[We didn't really see much of Parkinson at all in the books, but at least we knew she existed. Did she make up Astoria after the books were finished? Because I have no recollection of hearing about her before DH.]

[Pansy was only around to make fun of Hermione or stroke Draco's ego, really. Astoria was never mentioned in the books as far as I recall. Just Daphne.
I think she was created just because Jo had bully issues and hated Pansy and wanted to be all like, "Take this bitch! The one you're supposed to be with is gonna marry someone nobody's ever heard of! What now?" Anger issues, Jo. Anger issues.]

And yeah. I think Jo liked torturing us in that last book. I mean, look at all the people she killed off?? What purpose was there in killing Hedwig? Fred? Tonks? Remus? Snape? Dobby? EVIL WOMAN, EVIL.
And that epilogue was terrible. I like to ignore it.]
