Yeah the pink can change if needed. I just don't want my son to grow up thinking that there are exclusively girls colours and boys colours, you know. And Remus and the baby can discover Disney together....

Lily nodded in agreement. "Exactly, I totally agree. You know pink was originally the masculine color? Because it was derived from red, and blue was more subtle and calm like a woman's demeanor was supposed to be? I don't know when it changed, but culture associations like can can be fascinating." She pictured Hermione with Remus and their baby, watching Beauty and the Beast and couldn't help but smile at the idea.

[Because thats the only one I can think of fitting well off the top of my head.]

Hmm, that's interesting. It does make perfect sense, though, when you think about it. After all, red is a hot colour as opposed to blue as a cool colour... It would make for fascinating reading if anyone ever did track when and why it changed.

*Her tummy grumbles loudly again and she giggles*

[I have to go for about an hour or so. But yeah - Remikins and I were having a convo the other day about how Remus would react to Beauty and the Beast - we decided he'd probably cry, and the other Marauders would die laughing at him!

Dom walks down to the lake and sits herself against a tree. She feels herself sigh in relief at being able to relax her back. She digs through her bag and brings out the chomayo ham that she loves so much.

James walked up and sat next to her for no reason at all because I'm too lazy to come up with any kind of story for him to be out here right now. We'll say he was looking to get laid, then realized that Dom sitting right there might hinder that, so he decided to hang out with her. Also, she was like really pregnant which was confusing. "Um, hey Dom," he said, sitting down.

"I've been alright, and yeah, Nurse Joel thought it'd be best to speed it along," she answers. "It'll be easier to focus on school if I give it up for adoption or even ask my parents to watch him or her. The downside is that I've been a bit of a well...mess thanks to the rush of hormones. Moody, horny, and constantly effing hungry," she says. "I'm just ready for it to be all over."

"Oh, a little less than three weeks now," she answers. "We err, we need to discuss what we're going to do with it, after it's born," she says then places a hand on her stomach. "I don't know what would be best, keeping it or giving him or her up for adoption."

James leaned against the tree stiffly. "Do we have to keep it?" he wrinkled his nose. He was James Potter. James Potter didn't have children. Nosirreebob. James Potter was a no-strings-attached kind of person. "Just... get rid of the thing..." he muttered, too quiet for Dom to hear. "Um, I mean, did you really want to keep it?"

Dom glances at him and studies his expression after the two questions he asks. "No, we don't have to," she finds herself saying, then glancing down at her stomach. It was clear that he didn't want anything to do with the baby, and maybe giving it away would allow for it to have two loving parents, not just one. "I'll contact some adoption agencies."
