Viktor walks along the lake, looking for Kiora as he takes in the lovely scenery of the lake. He notices that one guy he met in the library a long time ago. What was his name? Neville. That's it. He walks over to say hello, his face lighting up when he sees the pineapple. "Hey. Neville, right?"

Neville looks up, right as he put a huge chunk of pineapple in his mouth. "Hi! Viktor!" He mumbles and chews his pineapple and swallows it. "How are you?!" He asks, staring at him with wide eyes.

Viktor smiles and takes Neville's reaction as an invitation to sit down. "I'm alright," he says with a happy smile. "I didn't know you liked pineapple," he comments, briefly thinking of his last pineapple picnic...with Cedric.

Neville grinned at Viktor again. "I love pineapple! It's sooo yummy! This right here. Is a fresh one too. I grew it in my own garden!" He says, still grinning. "Do you like pineapple Viktor?" He asked with a grin. "Do you want some?"

"You grew this?" he asks in astonishment. "Wow, it looks amazing. I love pineapple, actually. It's my favorite fruit." He smiles and takes a small piece off the plate. "Thank you," he says before popping it into his mouth, his eyes widening as he bites into the juice fruit. He waits until he swallows it before he speaks again. "This...is the best pineapple I have ever eaten. Seriously, do you know how much I vould pay for pineapple like this?"

Neville nodded when he asked if he grew it. "Yup. In my garden here on the grounds." He grinned when he said how good it was. "Really!?! Well....I grow a lot in my garden so if you ever really want some pineapple. Just...You know...Hit me up." He said nodding and grinning.

"Woah. That is so cool," he says before taking another piece to nom on. "You're really talented vith this sort of thing, huh?" He smiled and continued eating the yummy fruit. "So Neville, vot have you been up to recently."

Neville shrugged and blushed. "I guess...well...some people say so." He said, not wanting to sound too modest even though he knew he was pretty damn awesome. "Um, Nothing really. I went to the mixer." He said with a smile. "But it was super boring and weird." He said and frowned. "I came on a picnic." He said with a smile. "And now you are here!"

"Oh yeah. I vent to the mixer too, though I don't remember a lot of it," he admits, smiling sheepishly. Stupid roofies. "Vell, sorry you didn't have a great time. Parties aren't for everyvon. I'd rather be on a pineapple picnic anyvay," he says with a grin.

Neville grins. "It's like you are my long lost twin, Viktor." He says, grinning as he took another piece of pineapple and popped it in his mouth. He chewed and swallowed it and grinned at Viktor. "So....Viktor. Tell me...What's new?"

Viktor smiled at the twin comment. This Neville guy was pretty awesome. "Vell, thanks. That's awfully nice of you to say, Neville. I'm glad to be called your long lost twin. Um. Not much has been new vith me. Just making friends vith everyvon here, I guess. Everyvon is so friendly. Especially those Ravenclaws."

"Oh yeah! Ravenclaws are pretty cool. There is this one Ravenclaw I know. Her name is Marietta. She is really nice." He says nodding. "Hufflepuffs are nice too. If you don't know any...You should get to know one Hannah Abbot. She is like my best friend and she is really nice." He says nodding.

"I know quite a few Hufflepuffs. All of them friendly," he says with a grin. "My friend, Kras, just transfered here from Durmstrang. He got sorted into Hufflepuff as vell. And Cedric is von of my best friends. He's the Puff's Quidditch captain. There are others too, but I've known Kras and Cedric the longest. I don't think I've met Hannah though. You'll have to introduce me sometime."

Neville nods. "Yeah! I know those guys!" He said nodding some more. He popped another piece of pineapple in his mouth and smiled. "Of course I will. I am sure she will like you!" He said nodding. "She likes everybody. She's sooo nice all the time." Good thing neville doesn't have a crush or anything.

"She is like one of my best friends." He said nodding. "She is definitely my best friend off the opposite sex." He says, eating another piece of pineapple. "Who is your best friend of the opposite sex Viktor?"

Viktor's face lights up as he immediately thinks of Hermione. "She's just my best friend in general, actually. She goes to this school too. Maybe you know her? Her name's Herm-own-ninny," he says, trying to get the name right but failing as usual. "She's amazing. I can talk to her about anything, you know? I've never had somevon like that before. It's almost like I'm a different person around her," he sighs, smiling to himself about his best friend and her Doomsday Device. He never talked much unless he was talking to Hermione, or about Hermione. "She's really clever as vell. Probably the smartest witch in this school. A lot more talented than anyvon I've ever met. And she's really sweet and nice. She doesn't judge like some people. And she's alvays liked me for me. Not just because I'm famous or anything, vich is another thing I love about her." He doesn't realize he's rambling, and Neville isn't cutting him off so he keeps going. "And she's funny too. So...Funny," he says, smirking at the memory of their last talk. Getting rid of a Quidditch block. She so did that on purpose to see if he'd twitch. He just knows it. And then giving it back to him by removing a studying square because she said he didn't need the extra time for Transfiguration. He's not sure why her compliments mean so much to him. Probably just because she's his best friend, and she's the smartest person he knows. "She's just that von person I can talk to anything about. I don't know vot I'd do vithout a friend like her...Um...Sorry. Didn't mean to ramble like that," he admits sheepishly, taking a bite of pineapple to make himself shut up.

Neville sits there, staring at Viktor with a huge grin on his face, nodding. The only thing he does during the whole ramble was murmer little Yeahs while he nodded. He grinned at him "Wow...you really have a good best friend." He says, still grinning at Viktor. "Sounds to me like you like her a lot. She sure is a keeper!"

Viktor smiled happily, nodding as Neville talked. "I do. I vouldn't trade my best friend for anything in the vorld," he says with a happy sigh. "I mean, I might never fall in love and settle down. And my Quidditch career can't last forever, obviously. But...It's nice to know that I'll alvays have a friend like Herm-own-ninny around, no matter vot happens, you know?"

"Hermione is a nice girl." he says nodding. "I've known her for a long time, she tried to help me find my toad Trevor back in first year!" He says with a grin.

The girl probably made that guy's day, despite how awkward it was for her. "It's nice having friends like Herm-own-ninny, Dean, and Hannah. And of course I have other amazing friends. People like Molly and Cedric. They're cool too. Especially Molly. She. Is. So. Awesome."
