*Tam wandered down and sat on the end of the dock, wondering where Peter had gotten too.*

Peter walks in, looking for Tam. He found her, as expected, on her dock, wrapped in bandages. He runs towards her.

And--I picked up some stuff for him, or her. *He reveals that the bag contains magical pacifiers, a pack of diapers that clean themselves, two different onesies in unisex colors, and other assorted magical baby items.* I wanted to show you that I really meant it when I said that I was going to be our baby's father. *He looks straight into her eyes*

He smiles, overjoyed at the news. He leans forward, kissing Tam briefly on the lips. There was hope for them, he realized, for him and Tam, and their baby, who was suddenly much more real, now that he had all the toys and clothes for him, and now that he knew that it was a him.
