Mitsuki skipped down to the lake and sighed. It was a lovely day out! These grounds were definitely not like the ones at her old school. She sat down carefully on the grass, crossing her legs out in front of her, and leaned back on her hands to look out over the lake.

Stopping singing for a little, Padma spotted a new girl and skipped up to her. "Hi!" she said chirpily. "I'm Padma!"

Mitsuki smiled brightly at the girl. "Konnichiwa! I'm Mitsuki!"

"Nice to meet you, Mitsuki! You speak Japanese?" she asked.

"Hai! I'm a transfer student from a magic school located in the moutains in southern Japan." She grinned and leaned forward, placing her elbows on her knees. "Today's my first day!"

"That's so cool!" Padma exclaimed. "Well, welcome to Hogwarts! I'm sure you'll love it here."

"Thanks! You're the first person I've really met. Everyone was busy in the common room so I just sort of skipped out." She smiled, sure that she would be able to meet more people in her house soon.

She smiled, glad she also had made a new friend. Looking around, she said, "Oh! I'm really sorry, but I've gotta go... I hope I see you soon!"

Layla comes down to the lake, feeling downhearted. It's never taken this long for her to make friends. She checked in on the party that was suppose to be happening, but saw only a few people there. She comes down to the lake and spots another girl. "Hey!"
