Reagan's Hidden Alcove

[A place to go when you feel like annoying Reagan (or having some time to yourself because, obviously, he won't be here all the time)~ ^-^]

Reagan slipped quietly into the hollowed space. A ledge jutted out from the wall, a foot or so in width, running the length of the alcove; he placed his bag here. It was a nice, quiet place for him to think. To not search would be to miss the area completely.

He settled onto the ledge, flipping open his satchel and removing a quill and ink along with a sketch pad. Cracking apart the crisp pieces of parchment, he brushed off the first few pages in favor of an unfinished portrait. Reagan dipped the tip of his quill in the ink and set to work, a flash of silver glinting in the dim light.

Nott was wondering around the hallways aimlessly, bored. When walking down one hallway, she thought she heard a small noise. Curiously, she started poking her head around, hoping she didn't find something weird. She looked into an alcove and saw someone sitting here with ink and things. "Oh!" She exclaimed. "Hey, sorry. I thought I heard something."

Reagan glanced up, startled slightly. "Oh, hi. You probably heard my quill; you must have really sharp ears." He smiled, capping the ink so it wouldn't spill all over his robes. Placing the vial to the side, he made room for her in the hollow. "What were you doing wandering down this hallway, anyway; it's pretty deserted." He asked curiously.

Stepping inside the alcove, she shrugged. "I'm bored. There was no one in the Common Room so I was just wandering around. You're hiding in an alcove?"

"Yeah. They're pretty much the quietest places in the school; besides the library, of course. But you can never be too sure." He grinned. He waved an arm lazily, the flash of silver returning. "It's easier to concentrate here, in my opinion. It's also great for people-watching."

[Megan Nott]

"Oh?" She questioned, watching him curiously. "And how is that? Do you mind if I sit down? I'm Nott, by the way."

"Go ahead and sit," He replied, "I'm Reagan, it's a pleasure to meet you." He seemed to think for a moment, summoning the best answer to her question. "Well, when nobody knows you're there sometimes they talk to themselves or do something they otherwise wouldn't. This may sound snoopy, but you can often get dirt on people." He answered finally, tilting his head to the side.

[Godzilla has returned~ I was wondering when she'd show up~ I've gotta go (either that or be mauled) but I'll be on tomorrow morning for a little while, if you're interested~]

"It does sound snoopy." Nott admitted with a smile, sitting down. "But it makes sense, no worries."
