He smiles at Hashbee and cuddles the baby while leaning slightly back into Hermione's hands as she rubs his back. "Well...it's probably just the stress from the past couple of weeks catching up to me and now the whole research thing on werewolf families..."

He sighs. "Nope. Plenty of interesting info for other things about them but nothing for what we're looking for." He won't let the lack of hope he has get to him, not yet anyways. There was also the fact that he knew how werewolves were treated in general and how they were looked upon by other people, especially from the Ministry. That did nothing to make him feel better.

Maybe... maybe we should just let it go? I mean, I'm starting to feel like even if we do come across something, I don't know if I'd even trust the source anyway... You know most of what's printed about werewolves is total rubbish anyway...

Let it go? I don't think I'll ever be able to let it go...but I can try if that is what you want, it won't be easy and will probably always bother me but if you really want to let it go I'll try.

"Well...that is true." Once again he wished that he knew more werewolves, even just one, personally that he could ask these sort of questions to. It would be a big help.

"I know love. I just...don't think my fear of passing on my condition will ever just disappear. Even if we let it go it's still going to be there. I wish I knew other werewolves personally that I could ask these questions to." He looked down at Hashbee and smiled a little while waving the baby's hand around playfully. "I want our children to be happy and healthy like Hashbee."

I know, honey. I don't expect you to stop thinking about it, I know you can't just flick a switch in your mind and turn off the worrying. What I'm trying to say is that nobody ever really knows for sure - there's so much out of out control and there would be even if you weren't a werewolf. And maybe we should try and keep in mind the things we do have a say in. Like the fact that our family will be well-loved, will be happy... and if it turns out that they are like you, then they'll be very lucky to have a father who can understand and help them through, help give them the best life possible.

A lump formed in his throat as she spoke and he blinked furiously to keep from tearing up. What she was saying meant a great deal to him and he knew she was right. He just had to keep thinking positively.
He turned towards her and, while holding Hashbee in his arm carefully off to the side, kissed her hard pouring his love for her into it.
"I think I'm going to go for a walk for a bit." He handed the baby back to her gently before getting up and walking back towards the castle.

*She's a little shocked when he turns and kisses her, when he hands the baby back to her, but she sees the look in his eyes and knows he needs a while to digest it all. Watching him walk back towards the castle, she can only hope she said the right thing. She looks back down at Hashbee and smiles.*

Well, I don't know where your Mummy is, but I'm sure she'll be back for you soon, gorgeous man, and then - oh EW! Uncle Remus could've at least cleaned you up before he ran off, couldn't he?

*She shifts around until she can reach her wand and vanishes the contents of his nappy, while he blinks up at her, sleepy and innocent.*
