Re: Parkinson Home
Pansy didn't stop pouting, just added in a serious glare, which she had to quickly smooth into a neutral expression as the door opened. She leaned toward Draco, lowly whispering a response before her father came into the room. "You and I both know that can't seriously happen." She sat up again, looking up at her father. "Hi, Daddy. Thanks for having Dilly bring dinner down."
Re: Parkinson Home
Draco looked over at Leo, not responding to Pansy's last statement in front of him. "Thank you, that was delicious." He stood up and picked up the plates, putting them to the side and moving to sit back into his chair from before. "I was wondering what the arrangements for tonight are?" He still thought Pansy had a good idea of going back up to her room or his even because Muffy was even less likely to check there, but wasn't sure she would be able to get up early enough to hide.
Re: Parkinson Home
"Well," Leo said, leaning back against his desk, "I know my little girl isn't exactly a morning bird, so we'll have to put you somewhere your mother won't find you. SO, as such I think we'll figure out something down here." He nodded his head for them to follow him back through the various interconnected rooms of his study, which was quite a bit more elaborate than the usual studies of his peers. He turned a few corners, opened a door disguised as a bookshelf, and entered another room lined with books with a large cushioned couch in it. Pulling out his wand, he moved it in some elaborate twists, transfiguring the couch to be larger and wider, and more suitable as a small bed. "Pansy, for you." He moved into the next room, where there was a large wing-backed chair. He repeated similar motions with his wand upon the chair, stretching it much longer and wider and tilting the back of it to be flat. "And Draco, for you. I'll send Dilly down with pillows and blankets for you both, and you're welcome to any of the books in here as well. I'll leave you two for the night, and send Dilly down with breakfast in the morning." He walked over to Pansy, smoothing his hand over her hair and kissing the top of her head before he went back through the series of rooms and shut the study door behind him as he left.
Re: Parkinson Home
Draco shot Pansy a look and chuckled when Leo said she wasn't a morning bird. Following Leo through he couldn't hide the admiration and excitement in his gaze as he looked around. After the chair was transfigured for him he nodded, "Thank you, I guess we'll see you in the morning?" Part of Draco wanted to talk to Leo in the morning but another part didn't want him coming down so he wouldn't be too paranoid about curling up with Pansy, if she let him that is. After Leo left Draco wandered over and sat on the end of Pansy's bed, "So do you want to sleep now or do something else?"
Re: Parkinson Home
"I'll probably be down around lunch time. Though I wouldn't be surprised if Pansy sleeps until then." Leo told Draco, and then he was gone. Yup. Pansy sank down onto her bed, tucking her legs under her and smiling up at Draco as he came over. She shrugged lightly. "I don't know. I've already looked through all these rooms a million times, but I'm sure you're probably itching to take a look, given permission for whatever we want in here." She grinned at him, standing up and tugging on his hand to pull him up off her bed and encourage him to look around like he wanted.
Re: Parkinson Home
Draco grinned and kept hold of her hand, pulling on her hand to head through the passages, stopping in several of the rooms and looking over all the bookshelves. "Your father has the most amazing collection of books." He pulled her along into the next room and kept going along the shelves. At a few spots he pulled out books and flicked through them, occasionally pulling one out, putting some back but keeping one or two that he wanted to read.
Re: Parkinson Home
Pansy smiled and followed him, leaving her hand in his as they moved through the various rooms, most of them crammed full floor to ceiling with books. She stayed rather quiet, just walking along with him when he moved among the shelves and things of her father's. A little while later though, as he flipped through another book, she pressed her cheek against his shoulder. "Nearly done collecting things?" She blinked up at him sleepily, though Pansy of course didn't realize that it was sleepily.
Re: Parkinson Home
Draco looked down at her and noticed her sleepy blinking. He smiled at her and wrapped his arm around her waist, putting the last book back on the shelf and keeping three in his arms. "I'm done now, I can always get more tomorrow. I think it's time for bed now." He walked her back to their rooms and noticed there were pillows and blankets on the beds now. He pressed a kiss to her forehead and went into his room to change in to boxers and a tshirt.
Re: Parkinson Home
Pansy smiled at him and sat on her bed, watching him leave before she got up and very very quickly changed out of her jeans and shirt into some soft shorts and a big old t-shirt. Collapsing back onto her bed, she curled up and tugged her pillow toward her, putting it under her head and assuming her little ball position. She shut her eyes for a moment, not thinking to grab her blanket and cover up just yet. If she knew him at all, Draco would pop in in just a moment anyway, if only to say goodnight.
Re: Parkinson Home
Draco knocked gently on the door and peered in, seeing her all curled up. He walked over to her and picked up the blankets, pulling them over her and sitting down next to her, his fingers stroking her hair, "Do you want me to wake you up in the morning or are you going to be in a breakfast in bed mood?"
Re: Parkinson Home
Pansy opened her eyes, looking up as Draco came in. She moved over a little when he sat down, giving him some room. She shrugged a little. "I don't know." She couldn't think of much else to say, just tugged her blankets up tighter over her shoulder and settling down into her pillow. "You staying for our usual at-home-sleepover?" She slipped one fingers out from under her blankets, extending her hand toward him along the bed.
Re: Parkinson Home
Draco smiled and stood up, pulling the blankets up and crawling in next to her. "Always. You okay or are you cold?" He didn't wait for her to answer, flicking his wand at the fireplace and stoking up the flames before summoning the blanket and his pillow from his room and laying it over them. He reached out and took her hand, lying on his pillow next to hers.
Re: Parkinson Home
Pansy moved over a little more to make room for him, glad her father had made the couch-bed large enough. She stayed curled up, but put her hand in his when he reached for it, smiling at him a little. "I'm just fine." She was chilly, but Draco had quickly solved that with the extra blanket, crackling fireplace, and his own body heat under the covers as well. She looked over at his face, staring at his eyes comfortably, his familiar silver eyes so warm and loved for so long.
Re: Parkinson Home
Draco matched her gaze for a while before he leaned forwards and kissed her on the forehead, "Sweet dreams Pansy." He pulled back and closed his eyes, his hand still clasped in hers as he fell asleep.
Re: Parkinson Home
Pansy smiled at him, closing her eyes as well. "Night, Draco." She stayed awake a while, distracted by the way his hand wrapped around hers and his soft breathing fell into an even rhythm as he fell asleep. She opened her eyes again, watching his face for a little while before she too feel asleep without realizing it, quite happy and peaceful as she slept through the entire night and well into the morning.
Re: Parkinson Home
Draco woke up the next morning and blinked around for a bit, the dark room made even darker by the lack of windows and the dying fire. He reached around and found his wand, shooting a spell at the fire and gently pulling his hand from Pansy's, sitting up and looking for his watch to find the time. Not seeing it he looked down at her and slipped from the bed, walking into the other room he found his watch and picked up one of the books heading back to sit down next to her in the bed and prop his wand up as a light to read from.
Re: Parkinson Home
Pansy stayed sound asleep, aided by the dark quietness of the room. She shifted a little as he got up, drawing her hand back toward herself and curling up in a tighter ball, though she remained asleep. When he came back in and sat on the bed, she woke a little, pulling the blanket up toward her face to block out the light of his wand.
Re: Parkinson Home
Draco chuckled when she pulled up the blanket and stroked her head, angling his wand to move the light a little further away from her. Based on the time he figured she could get another hour or two of sleep before Dilly brought down their breakfast. He wasn't sure why he got up so early but he figured as much time has he could spend reading the books he had found the better.
Re: Parkinson Home
Pansy slept a while longer without interruption, dreamless peaceful sleep that would leave you well rested whenever you could be bothered enough to wake up. The blankets were warm and the fire was heating the room again, and of course Draco's fingers playing over her hair was incredibly soothing. Boring sleeping-Pansy post is boring.

Re: Parkinson Home
Draco kept reading until Dilly popped in and stood up to accept the tray from the little elf. He put the tray down next to him on the little table and turned, brushing her hair back and gently shaking her shoulder. "Pans, it's time to wake up." He shook her shoulder again, "Pans, I have tea for you."
Re: Parkinson Home
Pansy woke when Draco's hand landed on her shoulder, and she blinked up at him. But once he said tea, she sat up, and pushed her hair back, rubbing her hands over her face until she could properly wake up. "What time is it?" She shifted around in the bed so that she was sitting indian style, straightening her shirt out a bit where it had gotten twisted in the night.
Re: Parkinson Home
Draco passed her a cup of tea and fixed one for himself. "Almost nine thirty. Did you sleep well?" He put the delicate book to the side and grabbed one of the plates, loaded high with fruit and french toast sticks, and put it in between them for them to both eat off.
Re: Parkinson Home
Pansy took the cup from him with a smile, nodding a little at his question before she took a sip. She picked up a french toast stick, taking a small bite from the end before she put it down and pulled her hair back into a ponytail, and then resumed eating a little breakfast. "Did you? Sleep well, I mean?"
Re: Parkinson Home
Draco grabbed an apple and started eating it, making sure not to drip apple juice everywhere. "Yeah, I woke up early for no apparent reason but I've been reading since then. It's been nice. So how long has it been since you've been allowed to stay down here for such a long time?"
Re: Parkinson Home
"Probably since before Hogwarts. Once I got to school, mum liked to keep me closer to her. Said I had to learn to be a pureblood princess, and not daddy's little dueling protege. So the lessons stopped and I got taken shopping instead and things were much less enjoyable at home from that time on." She shrugged slightly, still eating a french toast stick, which was sprinkled perfectly with cinnamon sugar.
