I just read the first one, and I have no words. It is joint first place with the Harry Potter books right now.

I was on the edge of my seat the whole time, and I cried, and I gasped. I NEVER do that in books. It was the first book that I didnt want to ruin the ending for (I always look at the last page. I KNOW ITS TERRIBLE BUT I HAVE AN ADDICTION).

I bought to book in town and got home about 2:30 and had finished it by 8:30. That is how good it is. I missed dinner for this book. I never miss a meal. Ever. Unless I am ill. I have to go out and buy the next one at some point tomorrow. I am tempted to go to school early and buy it from Tesco in the morning.

And the finale should have been between Rue and Katniss.
And Peeta was pathetically obvious, and Katniss was painfully oblivious.

Although it would have been interesting having Rue and Katniss. I think Rue would have sacrificed herself for Katniss, she seemed the type.

Katniss is a dumbass, how could she not see?! And she obviously has the same back, but she just doesnt realise it. I often wonder about Gale. I guess I find out in the next books.

Katniss is an incredibly annoying character because she never really figures out what is going on, when we can plainly see, but I kinda like that she has flaws, it makes it morereal I felt.
