The Mortal Instruments Series Empty The Mortal Instruments Series

Not to be confused with the Immortal Instruments.

They are the City of Bones/Ashes/Glass books and really addictive (aren't all books???). Based around these people with angel blood who work to defeat demons and keep the vampires and werewolves and stuff in line. The plot is a teany bit predictable, but the characters are amazing. Everybody should all go read them. Now.

haha yea ditto. They just get way too gripping way too soon, and next thing you know, real life calls and there is a stack of homework to do.

I read the first one about a month ago, but I haven't gotten time to get the next one. I really liked it. Though, there were a few parts where my reaction was along the lines of, "Wha? What the hell?!" Then I kept reading. XD

haha you should definitely feep reading them, the second one has a few patches that are plain annoying, but to be honest, Jace's character is so awesome it doesn't matter what the plot is doing.

I was on one of my book OCD trips and where I wish I owned all my books in paperback, so I read the back of the paperback City of Glass. It says it has a sneak peek of the fourth book and something about the prequels.

Yeah, that's the downside. Three worked well: Three mortal instruments, three books. Plus, she pretty much wrapped the whole thing up in the third. I really hope this doesn't ruin them.
The prequel is a good idea though, Ginny says she's heard its from Magnus' POV, which should be fun, he's hilarious. I was kinda hoping it might have been the uprising from Jocelyn's POV, though.

Yea i know what you mean. i hope it doesn't ruin the series. but the prequels could be really interesting! i haven't looked at the stuff that's in city of glass yet, but i will soon!
