Re: Near the Entrance
Vee patted at her hair, and laughed at the heavily breathing Aidan. "You, my friend, are a flobberworm. Officially." Vee loved dinner time. The good smells, talking to her friends, and best of all, the food! "Oh, the cooking is done by house elves." She said nonchalantly. She said it nonchalantly A)because I wanted to use 'nonchalantly' in a sentence and b)because she has a house elf at home.
Re: Near the Entrance
Aidan walked towards the door, thoroughly ready for dinner. "I've heard the food is great here. Wolfsbane's cooking is all done magically, and the results, well.... maybe disastrous is the word." He was excited for the food, but a bit anxious about sitting at a table with a bunch of brilliant ravenclaw strangers. "What happens after dinner?"

Re: Near the Entrance
"The food here is the best in the world! Or at least I think so. Well, actually the best food in the world is those nutella cupcakes they make at Honeydukes." Ooooh Vee remembered the day she and Jenna bought the whole stock and took them home. They ate them all and got a stomach ache. "Don't worry about the Ravenclaw strangers. They're really nice!" Well, actually Vee had only met 1 Ravenclaw, but she was awesome. "Rose Weasley is really nice. She's one of my best friends!" Vee stood on her toes, scanning the room for Rose. "Oh... After dinner?" She answered distractedly. "Um... We basically have free time, it's supposed to be in our common room, but no one ever listens to that." Um...
Re: Near the Entrance
Gwen walked quietly down to the Great Hall, carefully avoiding Filch and Mrs. Norris. She gingerly stepped into the Great Hall and looked around nervously. She was a Ravenclaw, she never broke rules. Fred had better make this worth it. She didn't want a detention, she had a record to maintain and enough of a homework load as it was.
Re: Near the Entrance
Fred walked down the stairs quietly, checking the marauder's map he held in his hand. He saw Gwen in the Great Hall, and no sign of Filch or Mrs. Norris. Actually, no one. Which was a good sign. He quickly tip toed into the Great Hall. "Gwen!" He hissed from the corner he entered from. Of COURSE he took a secret passage!

Re: Near the Entrance
Gwen looked around for a moment before catching sight of that familiar shock of red hair. "Fred!" She whispered loudly "What are we going to do?" Before going over, and joining him in the corner of the room.
Re: Near the Entrance
"Well, we could go for a stroll around the grounds, or a swim in the lake, or we could sneak off to Hogsmeade!" Fred was always good at coming up with daring plans, although a swim in the lake at night sounded a bit frightening. I mean, who knows what's in there! "Or I suppose we could go camping in the forbidden forest, but I don't exactly fancy that."

Re: Near the Entrance
Gwen thought for a moment, and then decided. "Let's go for a walk, the grounds are really pretty at night." Gwen grabbed him by the elbow and pulled him outside, down the steps and onto a moonlit path that wound through the grounds. It was a beautiful night and you could hear the crickets and cicadas chirping away.
Re: Near the Entrance
[Personally, cicadas piss me off, but whatever.]
Fred stumbles over his own large feet as Gwen pulls him outside. She was strong. "Hey! I can walk!" He protested, gently shaking her off of his arm. "The grounds do look quite pretty tonight, although if I may say so, you have dimmed their beauty in comparison." God that's sappy. And not phrased right. Whatever. "Shall we walk past the lake?" Fred could see its surface from here, reflecting the lights in the sky, making the surface appear crystalline.
