"Yes, that would make a lot of sense," he agrees while wrapping an arm around her. "I mean, I wouldn't be surprised if he was up there right now like that. Onesies, stuffed animal, sucking his thumb. Oh, and I'm sure he also has a nightlight. He probably is afraid of the dark and monsters under his bed."

"Monsters lurking in his closet probably freak him out the most. I bet Penny knows all these things are true, but she's going to protect her brother's dignity. Could you imagine how crushed he would be?" Faye shook her head and kissed him on the cheek, "I should head up to bed, you know. Do you think there are monsters waiting for me?"

"Aw, thanks, I'm pleased to hear it," she glances over to the stairs, "Well, I should go now," she yawns and turns to look over at him, "Want to walk me to the stairs or should I leave and face the monsters without a proper goodbye?"

"No, I'll walk you," he says smiling while standing up. He thinks to himself how it has been ages since the bid each other goodnight this way after spending time in the common room together. Holding his hand out for her, he gently helps her up from the couch, then continues to hold her hand as they make their way over to the stairs. "I'll see you tomorrow," he says softly once they stop walking. He places a gentle kiss on her lips, refraining from deepening the kiss because of Flint and Penny in the room.

He smiled and stood up. "I'm pretty tired from quidditch this morning, I'm gonna turn in." He leans over kisses her and walks off to his dorm. "Night Penny!"

[Sorry, I just realized I have a final in 6.5 hours and I should prob. Get some sleep! Night!!!]

Faye realizes that it has, indeed, been awhile since they did this routine walking over to the stairs and saying goodnight to one another. Fortunately, she never actually tired of it and was glad to welcome its return. She takes his hand as he helps her from the couch and walks with him over to the stairs. For some reason, she always found herself wishing the walk was longer or that it was possible to walk slower. She sighed and stood on the first step, like always, and lightly pressed her lips back against his. As much as she wanted to, she stopped from pushing the kiss further like they had in the past because that would be awkward in front of Penny, since Marcus left. She pulls herself away and smiles, "Goodnight...I'll see you tomorrow," she whispers and turns to head up the stairs. When she makes it halfway up, she turns and waves one last time, before disappearing into her dorm.

He smiles as she walks up the stairs, then turns to give him a small wave. He glances around the now empty common room, because Penny left too. He heads up to his dorm as well, because Dom is sleepy as well. In fact, she is so sleepy, that she doesn't care that her post is only three sentences while Fleur posted a paragraph. Usually Dom feels the need to post a nice response because shes doesn't want to be a lamesauce, but tonight she's too tired to care.

Tracey groaned as she walked into the Slytherin common room. She was getting sick of this whole not having anyone interesting to speak to. Everyone in her classes, which were usually full of mudbloods, spoke so monotone and boring. She looked at a nice arm chair and plopped down, pushing at her long black hair.
