George looked up. What exactly was she offering? "Uh, I don't know, I just...I'm such a piece of shit, I don't deserve Angela. Shes better off without me."

"Oh?" Adrian drew her hand away. "So, do you want to talk about it or something? What happened?" She was awkward around miserable people when she wasn't herself.

"I just...I was under a spell, and I kissed somebody else and she saw it and I apologized and she pushed me and then I just ran. I deserve all the pain the world can give me."

"Pain? I can give you pain, if you want it." She pulled out her knife and rubbed the dull end of the blade down his arm where her hand had touched him earlier. "Physical pain is the best release of emotional pain." She leaned in toward his ear and whispered, "Trust me."

George looked at the knife, fascinated by the way it shone. "Why don't you show me, but lets go somewhere we won't be found." he said leading her to the room of requirement

Severus sits down and mopes, wondering if he should just move his stuff from his dormitory to here and make a little shack for himself. A sign floats over his head that says

*Runs in and sits down in corner crying* Why... does..everyone.. hate me!? He manages to gasp between breaths [hehe, i said i would come to the emo corner! xD]

BECAUSE REGULUS BELONGS HERE FOREVER.

Regulus skulks into the emo corner of d00m and curls up in the corner to be a proper emo kid. Eowyn magics mascara and smudged eyeliner on to him and hands him a Hawthorne Heights CD. He shoots up and I am to lazy to actual detail the process again so you can all deal.

CUE DJINN.

Djinn sat down next to Reg. He was too tired to do a big appearance, but his Platinum scape showed a tiny bit. "Hi there again. Your soul is more black." he sounded realy, really tired.

Regulus did not show any signs of excitement as he normally did at Djinn's appearance, but he wouldn't deny he was impossibly grateful to see his last real friend, other than Gellert, and perhaps Scorpius. "I don't care. Let it go black, let it die. Things have changed, Djinn."

[Gabriel Djinn Whiteraven]

"No. You don't want it black and you need to keep it." He held out a hand to Regulus. "Tell me what's wrong?" He scooted close to his friend and projected body warmth.

Regulus gladly takes his hand and squeezes it tightly. "Viktor's gone. He left me. Because of the cocaine. He found out. And now he's gone. And so is pretty much everyone else. Even Dee and Faye."

He put his other hand around Reg's. "I'm sorry. You need to stop using it, you need to get away from it...and whoever is giving it to you."

"Who, the dealer? Oh- you mean Gellert..." he said softly, his voice trailing off. "I can't do either of those things. They're about all I've got left. This- being high- it's the only time I ever feel good, and that's only some of the time. And Gellert- why should I? He's my only real friend. Everyone else deserted me, Djinn. He's the only one I can count on. He makes things better. He's the only one who still cares about me."

Djinn sighed tiredly. "How do you know for sure? How do you know he isn't using you?" he let go of Reg's hand and threw his arms around Reg's neck, sagging a bit cuz he was fading inside. "I don't want you to hurt. I wish you didn't." his eyes were wet with tears..,which was weird because gods can't cry.

Regulus winced, seeing the pain and tears in Djinn's eyes, and threw his arms around Djinn as well. "I'm sorry, Djinn. For letting you down. For letting Viktor down. For disappointing everyone. But he isn't using me, he can't be. I have to believe that, because if he is, then what have I got left? Nothing but the drugs, Djinn. I wish I could stop, for you. I wish I could let it go. But I can't, not for you, or anyone else. Love is not enough to keep me going anymore."

[Eowyn is listening to Love Is Not Enough on repeat now. -sigh-]

"I don't understand... and I-i'm not supposed to be able to cry...but you make me feel so sad." he squeezed more. He felt so empty inside now. "I think i've been struck down. Or will be soon so i don't know how much longer i can stay. Or if i can come back."

[i'm like crying here reading trent reznor interviews. i guessed as much as to what 'la mer' was about but now i can't listen to it without crying because i went through the same thing as he did.]

Regulus clung to him, resting his head on Djinn's shoulder. "You have to come back, Djinn. I don't know what's happening to me anymore. I don't know what I'll do if you don't come back. You have to find a way to come back, you have to," he said, looking scared.

"I'm so tired Reg...I've never been this tired." He shook his head. "And i'm trying to come back permanately. I'm better and smarter but Marid is all brute force...it's hard to be there and here at the same time. But i'm not leaving until i have too."

Regulus sighed and stroked Djinn's cheek. "You'll be okay, I know you will. You'll come back, Djinn. You will. I wish you'd never left," he said sadly.
