You say not to call you "Flower"
but how could I ever think of it?
Your beauty surpasses that of a flower.
I would call you
Pansy-Star
Pansy-Sky
Pansy-Moon
but your name means none of these.
And so I say
Pansy-Flower
for you are an exquisite flower to me.
I will write my own language
in which
Pansy
will mean
Beauty.
And yet it is your strength
that I love most.
The fierce line of your wand
inflicting pain
A flash of color
An incantation yelled in fury
serves a double purpose.
