Duty to the family has been emphasized her entire life; as a Black daughter, she must fulfill this duty or be a traitor to her family. Her older sister Bellatrix is fulfilling her family duty by rising through the ranks of the Dark Lord’s army, while her younger sister Narcissa is already in the process of making a good match for herself. Personality (optional) Narcissa does not let people onto her thoughts easily. She can be caring towards her sisters (mostly Andromeda), but a lot of the time, she tries not to show people her emotions. To her, showing her emotions is showing weakness. She's very good at hiding her feelings. She's stubborn, and will do a lot to protect the things that she loves. She willingly confronts people if she feels crossed by them. She believes what her family has taught her - that she's better than most people because of her lineage. After all, to be a Black meant you were practically royalty.


Likes (optional) She likes ballet, and dance, along with classical music. She likes a lot of refined things resulting from her upbringing. She also loves to shop and find clothes. Creme brulee is one of her favourite desserts and she loves Paris and France on a whole. She loves it when she gets her way, especially when it's something that she's been pushing for.


Dislikes (optional) She hates it when she doesn't get her way, first of all. She's used to Bella and Andi always stealing the show, so she's skilled at manipulating her parents a bit to get what she wants. She hates it when people patronize her, or make her seem stupid, and she will confront them about it if someone does. She's used to being admired. She dislikes being the "protected" sister, and how her sisters seem to think that she's nothing but a pretty face.


Fears/Weaknesses (optional) Narcissa's afraid of being disowned. She knows that it's entirely possible if she just does one thing wrong, and then her entire inheritance and life will go out the window and she'll be left with nothing. She's also afraid of never pleasing enough people, but hardly anyone knows that. She's scared of never finding a husband, though she knows that she will.

Her sisters, Bellatrix and Andromeda, were a huge part of her childhood, as she was always trying to match them or be better than them. Narcissa was taught that to be a Black meant you were better than everyone else. She learned the ways of a pureblood woman - learned how to eat, learned how to dress, and how to charm. Growing up, she always played with her cousins (Sirius and Regulus), along with her sisters. They were close as children, but with Sirius in Gryffindor, things changed. Narcissa is definitely closer to Andromeda than she is to Bellatrix.

Where You're Coming From

Relevant History (past, family etc.) (optional) Trey has grown up rather sheltered in his family home. His parents, strong, opinionated, purebloods, had home schooled both him and his sister, Tracey, up until a year ago. The year before Trey decides to attend Hogwarts, Tracey decides she will go and study her last year of schooling there. While there, she writes home to Trey and urges him to make the same decision she herself has done. As well, she introduces him to Reed Dawson, another young student who would be in the same year as Trey if he should so choose to attend. After having written back and forth a few times with Reed, Trey finally decides he will attend Hogwarts. This decision is not entirely accepted well by his parents, but they eventually agree to let him go. Their main concern was that their son had never before been outside of his home very much - besides family and other pureblood gatherings - and, as such, had never had much interaction at all with other kids his age. His experience of the outside world in general was very limited, and they were worried - as was Tracey - that Trey would not be able to handle taking care of himself away from home. Trey is very determined to prove his family wrong though, and is readily looking forward to the two years at Hogwarts that he will attend.
In terms of family ties, Trey is most closest to his sister, Tracey. Their parents, besides for home schooling, have little time to spend with their two children and, as such, do not have a very strong bond with either of them. Trey's parents believe strongly in their pureblood thoughts, and try hard to convince their children to do the same. Tracey is more geared towards their line of thought, but Trey is not. While he still wants to convince his parents that he is a good son and smart, he does not share their thoughts towards their pureblood lineage. Instead, Trey prefers to treat everyone equally and form his own opinions and views. Due to the fact that he had to spend years hearing about how worthless non-purebloods were though, Trey will occasionally react subconsciously to hearing someone say they're not pureblood - such as if a muggleborn would inform him of his or her blood status, he might flinch away without realizing it at first because his parents continuously would tell him about how muggleborns' were the worst. Afterward he would feel terrible about reacting like that though. And if anyone insults his family around him he will get very annoyed and snappy. If he loses his temper he can get downright vicious if he wants to.
Academically, Trey has always been a strong learner. While studying may not be his most favorite thing in the world, he won't complain about it unless he's in a bad mood. His mother took care of most of his education, including teaching him several musical instruments. Piano is definitely his favorite. Potions was never his strong class and he has a habit of blowing things up quite a bit.

Charismatic. Charming. Sweet tongued. Would much rather solve his problems without violence—or at least, without direct violence. He’s been taught to never get his own hands dirty, and to always use a cat’s paw. Manipulative, and once he knows what he wants, he gets what he wants. Considerably self indulgent, but also has a great sense of responsibility and family honor. He’s often quite apathetic, and finds it difficult to form any kind of emotional attachment.

Nikkolas is the son of a very rich political figure in the Ministry, Leon Nikkolas Diogenes III. His family on both his mother and fathers' side are of Greek descent, and clearly quite proud of it, as displayed through his name. He grew up travelling with his father all over the world, and was trained as a wizard and politician by the best teachers money could buy. His mother died in childbirth, or so he was told, and the only female role model he had was his governess of sorts, who travelled with him until he was eleven and trained him to be a “proper young gentleman.” When he came of age for magical studies, he had several teachers over the years, the most proficient in their subjects.

He’s been raised to follow in his father’s footsteps, and has absolutely no issue with it. Who wouldn’t want to live a life of luxury and power? He understands what’s expected of him and strives to exceed all of it to stay atop of the game. His family has never been directly associated with Death Eaters or the Order of the Phoenix, but they certainly have connections in both ends. There was never a real pureblood supremacist belief hammered into his head by his own father, but he’s been around those sorts of people, and has no issue making such comments if he feels it will improve his relationship with a potential ally. He does not truly believe in any sort of racial prejudice or sexism, though he can fake it if necessary with ease and feels no guilt doing so.

Over time, he’s had few good friends, and his closest companion has been his young uncle, Priam II. Priam was something of an older brother and a father figure to Nikk, whose own father was often busy with his occupation. Priam is an unmarried homosexual, and handles many of the financial affairs of the family.

Until his seventeenth birthday, his father was content to have him schooled by tutors, but for his final NEWT year, he was told it might be best to endure a year at Hogwarts so that he might form connections with some of the professor and peers in the future, and to additionally further any education he might not be able to receive in his fast paced life.

Childhood
Her mother has been gone since she was three, so her 'father' raised her for nearly all of her life. He wasn't her real father, but he was as good as and did everything he could for her. She didn't have many friends as a kid, mostly staying at home and keeping her dad company, learning anything and everything he would teach her.

Her 'father', Bobby, died when she was nine, killed in a duel. She ended up in a 'lost young witches' home, owned by Ms. Zimmer. Though she received a letter from Hogwarts at age eleven, the old woman would not send her. Instead, she home schooled her in their secluded manor with the other girls, prolonging Violet's separation from many other children her own age, as most of the other girls there were much younger or much older, and all kept to themselves or were in cliques so tight they were impenetrable.

It wasn't until she was fifteen that she finally left the home with all her things and found somewhere to live on her own, writing to Hogwarts and figuring out a way that she could attend despite having initially turned down the offer of admission for first year. She began at hogwarts in the sixth year but kept to herself, not used to social situations such as the school created.

It wasn't until the summer between sixth and seventh year that she took a look at things and decided on a new outlook, the playful outgoing one that she has come to embrace now. She finally decided that life was too short and too harsh to waste time hiding alone in the library.

History
Since her mother died or left when she was young, she never really knew her. She never knew her true father either, he was gone before she was born or just shortly afterward. All she has left of her biological parents is a tiny worn picture of them, ripped along one side. It shows a dark headed, sickly-looking woman staring a little sadly at whoever was taking the photo. She held her hands over her stomach as if she were pregnant, but it must have been in the early weeks because a belly wasn't noticeable. Beside her was a fit blonde man, or at least most of him. Half of his face and body had been ripped from the picture. He swayed back and forth slightly as he stood there, sometimes his face out of the frame, sometimes about three fourths of his face entered the photo, but only for a moment before he moved again. It was from him whom she got her hair and looks. He was smiling as if forced to pose for a picture when he had other things he was worrying about instead. Her father's arm was protectively around her mother's shoulders, his hand running up and down her arm comfortingly, though her hands never left her stomach, a self-protective pose in her too-big sweater.

Her 'father' raised her, a young man that her mother had known and lived with for a while, and who was kind enough, and had cared about her mother enough, to take care of Violet once she was left without parents. He refused to ever tell her anything about her real parents, insisting that it was her mother's wish that she didn't need to know who they were, only that they loved her. Apparently it was her mother's fear that the little girl would fall into the prejudices that would come with their names, and told Bobby to give her his last name instead. Growing up with only a father, it led to her being a major tomboy, but completely able to take care of herself. She doesn't let anyone take advantage of her, and though she's quick to make friends at Hogwarts because her years before were so lonely, it takes a lot for her to fully let anyone in. If you don't let them in, they can't really leave you and hurt you, right?

After leaving Ms. Zimmer's, she found a place to live and was befriended by a girl her own age who often visited the cafe nearby. They bonded over a love for tea and drawing, and a need for friendship, and the girl invited Violet over for dinner often. The girl's father was a Death Eater. Intrigued by it, Violet did more 'research' on her own, and eventually showed enough skill and interest to become something of an intern, watching and learning from some of the lower-ranking Death Eaters on occasion. Mostly, she paired up with the son of another Death Eater. The boy was a Death Eater himself, and he taught her everything he knew from dueling to potions to the beliefs of the Death Eaters.

She drank it all in, always wanting to know more and practice more and spend as much time with him as possible to learn as much as possible. Her aspiration is to take the Mark and become a part of something as powerful and driven as that group of wizards seemed to be.

Walden Macnair was born into a reasonably prominent pureblood family. Growing up he was left alone most of the time and was never subjected to much affection from his parents. When he grew older, around his third year at school, his father started grooming him to join the ranks of the Dark Lord. In this Macnair excelled and quickly started working in his free time to better himself. He sought out all types of people to teach him different skills such as knife fighting and hand-to-hand combat. The winter of his sixth year, after his 17th birthday, his father brought him before the Dark Lord and after a gruelling week of tests he was marked on New Year's Eve. For the remained of his sixth year he was rarely called to meetings but in the summer that changed and he started getting sent on missions with senior death eaters to further train him.

Draco had a pretty good childhood despite what most think. Though Lucius was hardly ever going to win the father of the year award he did spend time with his son. Most of their time together was spent training Draco to one day be ready to be the Malfoy patriarch. He was taught from birth to mask his emotions and his father was integral in his raising, after all what self respecting wizard wants his child learning dirty habits from the help. Draco's mother was always affectionate to him, much to Lucius's consternation. Draco enjoyed her affection but from his father's teaching always thought of her as a weak woman. After running away from Hogwarts, she let it grow unchecked for a long time, and has since liked to keep it rather lengthy. 3.0 - Mother Pansy has remained relatively thin, yet still retains her body's shape for dueling, despite the fact she doesn't do much of it anymore apart from practice for fun in the basement of the Manor.

AU - Pansy is pregnant in this world, a couple months along, so she's got the round little belly of motherhood. Despite that she has remained small, though more often than not she looks utterly tired and weary. Her color and a proper weight is returning slowly but surely, thanks to her reunion with Draco and a whole slew of new friends that truly care for her, something that she hasn't experienced before.

On the Inside

Personality
She was the kickass bamf at Hogwarts. She destroyed the Quidditch pitch, several hallways, classrooms, and much of the astronomy tower in various duels, and sent her fair share of peers to the hospital wing to be cared for by Raphael. She has not forgotten her past, though she does try to forget her last few weeks at Hogwarts, where she had lost all value of rules or limits, and did anything and everything she pleased, unforgiveables included.
She has since mellowed considerably, almost to the point that her past self seems a completely different person. As long as she is not angered, and her family is not threatened, it seems likely that the bloodthirsty duelist she once was has been successfully tucked away into her memories, and a woman determined to be better than that has emerged.

3.0 - She's playful and mischievous and gets along grandly with Scorpius, the two of them often teaming up to get what they want from Draco. She's a great mother, organized, authoritative enough without being overbearing, and she does all she can to give Scorpius all the opportunities that she and Draco were denied as children.

AU - She's worn out, weary, and ridden with guilt, though slowly it is all being washed away. The last weeks at Hogwarts, end of her marriage, running away to Pigfarts, the mess that happened there, and showing up pregnant on Draco's doorstep some time later has worn her down and killed some of the spunk that she used to possess. With time and care, she is returning to a more energetic and happy person, and the excitement over the baby and love from Draco has helped immensely. Her old self shines through from time to time if Draco tells her to do something she doesn't want to do, or if she's just got those pregnancy hormones raging and putting her into a bad mood. Don't cross her path on those days, and hide her wand if you can.

While there, she fell for him, and became pregnant. He vowed to marry her and that they would be a proper family, however that did not happen. Distressed with nowhere to turn, she left Mars as soon as she was told it would be safe for her to travel while with child, and came back to earth. She could not return home, for her parents had disowned her after the marriage with Draco was ruined. She could not go to her friends for fear of horrible embarrassment, but she did manage to find Blaise a few weeks later and inquire where Draco was. She was the informed further by Narcissa where to find him, and showed up on Draco's doorstep not long after in Paris, France, as he left for work at his popular cafe. She eventually told him about the baby and he offered her a place to stay until she was back on her feet, however as time went on they realized that they still did truly love one another, and she has remained with him for an indefinite amount of time, working in the cafe with him as they prepare for the arrival of a daughter.

When the house settled on Slytherin, Al didn’t fight it after hearing what his father had told him about one of the headmasters of Hogwarts. Victoire grew up with her siblings, her father Bill and her mother Fleur at Shell Cottage. A lot of her traits she learnt from her mother, especially those to do with her Veela blood. She had a fairly regular childhood (as regular you can when you’re a Weasley), but as she grew up she began to dislike the size (and the noise and fuss) of her extended family, using schoolwork or boys as excuses to skip family gatherings. She much prefers to spend time with the French side of her family, and when she started Hogwarts for her third year she adopted the hyphenated name she always uses now (although she is still only a Weasley by name).
Throughout her years at Hogwarts, she was occasionally mocked for being a Weasley, especially by her fellow Slytherins, but she quickly developed a thick skin in respect to this, and a tendency to hurt anyone who insulted her name and family. Despite this, she has never had a detention.
