I've been putting of posting this because it makes me extremely sad.

Next Thursday (the 1st) we are leaving to go back to WI...for the whole month...I am not thrilled with this little vacation, but that's a whole other thing...

SO. I won't be here at all that first weekend. It's a 21 hour drive, then I have a wedding and bachelorette party on Saturday. So I'm missing the start of 3.0 and I can't even explain how depressed that makes me.

I'll be able to get on every so often though and I won't be back in Charleston until October 8th.

So yeah. Someone come kidnap me?

I'm going to post in this thread just because I really don't know what's going to happen this week. I'm moving into my dorm tomorrow morning and I have no idea how the day is going to turn out. I have no idea who my roommate is and she might expect me to be a little more social then staying up until 1 or 2 on the computer. Then until Wednesday is frosh week activities and I have all my classmates from Iceland to catch up with. So yeah. The point of this is that I may be on a ton in the next few days, or I may not be on at all. Hopefully the former. (:

So quick update on my current situation. I'm currently living on the only floor in the only house that is having problems with the wireless internet. Plus, my computer is pretty old. So the option of me getting on via wireless anytime soon is VERY slim. I did, however, just buy a ethernet cable which was giving me hell up until about twenty minutes ago. I don't know exactly how long I'm going to have this connection for. To sum this up, I have no idea when/if I'll be able to get on in the near future. I'm hoping that this cable does the trick but since it wasn't working all afternoon that's doubtful.

Wasn't sure which 'absence' thread to stick this in, but since it's potentially extended, I'll put it here.

Basically my life currently feels like I'm drowning.
I've got 325 sketches to finish by Wednesday morning.
2 design concepts to come up with for things for work by Wednesday morning.
An entire package to re-redesign because my first one was "not up to par with the skill level that I generally present" by Wednesday afternoon.
And 31 pages of a book to write/sketch/design/print/cut out/bind together/complete for next Tuesday. I've done 2 pages tonight. It's taken 3 hours. That's a great sign of how easy this is going to be.

Anyway.
I'm preparing myself to enter a vampire/hermit state of being, where I only leave my room for food or class or a football game. Shut up, football is important. All in all, if my presence is sparse or if it seems that I have died and/or disappeared from being, chances are, I am busy hiding in my room in the dark hissing at my computer and wanting to immediately salt and burn anyone who speaks to me without permission, or before 9:30 am, whichever it may be at the moment.

I feel like I could spit fire right now and not in the awesome way. In the 'I want to destroy everything I touch' way.
