"Well, he.. brought stuff up" Cormac grunted and sat up thinking about what Gellert had said about him liking Reg. "Of couse I'm hurt. Idiot. He used the Cruciatus Curse on me." Cormac winced at a random jab of pain.

Regulus promptly fell off the bed, yelped, and jumped to his feet again. "He- he used an Unforgivable? He- he used the Cruci- oh, Merlin, Cormac-" Regulus turns green and fears he may puke, but tries to remain calm and sits down beside him with his head in his hands. "I don't really think there's a treatment for that, Cormac. Do you need me to do anything? Get you anything? I just- you punched Gellert, and I'M the idiot? What were- you- nothing he says is worth getting yourself hurt over."

Cormac laughed and then clutched his stomach. The pain was slowly starting to get better. "I threw my wand over there when I tried to use the cruciatus curse in him." Cormac pointed to the corner of the dark room. "All I need after that is company."

Regulus sighed, rendered speechless by what has just happened. He sits beside Cormac and stares at him in disbelief. "You're a right idiot, you know that, right? Honestly, sometimes I wonder why you're not a Puff..." He smiled slightly and leaned down to hug him briefly. "I'm sorry, Cormac. I didn't want you to get hurt."

Cormac hugged Reg back and grunted, "Fuck Reg, I'm injured remember?" He lay back. "Puff.. me? God maybe you are dumb." Cormac smirked.

Regulus tried to smile but looks concerned for him. "Hush. Call me dumb when you're not grunting in pain. It can wait until then," he said, standing up and handing Cormac a glass of water, trying not to feel quite so useless. "He's vile. He's evil and cruel and horrible, Cormac. Why, why did you have to piss him off? This is nothing, compared to what he could have done to you."

"Oh c'mon Reg, lighten up, stop talking 'bout Gellert." Cormac smiled and lightly punched him in the arm. He took a sip of water.

Regulus sighed and tried to ignore it, if that's what he wanted. "Fine. What do you want to talk about, then? The weather? Quidditch? Rubber ducks?"

"Wow, really, the weather Reg? I've just been cursed for god's sake !" Cormac smirked. He enjoyed teasing Reg.

Regulus rolled his eyes and smiled lightly, glad to see him joking around, instead of being awkward around him- it was nice, to have him back, almost. "Fine then, you pick a topic. All I can think of to talk about is the weather, rubber ducks, and sex! I'm all out of ideas, dammit, and something tells me none of those are particularly good conversation topics."

Cormac smiled. Sam smiled. "As tempted as I am I do NOT want to hear about your sex life." Cormac laughed. "Hmm.. There were once three brothers who were travelling along a lonely, winding road at twilight." Cormac said randomly reciting his favourite fairy tale.

Regulus groaned and face palmed. "Cormac, I refuse to sit here and listen to the Bard's tales. I fear we may have to turn to my sex life for entertainment, because fairy tales is just- I can't even fathom how bored I would have to be to sit through this. So, either we think of something else to talk about, or I'll start talking about that one time in the cove in the lake underwater-" Regulus breaks off, bright red in the face and laughing hysterically. "Sorry. Just needed to see that facial expression. So worth it. Though, to be fair, I wasn't kidding. Underwater is FUN." Regulus may have to kill himself for that, but he's determined to distract Cormac, and that was the only thing he could think of, after all.

Cormac turned as red as a quaffle (YAY) and started scratching the back of his head. "Nice to know Reg." Cormac let out an awkward grunt because he was uncomfortable.

"Isn't it, though? Well, since you're just sitting there grunting, I'm assuming you have no problem with me continuing, and you know, I never do pass up a chance to talk about Viktor. Would you like me to go into further detail? It's quite the tale, really- I think we may have scarred those poor fish for life, not to mention the Giant Squid, if he happened to be looking in our general direction. Then again, maybe the Squid's into that kind of thing, you can't really rule that out. I mean, who's to say that Giant Squids don't like that kind of thing? Either way, I'm sure he got the shock of a lifetime, and I imagine his face would look rather like yours right now," he said, before falling off the bed due to the immensity of his laughter.

[PAUSED.]
