And these five things lead up to one very stupid, and also very awesome action, taken by Sirius, which is to say, he promptly places both his hands on either side of Molly's face, and while still dancing to the beat, albeit rather drunkenly and stumbling slightly, he promptly presses his lips to Molly's, and in the moment of surprise he's caught her in, he most certainly lets his tongue slip out of his mouth and into hers, and in doing so says goodbye to anything he might have thought in his rational mind.

And Gideon is on the edge of the dancefloor, because he's been here the whole time and didn't you notice? Obviously he's been here. >.> Anyway, Gideon looks up from his drink and the gorgeous girl he was just winking at just in time to see Sirius kiss Molly. Instantly, his InnerProtective!Gideon kicks in, and flipping his hair in the direction of the girl and muttering, "Hold my drink, will you?", he strides over, just standing next to Sirius for a second. Then, he taps him on the shoulder. "Excuse me?"

Sirius blinks and stops sucking Molly's face off long enough to turn around, and come face to face with one Gideon Prewett- SHIT! "Uh, hey there, Gideon, aren't you looking dashing tonight!" he says in his cheeriest voice, hoping to hell he isn't about to get his face punched in, as he scans the room for the quickest route of escape, because no matter how hot Molly is, she is so not worth a black eye, or worse, messed up hair.

Molly blinks as she hears a familiar, so not happy right now voice, and feels Sirius pull away from that nice, distracting snog in the middle of the dance floor. She winces. Oh, hey there big brother. Then she realises something else - Alice is going to fucking kill her. Molly sighs, because this night has just been one big fail, and tosses her hair over her shoulder as if she wasn't just making out with a half naked guy who happens to be into her sister in the middle of a crowded dance floor. "Uh, ohmyGod. Hi, Gid," she says, trying not to squeak.

Gideon smirks a little at the distress on Sirius' face as he tries to find an escape route. He looks over at Molly with a look that says 'And-I'll-be-talking-to-you-later-about-this', before turning back to Sirius. Then he glares his stoniest glare. "Of course I look dashing. What a stupid question. I have a question for you, though. What the hell are you doing to my sister?"

[-feels pretty BAMF right now-]

"Uh... If you want the honest answer, I was under the impression I was cheering her up, but I feel like somehow that won't cut it, so I'll say I was momentarily possessed by You-Know-Who, and he tried to force me to suck out her soul dementor style, only, obviously, it didn't work, because I'm not a dementor, AND THIS ALL WORKS OUT BRILLIANTLY BECAUSE MOLLY STILL HAS HER SOUL! So can't we all celebrate now? DRINKS ALL AROUND!" Sirius promptly throws his hands up in the air, grins at Molly and Gideon, then immediately bolts as fast he can, running directly into the still snogging Doctor.

Molly's jaw drops at Gideon's tone, and any tendency to laugh at Sirius' response is quashed by the fact that Sirius has just bolted. So essentially Gideon has managed to chase away a perfectly friendly, necessary distraction from all that 'BFF making out with the crush' hell. It's pretty much just the last straw for Molly, and she is not amused right now. "OhmyGod! Like, what the hell was that all about, Gideon!?" Oh, the full name, it must be serious.

[-feels much less BAMF because a) he kinda wanted to punch Sirius in the face, and b) he is kinda scared of Molly...-]

Any clever retort, of which Gid had many options, was futile like resistance, as he watched Sirius run for his life. yes, his life. Gideon would catch up with him eventually... "What the hell was I all about? WHAT WERE YOU DOING, MOLLY PREWETT?!" He is probably madder than he should be, but cut him some slack - he really wanted to punch Sirius and has now been denied that chance.

SIRIUS WILL SPEND THE REST OF HIS FUCKING LIFE RUNNING. THE REST. OF. HIS. LIFE-- after he tumbles right into Caradoc and Viktor. Caradoc scowls, not at all amused at his snogging session being interrupted by-- "Oh. It's you. Did you want in?"

Sirius promptly gags, flails, points at Gideon, and tackles Viktor. "HELP! HE'S GOING TO KILL ME, BECAUSE OF THE SEXY GINGER! PROTECT ME, FOOLS!" Sirius tugs on both Viktor and Rad, hoping to hell they'll form a giant wall of muscle and protect his comparably puny form. "QUICK, MAKE FOR THE EXIT!"

"WHAT DID IT LOOK LIKE!?" she screams back, which is probably not the smartest thing for her to have screamed, but we've been though this. She's no genius, ok. "Merlin, Gid, it's a bloody party! I was only dancing, and it was just a kiss. There was, like, NO reason for you to come barging over here acting like that! Who do you think you are!?" she rages, hands on hips in the classic Angry!Molly Is Angry pose.

[Viktor Krum - Inactive]

Normally, Viktor would be like hellz no because Sirius is a douchebag and he just interrupted a hell of a lot of fun, but he's high and just wants to go with the flow right now, so he follows Sirius out the door, hoping he'll be able to ditch him so he can have naked, sexy time with Caradoc. Yep.

So yeah, Caradoc, Sirius, and Viktor are gone, and somehow in all of this, one of us three grabbed Regulus out of there before he got caught in the crossfire of whatever the fuck's going to happen in there. Yup. WE'RE GONE.

And just because it's a party doesn't mean that you should go around snogging every guy who comes along! That Sirius Black isn't good enough for you - besides, isn't he with Alice?" Gideon yells, with much arm flailing that would been amusing were it not for the circumstances.
