Re: The Gazebo
Jenna is a little surprised when Miela comes up to her and starts talking, she's happy, but it catches her off guard and she ends up doing that little panic jumpy thing. "Oh! Miela, sorry, you surprised me. How are you?" Jenna realizes that it's been a while and feels guilty, but doesn't mention it because she doesn't want to draw attention to the situation.
Re: The Gazebo
Miela laughs as Jenna did a panicky little dance, and replied "Sorry! Didn't mean to scare you, I am still trying to get used to walking around with some sound so I don't scare the living daylights out of someone. I am great, it's a great day out, and no homework, what isn't there to like? What about you?"
Re: The Gazebo
Jenna grinned, "You're right, what isn't there to like? And I was a bit distracted watching the Giant Squid being awesome, it's quite consuming. I'm good too. I'm having a good day today, no Potions!" A day without Potions was always a good day in Jenna's book, well unless something really tragic happened like, her broom malfunctioning. Don't laugh! It would be a disaster, and Jenna might die if she goes more than 24 hours without flying.
Re: The Gazebo
Miela nodded, she understood how time-consuming it was to watch the Giant Squid move around as it lurks underneath the waters and wait to splash at unsuspecting first years. And also how no Potions would be a good thing. Miela loves Potions, but hates how time-consuming it could get [aka Pottemore >.>]
"Which reminds me," Miela said, "Why aren't you out on the pitch? I had half-expected you to be there instead."
Truth be told, Miela had went to the Quidditch pitch first before slinking around, but she wasn't about to let Jenna know that in case Jenna thinks she was weird and was stalking her. Which she isn't. She just wants someone else to talk to instead of herself.

Re: The Gazebo
"Oh! That's an easy question. Practice ended about an hour ago and I'm going back for a few hours after dinner to work on some beating tactics." Forget about it being a good day. It was an AWESOME day.

Re: The Gazebo
Miela grinned, that would explain why Jenna was here instead of being on the pitch.
“I have been thinking of trying out for my Qudditch Team as well, but I am not sure if there is try out going on or if the team have already been selected. I wouldn’t go for beater though, no offence, but I am not exactly suited for it. I think that if I do hit the buldger, I might get rebounded off course myself!”
Standing at 5ft3, Miela is much shorter and smaller compared to other students, not to mention the Beaters in other Houses.

Re: The Gazebo
No worries in the height department, Jenna's only 5'4" so she can relate.
But it's not about your size, it's about the speed, strength and accuracy with which you can whack the bludger with your bat.
"You should try out! Quidditch is the best thing in the entire world. And you should definitely do it, even if it means we'll be competing against each other." Jenna is very enthusiastic and isn't going to give up this idea anytime in the near future.

Re: The Gazebo
Miela giggled, as she thought of herself in a bulky beater’s outfit. But she realized that watching Jenna play, it was true that size didn’t really matter.
“I would like to try out for Chaser though, seeing how I always find a desperate need to be moving around and fidgeting.” A bad habit for a ninja, but one Miela found hard to get rid of nonetheless. “It seems more like my style, seeing how a Chaser always needs to move around with the Quaffle.” See noticed a glint in Jenna’s eye and realized that this girl wasn’t going to give this topic up for a while. But Miela was fine with it, as she really did wanted to try out, but never got the courage or the will to go find where her House team was. [Don’t think we have one though >.<]

Re: The Gazebo
Jenna thought for a moment, and the more she thought about it, the more Miela seemed like a Chaser-type person. "I don't care what position it is as long as you discover the joy and happiness and all that is good in this world, I'm satisfied. And even if you don't make the team, we can still play together in our free time."
Re: The Gazebo
Smiling, Miela nodded, happy that she now has a new Qudditch partner, and made up her mind to go find where her team was and try out. Even if she didn’t make the team this year, practising with Jenna might improve her skills and she could try out again next year.
“Honestly though, I have never been on a broom stick except for the flying classes I was taking this year, and it was really fun, it felt so free, being in the air, and when you are up there, everything else just doesn’t seem to matter. It feels like you can outrun your troubles by a good mile.”

Re: The Gazebo
Jenna feels the same way about flying, and she's so happy that someone else feels that way too.
"I feel the same way, I could fly before I could run. My first word was 'Quidditch'. I was raised on it, I can't imagine my life without it, and when I don't fly, my entire day is so much worse. It isn't just a sport, it's a way of expression, I mean, the different show tricks that you learn really say a lot about your personal flying style and flair."

Re: The Gazebo
Miela nodded slowly. She had seen some of the practises, and realized that what happens on air usually translates to what each individual is like. Some like to do loops to avoid their opponents and when on land, they would usually do a turn loop just to avoid bumping into people. It was pretty fun making these sorts of links to people, and Miela wondered how she was like on air.
“It’s sort of like your drug then?” Miela said easily and laughed. Rice-balls were her drug, and if she didn’t have rice or noodles with her meal, it just didn’t seem right.

Re: The Gazebo
"It's not my drug, it's my life. I can barely remember a time when I didn't fly. It's what I was raised on, and it's what I'm meant to do." Jenna could never imagine ever doing anything else. She just wanted to play Quidditch, always had, and always would. It was a lifestyle to her, it wasn't something that she could just stop.
Re: The Gazebo
“I guess I understand, it’s something you are born with, something which lives, breathes, and grows inside you, and it’s not something you can just push away.” Miela never had anything before coming to Hogwarts, but after these few weeks, she is beginning to understand a little more and more each day, and knows that there are just some stuff that one cannot not do, because it’s literally their life.
Re: The Gazebo
[I REFUSE TO POST IN HOGSMEADE BECACUSE THIS IS MORE ROMANTIC!]
Gwen walked across the grounds, it was a peaceful night, if a cold one at that. Gwen was happy that she'd worn a jacket. She wandered over to an old looking gazebo that had a lovely view of the Great Lake. She sat down on one of the benches and just sat there, and thought. She let her mind drift, she thought of the lovely night. She thought of the upcoming winter, and how it was so cold that she could no longer hear the crickets chirping at night. And (as cheesy as it is) she thought of Fred. And what he might say, were he here right now.

Re: The Gazebo
"Bonne nuit, Gwen!" Fred called out from the spot in the grass where he just so happened to be lying. No, he did not follow Gwen out of her common room, through the halls, down the steps, and out here. No way. "Isn't it a bit late for a lovely young lady such as yourself to be out alone?"

Re: The Gazebo
"Freddie! What are you doing here?" Gwen smiled and jumped up from her seat on the stone bench in the gazebo and ran right over to where that adorable freckled face under a mop of red hair so red, that it made it almost impossible for him to sneak past Gwen. She sort of jumped onto Fred and gave him one of the biggest hugs that the world has ever seen. And she planted a little kiss on his lips for good measure.
Re: The Gazebo
Fred let out a small 'oof' when Gwen reached him, but then smiled. "Ask me no secrets, I'll tell you no lies, love." He said, his grin infectious. "But, I was thinking, we could either sit here in the dew-covered grass and freeze, murder a certain 13 year old with an axe, or sneak into Hogsmeade. What do you think?"

Re: The Gazebo
[Sorry, I was IMing my friend Jenna, yes the one that Jenna Wood is named after. HAHA. I mean, I didn't steal a name from one of my best friends, WHAA?]
Gwen smiled one of those extra warm smiles that she only ever bestowed on Fred. "Hmm" Gwen thought out loud, "Well, if we stay here and freeze, it's more romantic and we can cuddle. But if we go to Hogsmeade we'll be warm, but I don't know if there's a good place for snuggling there." Choices, choices.
