"It's really rather simple. I mostly look at the white part of the saucer, and the image stands out more." She shrugged and thanked the house elf. "But, you're trying out for the Quidditch team! That's awesome. Maybe I should come watch the trails. I've heard they are going to make a cheerleading team of sorts, I'd love to be on that. I'm not much of a flyer, rather horrible actually."

"Ah, a cheerleadin' team! I'm sure you'll be the loudest one if ya join. I mean that in a good way," Seamus added. "And if you're givin' me some Charms tutorin', then maybe I could teach ya to fly in return! Once ya get up there and have it down, it's fantastic! I'll even let ya give me Nimbus 2000 a go! I just got it. I know it's a bit of a dated broom, but it's till wicked fast!"

Her eyes widen. "Really? You'd teach me? I'm not lying when I say I'm rubbish. I haven't been on a broom since our first flying lesson...first year! And Nimbus' are really nice broom, I hear. We have a 'family broom', I think it's a Cleansweep or something. It's really old. I'm rambling." She blushed. "I'd love for you to teach me sometime. It'd be fun!" She looked down at her hands and rushed her next words, "Sort of like a date."

Seamus grinned. "Of course! It'll be so fun! When I'm done with ya you'll be able to try out for any Quiditch team!" He smiled as she spoke, not minding her rambling at all, and was about to tell her this when she mentioned the word date. Freezing for a second, he felt a rush of emotions all clambering around in his head, and turned a brilliant red. "A date ya say?" he said, trying to keep a calm exterior but his voice wavering slightly. "I would find it a great pleasure to call it a date." Again, Seamus paused. "Maybe even call this a date."

She blushed even more, somehow, as she listened to him talk. She glanced up at him through her eyelashes. "Yeah, I guess you could this a date." She mumbled then cleared her throat. She sat in a semi awkward silence, not really sure what to say next. She grabbed her glass and took a drink, just for something to do.

Seamus sat watching his for a second, trying to find something clever or flirtatious to say, when the same house elf returned with two plates in his hand. Carefully it placed one in front of each of them, bowed low, then rushed off to tend to something else. "Thanks!" he called after the elf, hoping it heard him. "This looks delicious! Even better than what they serve in the Great Hall, if that was possible!" Glancing up at Lavender, the corner of his mouth twitched with pleasure.

[BUT ANGE I LOOOOOVVEEE YOUUUU!!! -cries-]

She straightened as the house elf deposited her plate. "Oh, thank you! This does look delicious. Well. Cheers." She picked up her knife and fork and cut a piece of chicken. She then twirled some noodles around the fork and held it up to air toast Seamus, before taking a bite. "MMMM es soo ooodd!" She said, while chewing.

Seamus, after waiting for Lavender to take the first bite, toasted with her and immediatley began cutting into his chicken. He swallowed, luckily just before he started laughing uncontrollably. She was being so adorable. "Yeah it is! I'm glad you like my choice!" They made eye-contact for a second, and Seamus finally plucked up the courage and reached across the table to place his hand on hers, praying she wouldn't mind.

She took another bite and went to reach for her cup, when Seamus placed his hand on top of hers. She froze for a fraction of a second then smiled at them. She turned her hand so it was facing palm up, and gave his hand a little squeeze. "The chicken was a good idea. But need I remind you, it was I who chose Parmesan Chicken." She giggled.

His eyes twinkled when she accepted his gesture. "Very true. I must say, good call at that by the way." Seamus stared at her for a second, eyes growing soft, as his heart thudded in his chest. Then he managed to stutter, "Y-you have . . . really p-pretty eyes." Quit stammering, fool! "Erm, actually, they're beautiful. Just like you." Cheesy, he thought, but acceptable, I guess.

She giggled her very famous Lavender giggle and blushed scarlet. "Um. Thank you." She looked down again. "You aren't so hard on the eyes either, Mr. Finnigan. Not to mention the accent isn't too common here." She looked up half a centimeter and smiled at him. Then a little house elf came over seeing if they needed anything else. "Oh, no thank you. I think we're good for now. I'll let you know if we decide we want some dessert."

Seamus smiled, even her laugh was cute. When the house elf came over he drew his hand away, aware that the moment was temporarily ruined, yet still swooning in it. "Oh, I'd love dessert!" He glanced down and placed his order, "Can I have a cauldron cake and a few pumpkin pasties, please? Want anything else, or does that sound good?" he asked, his second question directed at Lavender.

She glanced down at her half eaten chicken, suddenly wanting chocolate. "Can you bring me one of those little chocolate cakes, with the melted fudge in the middle, and the fresh strawberries on the side?" She smiled at the little elf as he bobbled away then looked back at Seamus. "Glad he knew what I meant."

He chuckled, "They seem to know everything, don't they? Bright little guys, I say." Seamus bent over his plate and quickly took in the last remaing bites of his chicken and pasta. Licking his lips, he straightend up in his chair and took a napkin to delicately dab his lips, which was not at all like him. There was a ringing silence that followed before Seamus spoke up. "This was a great idea, to come 'ere and all. I've always wondered 'ow to get into the kitchens. I won't tell anyone how, of course."

She ate a couple more bite, making sure to leave room for dessert. "I'm glad you came with me. Don't worry about telling people, I don't think it's much of a secret anymore. Almost everyone I know , knows how to get in here. With the crazy studying schedules we have, it's hard to find time to eat a proper meal. It's nice being able to come here as you wish." She pushed her plate away and leaned back in her chair.

"Ugh, I hate studying!" Seamus groaned, putting down his fork and knife. "I'm so not ready for N.E.W.T.s, they're gonna kill me." The house elf returned as he said this, holding their final course. "Ah, yes!" he sighed, reaching once more for his fork. "Whoa." He stopped, staring at the mound of chocolate in front of Lavender. "That looks so good!"

Her eyes go wide as she looks at the delicious dessert. Her smile grows bigger and bigger as she stares, practically drooling, at the chocolate. "You can have a bite! After I get the first." She grabs her fork and lets it melt into the delicious little cake, letting the melted fudge spill over the sides. She takes a bite and moans with pleasure.[<.<] She practically melts.

[O.O] Seamus, still in shock, reached his forky slowly across the table and scooped up a small piece. Holding his hand underneath it so the chocolate didn't drip on the table, he drew it up to his mouth and chewed, savoring the delicious, melt-in-your-mouth chocolate. After a full minute of careful chewing he swallowed and said, "So. Freakin'. Good. From now on, you're picking my food. Just so ya know." He looked down at his now pitiful looking collection of sweets, then shrugged and dug in.

She giggled and yelled over her shoulder. "Can we get another one of these?" She looked back at him. "I guess I just have exquisite taste." She took another bite, and had a mouthgasm. She savored every second of every bite, not bothering to talk. "It's like heaven created a dessert for us mere mortals to enjoy."

As Lavender said this the house elf showed up with his own little piece of chocolate heaven. Raising his hands to the sky, Seamus cried, "A gift from the Gods! Many thanks!" and proceeded to stuffing his face. The sweet, chewy, and stunning little treat was enough to make him hyperventilate. Even his enemies were tasting this sweet pleasure. When he had finished - complete with licking the plate clean - he quickly wiped his chocolate covered face clean before Lavender could get a good look at him.

Lavender stared at him devour his cake. She giggled at the chocolate smeared all over his face, before he wiped it away. She still had a couple bites left, and she ate them delicately with her fork. "Enjoy yourself then? You missed a spot." She pointed to his chin, which still had a speck of chocolate on it.

"Oh, shoot!" Seamus exclaimed as he wiped his chin again, then scrubbed to be sure it was officially gone this time. "Thanks," he muttered, blushing at his stupidity. He watched her finish up her Chocolate Heaven, grinning as she took her time in a very adorable fashion. When she finally set down her fork, he asked, "If you are done, I'd be glad to escort ya to where you wish to go next. Perhaps our Common Room or back to the docks?"

She patted the corner of her mouth with a napkin. "Well. You choose. I feel like I've been making all the decisions today." She smiled sweetly and stood to start clearing away their plates. She was soon joined by a house elf, insisting on helping. She handed the little guy some of the plates, and carried the rest over to the sinks.

Seamus stood up and followed them, picking up the glasses so he didn't look like an annoying guy who never attempts to help clean up. "Well, maybe we could go to the library and have sex head up to the Common Room to sit and talk? It's usually empty around this time, so there shouldn't be any interruptions."
