"Why thank you my dear," Lee stood up and gave her a soft kiss, tasting the chocolate and banana on her lips. "I'll be right back" He walked over to the counter to pay.

Teddy lead Victoire into the Ice Cream Parlour and up to the counter where he peered through the plastic at the various kinds of icecream they had, scanning for the very best icecream that anyone ever invented. He quickly found it and pointed at it, saying, "Doesn't it just look amazing?"

Vic rolled her eyes and laughed. "Um sure. But--," she gently turned his head towards her favorite ice cream. "Take a look at that."

"Mmm." He said, "While, I can see there is only one way to solve this." He asked the guy on the other side of the counter for two cones and handed on to Victoire, paying with some change he pulled out of his pocket. He turned and, after making sure she was behind him, walked outside to a table and sat down.

Victoire walked over and sat across from Teddy. "I feel bad. You're going to be so embarrassed when you see that you're wrong, and that my ice cream choice is way better."

Teddy laughed, holding out his icecream. "Try some of this. It's the best," he said lightly, with a small shrug.

Teddy laughed, leaning in to try her icecream. "It's pretty good...." he said grudgingly, then he smiled. "And you have icecream on your nose."

Teddy laughed and reached across the table to wipe the icecream of Victoire's nose with his thumb. He smiled and licked his fingers, "It actually is pretty good."

"Really?" he said, his eyes lighting up even thought that is a sickeningly over-used phrase. "I knew it." He smiled, "You're better at chess, I'm better at picking out icecream. Well, there has to be balance in relationships."
