He smiles at Dom "I'm doing great. When is the little guy or girl gonna be here?" he looked at her belly and smiled some more.

[ugh - my mother in law was starting in on it before we were even engaged! *headdesk*]


*Hermione smiles at Dean and Dom - they're such a cute couple when they're not drinking and being fake knocked up by other people...*

*She laughs, patting her tummy.*

Not soon enough, actually. I miss my feet....

*She looks down at them as if to make sure they're still there*

He laughs. "Don't worry, they're still there! Do you know what it is yet? Have any names picked out?" He couldn't wait to babysit his first niece/nephew

Dom smiles at the adorable sheep with the orange tutu disappears with James. She sits quietly and listens to the conversation, because the real Dom is packing up her dorm and it's a complete bitch.

*She chuckles and hopes her son behaves when Dean babysits.*

Thanks - good to know. We don't really know what it is yet - depends which of us you ask because I say boy and Remus says girl. So we've sort of held off on thinking about names so far! [IC anyway lol - you shoulda seen Remikins and I spazzing over names on skype! ] I suppose now we'll wait til we meet him to see what name suits...

*She feels something thump against the hand still resting on her tummy and giggles.*

He's kicking again...

"Wow. That's amazing! Well I better go work on that essay." He smiles "I'll see you later!" He gives Dom a quick kiss on the cheek then heads back to the castle.

[My computer keeps crashing! GAH!]

[Molly Prewett]

[*stabs computer*]

"Bye Dean, see you later," she smiles as he leaves. She glances over at Mya. "Does the baby kick a lot?" she asks curiously. She tries to not think about how she had never even felt the fake baby kick. Damn prank.

*Hermione doesn't notice that Dom might be getting a little upset, unless of course Dom wants to talk about it, in which case she will become much more perceptive. She smiles.*

He does now... It's fun at first, but when he goes all night it gets a bit much! Do you.... do you want to feel?

"Sure," she says giving Mya a smile. She moves over and hesitantly places her hand on Mya's stomach. After waiting for a moment, she feels a little nudge under her hand. "Ooh!" she says softly, then feels her eyes water slightly. "That's amazing!"

[Molly Prewett]

*Hermione's broad grin falters when she notices Dom's watery eyes.*

Hey... are you ok?

"I...yeah," she says biting her lip and taking her hand away. "I mean, I'm sure you've heard of that stupid prank. It's...I kind of got used to the idea," she mumbles, although she's not aware that Mya doesn't know that Dom was also a victim of Tam's actions. Ohhhh Tam.

[Molly Prewett]

*Hermione's eyes widen as it all clunks together in her head - eating awesome combinations of food with Dom in the Common Room that one time should've been a dead giveaway, really. She leans over and hugs her as best she can around her bump.*

Oh I'm so sorry!

*She feels a stab of guilt which she knows is ridiculous. It's not her fault, what Tam did, just as it's not her fault she is pregnant (ok, ok, it's HALF her fault) while Dom is not... She sighs and shakes her head.*

I'm so, so sorry about all this. I still can't believe Tam did that. I didn't realize she'd done it to more people than just Dee. Her own sister!

"It's okay Mya, don't apologize for Tam's actions," she says while hugging Mya (who's technically her Aunt in the lameness that is canon) back as best as possible. "I just...want to know why. I mean, especially doing the stupid prank to Dee. It's just so wrong!" she sighs. "I haven't seen Tam anywhere though. Seems like she's hiding somewhere."

*Hermione, who is incredibly glad that we murdered canon because marrying a Lupin is WAY sexier than marrying Ron (sorry Ron!), gives Dom-who-would-be-her-niece's hands a squeeze.*

I know. I just can't help feel terrible over it all. If it happened to me...

*She shudders, barely about to think about what she would've done if it had all been a prank. She'd lost and gained so much when she'd fallen pregnant and to just erase that would have killed her.*

I don't know where Tam is. I found her last week and tried to talk to her, but she just didn't even care. It makes me sick just thinking about it!

"She didn't even care?!" she asks angrily. "My life took a turn for the worse with Dean and James, and poor Dee with the whole Sirius situation, and she didn't even care? Merlin, what the hell was she thinking? The whole thing was far from amusing."

*Hermione's eyes sparkle with tears, remembering the fight she and Tam had had over the whole mess.*

I know! I really do feel terrible for what you and Dee had to go through! I mean, it's not a fucking joke!

*That's right, Mya is so pissed she dropped the f-bomb.*

I mean, I lost some really good friends when I decided to keep the baby. Hell, I lost my bloody parents because of it! And she knew - she sat back and watched everything I went through, and still she thought it would be a laugh to put other people through it!?

*She takes a deep, calming breath.*

Sorry, I shouldn't talk about it - it gets me so angry still...

"It's okay Mya," she says, pulling her into a hug and hoping that Mya calms down, for stress over this isn't good for the cub. "It's horrible what happened, but let's just try and look forward from here. That's what I'm doing, trying to return to a state of normality as best as possible. Have you been up to anything else lately?" she asks, trying to steer the conversation away from something that would upset Mya. "Getting ready for the baby?"

*Hermione hugs back, grateful for the shift in topic, mostly because she can talk all day about baby crap. Well, talk until she needs to pee again.*

It's been all full-on lately! The nursery is all ready to go, we made the cutest little sheets for the crib the other day! I'll need a few essentials of course, but mostly I'm organized. I really can't believe how quickly it's going!

"That's great!" she beams, knowing that Mya is extremely organized and doesn't doubt that she has things figured out already. "What colour is the nursery?" she asks curiously, considering that rumour had it Remus and Mya didn't know the sex of the baby.

*Hermione shrugs and begins an internal freak-out over the fact that the nursery is not completely colour-coordinated.*

Well for the furniture we've gone with the natural colours of the wood for most things, except the changing table, which is cream until my next hissy fit over something trivial. We sort of kept things neutral, we can add a dash of colour later I guess. The sheets and things are all nice and bright - I want to keep some things around to stimulate the baby of course...

"That sounds lovely Mya," she says instantly with a smile. "I'm sure that it all looks great and it makes sense keeping things bright for the baby. Though, with you and Remus as parents, I'm sure this baby is going to be exceptionally bright and also very lucky."

Thanks. I think some people think otherwise, but I appreciate that. I do hope he takes after Remus more than I though...
