Glad you've joined, and hopefully you'll love it here as much as we do.
RP stuff is all grouped together, and is easy enough to get into.
We're all a bit insane here, some more than others, but it's a load of fun as long as you're cool with a little nuttiness.

I'm the Slytherin mod, but there are mods for each other other houses, as well as a Head Mod and our Admin Eowyn. You can PM any of us if you have a question (names in teal or purple).

Just make sure you check out the rules and so long as you stick to them, we won't have any problems.

I'm Xena Lovegood, technically Luna's mom. But for the purposes of this site, can I be, I dunno, her sister or something? How does stuff like that work? I know that everyone's student-age no matter what, so how do you guys deal with older canon characters?

In reagards to your question about older canon characters, it doesn't really matter if you are older or not. You can interact with people from the same era or different ones. The people who are parents of other characters also sometimes talk to their daughter/son. So it doesn't really matter with that.

Yep, you can choose which year you'd like to be, it's totally up to you!
Also, even though the RP is restarting in September, maybe you could use the time between now and then to familiarise yourself with the site and develop your character and style etc etc?
