Hi I'm Caroline, I guess ya'll want to know a little something about me to make sure I'm not some sort of serial killer?
Well here you go:
I'm a 16 year old lesbian with an agreed upon future engagement and a tentative plan to get married to the love of my life (my girlfriend) in 2011-2015. I love Harry Potter, but can't stand canon pairings because ew. If you're on a forum with a lost-lotus I'm probably on that forum. I lives in the state of New York, I bellydance, go to school and eat (I don't do homework lol).

to get into RP you kinda just start where ever haha I suggest you go down to the lake to start, there are always people down there..you definitely don't have to worry about your character acting exactly how they would in the books...as stated before, canon is dead!

Getting started in the role play is just like making new friends - it's a bit hard at first but once you get into the swing of things, it's SO much fun!
Usually the best place to meet people is the lake - that gets quite busy. Also, in the 'OOC area to discuss RP' section, there is a thread where you can post if you are bored, and want to hang out in character (IC) with people.

You don't sound like a dumbass. If you're talking where it is on the site, it's Roleplay World 1.0, or something like that. If you're talking how to fit your character in, just walk around and introduce yourself. A couple other things that you should know-proper grammar is highly encouraged here, and there's a tab for usergroup at the top for houses and alligences (Order if the Pheonix or Death Eater). It's one of the things we try to keep canon, but Luna's a Gryff and a whole bunch of canon OotP people are in the DEs, so whatever you wanna do is cool.
