Blaise just leaned against the hump waiting for something to happen. Anything. It eas so quiet around here now. He could go home to mother, but she didn't want him there, plus she was getting ready for her 13th.... or was it 14th... wedding. And he did not want to be there for that! She had banned him because of all the rude comments he had made before. Most were along the lines of 'Just uses the same people at as before, they catered your last 6 weddings, they know what you like'. He let out a sigh. aybe he should find Pansy.

Draco was walking down the hallway when he saw Blaise standing there. He knew that Pansy had sorta made up with him and supposed he should too after all, they had been friends forever and they shouldn't let a girl get between them. Especially when Draco got her in the end. "Hey, Blaise" Draco stopped next to him, unsure of what to say next.

Blaise was shook from his revier to someone saying his name. He looked up to see it was not who he had wanted to see, but infact the opposite. "Draco..." He drawled slowly, unsure of what he wanted. He had to be careful. Draco had got her in the end, but Blaise had still hurt his bestfriend. "Was there something you wanted?"

"I want to talk." Draco cleared his throat feeling mighty uncomfortable doing this but knowing that Pansy would reward him later. "About everything that's happened this year." Draco did in fact miss his best friend a lot. They'd been awesome together, ripping on gryffindors and messing with the teachers.

Blaise cleared his throat. He was not good at these conversations AT ALL. In fact he was about as awkward as a turtle. No... A whale. And that was bad. "Yeah... Alot has happened I guess" He said, knowing that his cmtributation to this conversatino would be minimal unless he got his act together. As much as it pained him to think it, he missed Draco. They had been inseperatable. But because of Blaise that all feel to shit. it was worth it, but still.

Draco coughed, "Yeah. Look mate, we both know we're crap at these conversations. Always have been and always will be. So...." Draco stared at the celing then mustered up his courage and looked at Blaise. "Okay. Here we go. Look. We've been friends since before we could talk and we shouldn't let anyone, even Pansy, get between us. Right?"

Blaise coughed, " I know we are terrible at these... Pansy. Ah." Blaise wanted to scream no, that he never wanted to let her go. But he didnt he bit his tongue, "I am sorry... Things got completely out of hand. I just..."

"No, I get it. Neither of us was being remotely reasonable." Draco stood up straight, "Look, I'm sorry about what happened. Can we put it behind us?" He held out his hand.

Blaise eyed Dracso hand warily. He didnt want to take it, but ti was the best offer he had. He grasped Dracos hand tightly and pulled him in close, he eyes boring into Dracos. "Things are going to have to change. You will not treat her like you did before. If I see one hair on her head hurt, you will regret it" He whispered venemously. He let go of Dracos hand harshly and turned to walk away.

Draco watched Blaise walk away. He had expected nothing less, Blaise always had been the protective one. He knew that Blaise wouldn't believe him if he promised but that didn't matter. He pretty much had his friend back at last. Sure it would take time to smooth things out but already everything looked a helluva lot better.
