Dean gripped his wand tighter in case George pulled out his. The inner me just had dirty thoughts at that last sentence, but I am choosing to ignore that right now. He decides to play cocky. He gives a little bow "Surrender to me? Very well I accept." That didn't really make sense, but I like using Princess Bride references whenever I get the chance.

George pulled out a small box he'd had in his robes for almost a month. He indicated that he wanted Dean to catch it and tossed him...

Dean glares at the ring then back at George. He turns towards the lake and THROWS IT AS HARD AS HE CAN. He smiles as he watches Squidly swallow the little box, THERE WAS NO SUMMONING IT NOW!! "Albus is 100 times better than you are!"

Whatever George was expecting, it was NOT that. He pulled off his shirt, cast the bubblehead charm (incantation unknown) and jumped into the lake. Willing to take down the squid if he had to. A tear slid down his cheek. He swam deeper and cast protego on himself silently. He floated still for a moment, closing his eyes against the tears that threatened to flood his bubble. He looked, but couldn't find it. He screamed inside the bubble and held his wand. That was a mistake. The rage manifested itself in a ball of magic, which exploded in the lake, causing a HUGE tidal wave. George made his way out amidst the confusion and pull of the water. He canceled the charm when he got to land and lay there defeated.

Dean laughed loudly as George went into the water. It was the idiots fault for giving Dean the ring in the first place. He sits back in the grass and waits for George to resurface. Suddenly there seems to be an explosion of sorts coming from the lake. Dean jumps up and starts to run as he sees the tidal wave forming. Unfortunately he isn't fast enough and is swept up in the wave. He kicks furiously, trying to stay above water. He gets sunk under and starts to run out of breath. Finally the wave goes back down and Dean is revealed, gasping for air, on a low branch of the nearest tree...which is still rainbow colored. "What...the...fuck...was..that!!"

George screams as the rage and heartbreak fill him. He notices dean hanging from a tree and spells him down with his wand. Not in a particularly nice way. "WHAT. THE FUCK. WAS THAT?! Huh?!" he says walking over to him. He lets out a cry of rage then comes down and starts sobbing. "I'm such a fuck up." he mumbles to nobody in particular. "My best friend just threw an engagement ring to the giant squid, that I spent my ENTIRE LIFE SAVINGS ON for the girlfriend I LOVED but lost to stupidity. The same way I lost my best friend." he looked up as the man before him seemed entirely unfazed. "You know what? I'm sorry I bothered." he said turning his back and walking to someplace down the shore, far from Dean.

"UUFF" he let out as he was practically thrown from the tree. He really didn't feel bad about throwing the ring away. He had a feeling George would become rich someday... He stood up as George walked away from him and yelled after him. "Look, I know you must be going through some tough shit, but Angela is my best friend. I'm going to do anything I can to protect her. Especially from guys that don't know how to treat her right. I don't know what with wrong with you, because you USED to be that guy. I'm sorry, but you aren't anymore.."
