nikki out of the Three Broomsticks onto Main Street. "So what are we looking for on this wonderous quest of ours?" he asked.

[Nikki Orwell]

"I don't know! We need inspiration!" Nikki spread her arms, closed her eyes, and twirled in a circle. "Oh spirits of the earth, guide us on finding our quest!" She opened her eyes. "Any inspiration?"

[Fred Weasley - Inactive]

"Hmm." He turned around in a circle observing the various shop windows. "I suppose we could just talk and window shop," he said when he had finally turned all the way around to Nikki.

[Nikki Orwell]

"That sounds like an epic quest!" Nikki struck a heroic stance, one normally only seen in cheesy movies. "we shall triumph, though rain, snow, sleet and hail may try to stop us, though the windows may be dirty, though Gravity may try to trip me!" She clenched her fist and raised it tot he heavens. "WE SHALL PREVAIL!" Her voice echoed down the street.

[Fred Weasley - Inactive]

Fred laughed loudly. "I'll keep you safe from the gravity. I don't know about the precipitation or grime though. I suppose we'll just have to persevere!" he said, striking his own heroic pose.

[Nikki Orwell]

"For glory! For the glory of window shopping!" Nikki grabbed his hand. "Let's go!"

[Fred Weasley - Inactive]

Fred allowed himself to be pulled along, laughing. "So are we going to continue our game?... Or focus on our quest of window shopping?" he asked. "And does that count as my question?"

[Nikki Orwell]

"Game shmame." She mock glared at him. "Window shopping is deadly serious. Deadly serious. We must devote all our energy to the noble art of window shopping."

[Imma have to go soon. And by soon, I mean after I post a picture.]

[Fred Weasley - Inactive]

Fred laughed again then stopped himself with a fake cough. "Yes, yes. Very serious," he said though his expression showed how "serious" he thought it would be. "Which way first?" he asked.

[Nikki Orwell]

"We have to follow our hearts on this quest. We can't just arbitrarily decide which way to go!" Nikki looked at him, scandalized, before noticing a particularly gorgeous dress in a window down the street to their right. "We go right... I wanna see that dress! I mean... the compass in my heart tells me our quest will be fulfilled should we go to the right!"

[Nikki Orwell]

[I have to go to school now! Thank goodness for first period free, or I would have missed this. I'll be in a good mood all day because of Frikki!]

[Fred Weasley - Inactive]

"Of course, of course!" he nodded as she dragged him off. He made a face behind her.

[Okay. We can continue when I get home. Sorry for the shortness. > >]

[I'll post now, because I may not be on when you get back. I have an appointment at 4:45 EST, plus studying and such.]

Nikki skipped down the street, humming a jaunty tune. She spun around to look at Fred, whilst continuing to skip backwards. [Yes, it is possible to skip backwards, as I just tried to make sure it was.] "The key to window shopping is not to rush to the things that caught your eye. So, we avoid that dress like the plague." She peeked into a window, and giggled. She was in front of Zonko's. "Hey, wanna explain to me what each of these do? And I am sure you have a prank to tell me for each!" She added with a wink.

[Fred Weasley - Inactive]

Fred laughed. "I most certainly would," he said, "but I don't want to bore you with that. We'd be here for hours while I explained George and my elaborate exploits. Pranking is no sport for simpletons." He grinned at her.

[Nikki Orwell]

Nikki laughed. "Fine. Wait, are you calling me a simpletons?" She propped her hands on her hips.

[Fred Weasley - Inactive]

Fred's eyes widened. "Of course not! I'm sure you'd make an amazing prankster. You're no simpleton. Simpletons are conventional whereas you are obviously not," he said. He coughed to cover up something that sounded like, "Couductapingyourselftomegh."

[Nikki Orwell]

Nikki laughed. "I was worried. I couldn't ask you to prom if you thought I was a simpleton."

[Fred Weasley - Inactive]

"Prom?" he repeated questioningly tipping his head to the side just a bit. "When's that going on?" he asked.

[Nikki Orwell]

Nikki smiled playfully. "Prom? Did I say something about prom?"

[Fred Weasley - Inactive]

Fred made a face. "Did you? I know I didn't say anything about prom." He paused, "But now that you mention it" - he paused again to flash a smile - "I don't suppose you'd like to go with me. To prom... that is," he asked.

[Nikki Orwell]

Nikki pretneded to think about it. "Hmm... should I go to prom with my hilarious and handsome boyfriend?"

[Fred Weasley - Inactive]

Fred pretended to be worried. "Oh, I don't know. I mean, I don't know why you'd want to go with me. I only hope I'm unconventional enough."

[Nikki Orwell]

Nikki giggled, and kissed him lightly on the lips. "You are definitely unconventional enough." She whispered in his ear. "Otherwise, you would have run for the hills, screaming, because of my nuttiness." She pulled away. Smiling, she skipped to look at the next store.

[Fred Weasley - Inactive]

"If I ran for the hills it would only be with you," he said after he caught up to her and a grin spread over his face. "Speaking of the hills, they're calling us! It is the next level of our quest!" he exclaimed. And with that, he grabbed her hand and dragged her out to the hill just past the Shrieking Shack.
