Ok so this thread will probably have zero interest to anyone except me, PPan and maybe AJ, but given that PPan and I discovered we have similar taste in the 'in your pants' game, I thought I'd throw this out there.

Anyone else LOVE the Aussie rock from the 80s?

My favourite is Cold Chisel/Jimmy Barnes, but I also love Midnight Oil, and don't mind Hunters & Collectors too -Throw Your Arms Around Me is my FAVOURITE song ever...

And of course there's INXS and AC/DC who were working the Australian pub circuit 30-odd years ago, but I think they have more of a global reputation as well...

And I'm not the hugest Skyhooks fan, but that song always makes me giggle. As does 'are you old enough?' by Dragon.


Oooh and I just remembered the Choirboys! Run To Paradise! Haven't heard that in forever and I nearly did a happy dance when it came on the radio the other day!
