"Sure, maybe it would help talking about it. The only other person I've talked to didn't quite help. I think she added to the anger," he says while thinking of Dee in the Bolar Den. "Well, to put it bluntly, I saw my girlfriend Luna having quite the good time with this Gideon fellow. When I walked past them, they were in the lake, his shirt off, her hands on his bare chest. It just...it really bothered me because she always jokes about doing things with Gideon. I do trust her...but the whole thing was really unsettling."

Polly's throat goes dry. "Gideon?" She whispers, silently hoping she'd heard wrong. "As in Gideon Prewett? Because 'e's my boyfriend. And 'e wouldn't do somezing like zat. At leest I don't zink 'e would."

[Rolf Scamander]

"Oh shit," he says quietly while turning to the pretty Ravenclaw. "I'm so sorry Polly," he says with sincerity. "But yes, Gideon Prewett. There err, there aren't many Gideon's around after all. Shit, I'm sorry," he sighs.

[Apolline Delacour - Inact]

Polly grits her teeth and looks down at the ground. "Well, isn't zis somezing..." Her lower lip quivers and she looks back up at Rolf, touching his shoulder gently. "I'm sorry about zis, Rolf. Eet must be reelly upsetting to you too."

"Yeah, for the past few days it really has been," he admits while looking out at the water. Finding it extremely easy to talk to Polly, her touch and words extremely comforting. "I took all her Gideon jokes with a laugh, but who knows. Maybe deep down she actually felt something. I just...I feel like there may be a some sort of deja vu experience. I mean, my relationship with her started out in much the same way, then she left her ex for me. Now, I don't know what to think. Have you talked to Gideon lately?" he asks.

Polly's hand stays on Rolf's shoulder, trying to be as comforting as possible. "I'm so sorry, Rolf." She looks out over the water then back towards the ground. "I've talked to 'im, yes, but 'e never mentioned anyzing about Luna. In fact, I don't zink 'e ever 'as mentioned 'er, around me at leeast."

"I really am sorry too Polly. After all, this is no way for you to find out about their...close friendship. He really should have mentioned something to you. Us guys can be rather ridiculous, can't we," he says, shaking his head and letting out a light chuckle. "We can be oblivious, rude, arrogant, and utterly absurd sometimes."

[Apolline Delacour - Inact]

Polly giggles lightly and nods. "Zat is true. But girls can be ze same way as well. I suppose I should talk to 'im about eet, sooner razzer zen later. Eet wouldn't be very comfortable, knowing about zis and not talking to 'im about eet."

[Rolf Scamander]

"Yes, I completely agree," he says with a sigh. "I've actually been avoiding Luna, which has been a bad move on my part. It just makes me even more angry to not talk about what's been bothering me. I just, I don't quite know how the conversation is going to go, which is why I think I'm stalling. I suppose I should find her and talk to her," he says with a sigh. "You really should talk to Gideon too. You need to get the truth on the table."

[Apolline Delacour - Inact]

Polly nods. "I will. And you should definitely talk to Luna as well. 'opefully zings can be worked out..." Polly has no idea how she'll handle talking to Gideon about this. She's never been in a relationship before so she's never had to deal with a situation like this. She'd need to think about it first.

[Rolf Scamander]

"Well I really hope things work out well for you Polly. If you need someone to talk to, feel free to find me. I'm going to try and find Luna now. Better to get everything out in the open I suppose," he says with a sigh. "Hopefully I'll get to talk to you real soon," he says.

[Apolline Delacour - Inact]

"I 'ope zings work out for you too, Rolf." Polly smiles. "And eef you need someone to talk to, you can always feel free to talk to me." She stands up, shaking out her legs. "I'll see you around, alright? I don't get to talk to many of our own 'ouse zat much. Eet's a shame, really. See you around." She gives him one last warm smile and walks off, heading back to the castle.

Polly's bored so she's sitting down here again. Her books are laying off to the side and she's watching a rubber duck float lightly in the water in front of her. Every time it gets a bit to far out, she does a quick summoning charm so it comes back. Why does she have a rubber duck? I have no excuse for that. It'll just make for interesting conversation when Viktor gets here. Haha. Oh, and now she's humming and singing this cute adorable little rubber ducky song that Amethyst heard.

Viktor goes straight for Polly because he's in love!

Viktor is walking along the shore when he hears a beautiful voice singing the most wonderful song he has ever heard. He walks up next to her and smiles. "That's quite the song you're singing. Haven't heard that von before, and I've heard a lot of duck songs so that's saying something," he said with happy grin. "I'm Viktor by the vay. Mind if I sit down?"

Polly stays quaffle-y for the next 50 years and appreciates the fact that Viktor's gone straight for her, but, alas, she cannot return his love because she's in love with Gideon.

Polly jumps slightly, startled when she hears a voice suddenly beside her. She looks up and her face goes quaffle-y - not just because this Viktor fellow is damn hot, but also because she was overheard singing a rather silly, childish song. It was one of her favorites and it was sort of embarrassing considering her age. "Oh, no, go right ahead, Viktor." She looks over at the water to see if the rubber duck had floated too far out again. Nope, it was still close enough. "I'm Polly, well, Apolline, but everyone just sort of calls me Polly now. I didn't theenk anyone was around..when I was singing. Eet's one of my favorites." she says quietly.

THEY ARE BOTH DATING ONE OF THE PREWETT TWINS! HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAH

"You have a lovely voice," he says kindly because Viktor is such a sweetheart. "The Rubber Ducky song has alvays been von of my favorites." He notices the rubber duck floating out in the lake and turns back to Polly. "Is that yours? It's nice. I have a collection of rubber ducks back in my dorm. Not many people know about it though. It's pretty big."

"Zank you." Polly is doomed to forever be stuck with turning quaffle-y at almost everything. She looks over and sees the rubber duck getting further away and summons it back to her hand. "Eet's mine, oui. I've 'ad 'im for a while, zough I 'ave no idea why I 'ave 'im out 'ere right now." she holds it out to Viktor so he can see it better. "You 'ave a big collection of zem? Zat's awesome; I've never met anyone 'oo collects zem."

Viktor admires the duck in Polly's hand, smiling as he thinks the duck suits her rather nicely. "That's a nice duck. I don't think I have any like that," he says casually even though he knows that he doesn't have one like that because he knows every single duck in his collection. Every single one. He just doesn't want to look like a freak in front of his new duck buddy. "I haven't met anyvon either. It's sort of unique, I guess. Vish I vould have thought to bring von of mine out by the lake. I usually keep them inside...In the baths."

Polly giggles. "Well, at leest now I know I'm not ze only one 'oo takes a rubber duck to ze bath sometimes. I'd love to see your collection sometime...eef zat's okay." she sets the duck back down on the surface of the water, watching it bob around. She has another one that looks just like this one and she makes a mental note to bring it along for the next time she sees Viktor. That way he can add it to his collection. Yep yep.

Viktor will die of happy when that happens. "Of course you can see them! I usually don't show them to many people, but I can tell you'd be the sort of person who vould appreciate them. I've been collecting them for a long time now. I have some pretty cool vons," he says with a nod, thinking of his epic duck collection. "I've only shown Sirius, my BFF, and Regulus...Back ve vere dating. They both agree that my ducks are awesome."

And then they're going to go sing duck songs together. It'll be a fun time. "I can't wait to see zem!" Polly smiles happily. "I remember Sirius. We've only met once zough, and 'e wasn't all zat 'appy at ze time. I've never met Regulus, but we don't 'ave to talk about 'im eef you don't want too." Polly doesn't really know about all that mess so she doesn't know how the krack breakup went.

"Regulus is..." That's all Viktor feels like saying about Regulus for now because that kid is just not worth the effort anymore. "Sirius is usually pretty awesome, though I vill admit he can get upset pretty easily though. But he's a really nice guy deep down. That's vy he's my BFF," he says happily. "Ve tell each other everything."
