hey guys i am working my way through various versions of beauty and the beast as a bit on a personal project. any one read any good versions?

i have read:
beauty and the beast [(the second original) i.e. the one most people know as the original but is actually a shorter version of the real original]
Beastly
Belle (from the once upon a time series)
Beauty

and i am currently reading Rose Daughter

A really good one is Fire Rose by Mercedes Lackey. It kind of a prequel for her "Elemental Master" series, which is a retelling of all the fairy tales. In that series she's got Sleeping Beauty, Puss in Boots, Snow White, Cinderella, and one that i can't place for the life of me...you should definitely check her out. She also has a retelling of The Firebird, and The Swan Princess (Swan Lake). i LOVE her stories
