Meridith looked around and say everyone gone. "Well, gotta love Slytherins, not the funnest, or the smoothest....I thought they were supposed to be all uptight tight and broody! Well, Mum and Dad were wrong..." Meridith pulls out a cat from it's carrier. "Well, Mr. Bigglesworth Von Fluff.....guess we're alone.....CONJUNCTION WHAT"S YOUR FUNCTION?!??! Well, now that that's out of my system....." Meridith flopped on her bed and began to draw.

Meridith looks up from her drawing."Oh! Hello. Meridith Lombardy. I am the daughter of a lesser known pureblood family. I am originally from the U.S, so not many people know us." Meridith laughed and pointed to her cat. "That is Mr. Bigglesworth Von Fluff, the sole heir of the Von Fluff family fortune. It consists of a can of tuna and a bed near the heater." Meridith looked back at her drawing, she sighed and put her hand to her cheek. "Hey, does this look like a Veela to you?" Meridith holds up her picture and sighs, the beautiful woman on the paper smiling and fixing her hair in the mirror in her hand.

Wow.......you're a wonderful artist! I approve! I wish I could draw like that......all my doodles end up looking like stick people with huge eyes. *laughs* I prefer writing, myself.

I love to draw. I never get enough time to do it anymore.

But I can only draw anime style girls. I can't do men, animals, backgrounds or objects. And I still have a lot to work on.

*sigh* If only you guys could see my drawings...

Meridith laughed and started to add small details to the image before signing it. "Thanks, and I have a sister back in the states who is writing a novel! Last time I checked she had around eight or nine chapters done." Meridith tucked the picture into a file folder and tapped the front of the folder, locking it shut. "So, what do we do for fun around here?" Meridith looked over to Mr. Bigglesworth Von Fluff and blinked her eyes slowly, to which the cat blinked back just as slow. "That is actually how you say 'I Love You' to a cat, you just blink really slow." Meridith looked at the girls. "Oh! I never got your names! I only got Astoria's."

Narcissa peered into the doorway of the Girls' Dormitory, having been eavesdropping on the conversation for some time, waiting for the prime time to introduce herself.
"Are we saying names now? Good. I'm Narcissa, and as far as having fun goes, I generally find this place to be rather dull." Narcissa's eyes caught the cat just then, and her pale face seemed to shift dramatically. Her eyes gleamed with delight as she bent over the cat. "Oh, is this yours?! I only have an owl, but I'd die for a cat! He's simply adorable!" She grinned and looked up at Meridith. "What's his name?"

) but yeah!! It was my first anime/manga, and I still love the characters. Especially Obito. I loveee him]

Meridith jumped when Narcissa entered the room and grinned at her when she fawned over the cat. "Oh, um. Hi? And that is Mr. Bigglesworth Von Fluff, named after the best movie ever!" Meridith clears her throat and does an Austin Powers immatation. "It's Austin Powers, baby!" She looked at Drammy's picture and smiled. "It's nice."

@Drammy: MY THOUGHTS EXACTLY. *sighs* If only it were this easy with real rooming assignments...]

Narcissa looked at her two new roomates with gratitude. Up to this point, she had never really had any dorm mates she felt comfortable with. Well, besides Bella, that was. She quickly masked the grateful expression, however, and smiled without much depth. "I thought it had sounded familiar. I've heard of Austin Powers before, but I've never seen it... It is a movie, right?" Narcissa sat on her bed and pulled off her shoes and socks, loving the feeling of being barefoot.

EDIT: [@Daphne: I think you're in Dorm 3... ^-^]
