Re: On the Outskirts of the Grounds
Raphael cooled down a bit. "Well, that's good. It's...you have no idea how hard it is to clean those kind of messes up. Especially looking in their eyes afterward, when you try to get them to talk..." He drifted off, remembering the emptiness some of the girls' eyes held, or the fear...a few times even rage. "Anyway, in the States we have wizarding foster homes so that the government doesn't have to deal with too many questions, or moving around."
Re: On the Outskirts of the Grounds
Finn wouldn't admit it, but his heart sank a bit when he heard the modifier "in the States", meaning there weren't--or probably weren't--any wizarding homes in the UK. But of course, that would have made things too easy. He went back to picking at his pants and got a bit quiet. "'E's a fookin' arse'ole." he said, rather quietly. He didn't want to talk about this, it was making him incredibly uncomfortable, but Raphael had fucking started it, and he wasn't going away. He didn't want to just sit there in silence for an hour, either.

Raphael stood up and brushed off his robes. "It's not all it's cracked up to be. Especially if you're pureblood and your mum is famous. Even regular wizarding homes are a bit hard to live in too, from what I hear." Turning back to wavem he began to walk off. "I have to go and make sure Halloween doesn't let the herbs wilt too much, gotta extract the roots and dry the flowers before they lose any of their properties. If you need to talk about anything, come see me, yeah? And if you need anymore bone-mend." And with that he walked off, because he knew it was extremely uncomfortable for Finn to open up everything at once.
