"Well, thanks Stan. We'll have to catch up really soon. I actually have to head off to class now, but it was great talking to you," he said while standing up. He grabbed an apple off of the table then headed off to class.

[Pansy Parkinson-Malfoy]

Pansy walked in, proudly holding onto Draco's hand as she did so, and headed over to their usual seats at the Slytherin table. She sat down, picking up a biscuit and searching for something to spread on it. She glanced around a second as she did so, spotting Astoria not so far off down the table, doing her best attempt at a menacing glare. Pansy just shot her a smirk, picking up the pot of honey.

Draco shot Pansy a look, "A biscuit is not dinner Pans." And so he picked up the bowl of potatoes and put some on her plate then put more on his own, "Special occasion food." Then he went for a bit of everything else on the table, giving her some small portions and then himself more larger portions.

Pansy sat her biscuit down and crossed her arms as he put the potatoes on her plate. She glared at him boredly as he put even more food on her plate. Still staring at him, even when he'd finished, Pansy didn't move. He knew she didn't exactly like it when he dictated what and how much she ate like a child though she did sort of like how it made her feel like he really cared for her and would always take care of her.

Draco was just cutting into his beef when he noticed her look. He put his fork down and stared right back at her, "You know I wouldn't do that if you put food on your own plate." He leaned over and kissed her on the cheek and whispered in her ear, "I do it because I care about you and you know it."

[Pansy Parkinson-Malfoy]

Pansy rolled her eyes at him, but she couldn't squash the smile that was spreading across her lips as she turned away toward her plate. "Fine." She obliged and ate a few potatoes, glancing out of the corner of her eye at him. It was strange that what had just happened was acceptable now, when she'd had to keep things secret for so long. When they weren't dating, she couldn't do things like that because she just couldn't, and then until right now, it was a secret from everyone anyway. But now there were new rules, and she liked it. Just because she could, she leaned over and kissed him on the cheek, grinning at him before she reached for the biscuit again.

Draco smiled as she kissed him on the cheek, this was nice, being able to show some affection in public. He watched her pick up the biscuit again, "And I hope you don't think that you can give me kisses and I won't notice you not eating." He moved his leg so it was pressed against hers and kept eating his own dinner, watching her carefully out of the corner of his eye.

"Well I can try, can't I?" She wiggled the biscuit around in front of his face before taking a bite of it ripping off a piece and eating it. "And what do you call that, if not eating?" She nudged her knee back against his playfully, and picked up her fork, spearing a few of the pieces of potatoes to eat.

[Draco Malfoy]

Draco shot her a mock glare over his forkful of green bean casserole which Tam made for dinner tonight and throughly enjoyed. "I call that nibbling. Eating implies the consumption of more than three crumbs in one sitting." He glanced at her plate, noticing nothing was vanishing aside from the potatoes but he decided not to mention it, it wouldn't do any good anyway.

Pansy shook her head at him. "There is no satisfying you, no matter what I do, is there?" She smirked and ate a bit of chicken, but went back to the potatoes soon afterward. Finally she opened the jar of honey and put some of it on the biscuit, eating that and trying not to let the honey drip off the back of it onto her fingers, because that was messy and we all know Pansy doesn't like messy food.

Draco chuckled and smiled as she ate at least a bit of chicken before returning to her potatoes and biscuit. It was something at least and he wasn't her mother, he wasn't going to make her eat vegetables. "You know all you need to do is eat all the food there and I'll be happy."

[Pansy Parkinson-Malfoy]

That's a curious use of the phrase eating her vegetables, because Pansy is in fact only eating her vegetables and not much else. "Oh but I also know that you'll probably put more there." She grinned at him and took another bite of chicken. "And besides, if I eat it all today, you'll expect me to do the same from now on, and that just completely ruins how I do things." Regardless, she is eating, because Draco is smiling and relaxed and actually genuinely happy and not worried, and she likes seeing him like that.

"Unfortunately for you most of that is indeed true but then again that only works when I manage to find you and drag you here for meals." Draco noticed she was getting low on chicken but managed to restrain himself from putting more on her plate. Instead he distracted himself with taking some more potatoes for himself and proceeding to eat them all rather quickly.

"Well maybe I'll eat all this and learn to hide from you better." She finished the chicken that was there, starting in on some of the carrots that she'd shoved off to the side earlier. She took a sip of juice, glancing over at Draco over the top of her cup, watching him carefully, looking at him as if she were very deep in thought.

Draco shook his head, "You wouldn't do that, you'd miss my charming company far too much." He smirked at her as she finished her chicken, feeling rather victorious then his expression changed into one of curiosity when she sat there staring at him, "What is it?" He couldn't help but wonder if he had food on his face or something.

[Pansy Parkinson-Malfoy]

"Nothing." She looked away from him, putting her cup down and grabbing her fork. She didn't eat though, mostly just pushed her food around. "Just thinking of good hiding places." Sure she was thinking of that, but her mind was going other places too. Mostly places she didn't particularly like for it to go. The future, the future with Draco, the future without Draco. She couldn't put into thoughts just how much she'd love to run away with him, tell her parents to suck it, that she wasn't marrying some suitor, that she was going to do what she wanted with who she wanted. But she knew she couldn't do that. She knew she wouldn't.

[Draco Malfoy]

"Oh really?" He looked at her, "So have you done anything interesting over the past few days at all? Any interesting new books you've dug up in the library?" He finished his plate and grabbed a couple of serving dishes, still hungry.

[Pansy Parkinson-Malfoy]

"Yeah, really." And now running through my mind is an epic game of hide and seek. For as many real problems as these two have, they really do bring out the eight year old in each other. Maybe that's a good thing, maybe that's what will let them make it through all the shit they're going to have to do. Poor kids. "Not really. I lead quite a boring life. Tragic, really." She flopped her head over onto his shoulder dramatically, but sat up again and took another bite with a shrug. "Just reading the same old stuff, practicing in the same old empty classrooms. You? Same as always?"

[Draco Malfoy]

Draco chuckled as she flopped over onto his shoulder, "So tragic. And pretty much the same as always, lots of quidditch and then working on that potion and a few others with Sluggie. I think he's starting to like me now at last. It's only taken him seven years." Draco rolled his eyes. I think an epic game of hide and seek would be epic. Posting in random threads all over the forum and disrupting things.

[Pansy Parkinson-Malfoy]

"Well, seven years sure, but you've finally become the teacher's pet, haven't you? Starting to like you is sort of an understatement, Draco. You can do no wrong in his class." She laughed and ate a little more, her plate getting pretty close to empty by now. Shocker. And yes, an epic game of hide and seek would be quite fun. I think it's in order now, and totally needs to happen soon. Pansy is a good hider, so we'll see if Draco can figure out her hiding places. I guess we'll see just how well he can track down his Pansy.

Track down sounds much better than find. Yes it does. And that should happen soon. "Yes but finally he's acknowledging it instead of favouring his little mudbloods." Draco smirked, feeling rather smug. The smugness was added to when he noticed how empty her plate was getting. He watched carefully, not mentioning yet just in case she stopped eating to prove a point.

Yes, find was not used on purpose, and besides Draco would track something down rather than simply look for it anyway. "Yeah, yeah, top of the class. Aren't you just special, Mr. Malfoy?" She kissed him on the cheek again before going back to her plate, which was essentially empty by her definition. There were still a few bites left though, and she figured if she'd come this far she might as well finish the rest.

Draco would track her down. He would probably enslave a small puff to do it for him actually but that's beside the point. Draco smiled when she kissed his cheek, "Actually I do like to think I'm rather special." Draco is supremely impressed and the second she put the last bite in her mouth he laughed victoriously, "At last. You've eaten it all." He leaned over and kissed her on the cheek.

"So I have. Now you'll leave me alone until our next meal, when it'll be the same story over again." She grinned at him and scooted back a little from the table, pulling out a book and opening it on her lap. She knew they'd be there a while longer while Draco ate until he was full. It always took a while until he was full.

Draco smiled at her knowing it was true, "So what are you reading now?" He started really focusing on his food, intent on finishing this plate and then grabbing a couple of cookies and an apple to go for dessert.
