He laughed, "It's always kinda bugged me. Like an annoying buzz in the back of your head. I'm afraid I won't rest until I get an answer."

"I wonder if there is an answer. Despite the obvious, that is." He added with a teasing look in her direction.

She grinned. "Maybe there isn't. Maybe that question was created to drive people like you crazy because they can't figure out the answer."

"Oh nothing...You know, you sure do think a lot-- for a Gryffindor," she said with a wink.

"Gryffindors think alot- just usually after they act. And it's not as effective then." He smiled

She giggled. "I would think not. You should take some tips from me, be more Ravenclaw-like."

He laughed, "I think I'll stick to the Gryffindor ways. It's a good excuse after you've done something. 'Oh, what? I insulted you? Sorry, I'm a Gryffindor.'"

She laughed. "Okay, but what about after Hogwarts? What'll be your excuse then?"

Frank walks with Alice into the Ice Cream Parlour...because it is so much cooler to go here then the Three Broomsticks. He glances at the counter where the ice cream sits, running through the options. "Err... what are you thinking? Anything sound good Alice?" he asks her while looking back at her.

"I like rocky road, cookie dough, and mint with chocolate sauce, whipped cream, chocolate chips, peanuts, sprinkles, and a ton of other shit," she shrugs. "I tend to go a bit over the top with my ice cream. "Maybe I'll tone it down a bit," she says, scanning the more boring flavors.

"No, why settle for something boring?" he asks while giving her hand a slight squeeze, because they are totally holding hands. Yep yep. "Sir, could you make a sundae with all the things she just listed?" he asks the server behind the counter. "Actually, make that two sundaes," he adds. He waits for the server to finish, then releases Alice's hand to pay and grab the sundaes. He leads them over to one of the empty tables. "Hope this is good," he says while making sure the table isn't all yucky with melted ice cream and sprinkles.

"It is to me," she said giggling. "But I remind you, I have weird taste." Alice takes a bite, hoping she doesn't act like a pig. When she eats these at home, there's no one but Gid, Fay, and Molly to judge her. And they don't really care. She decides to eat daintier than she normally does, not wanting to embarrass herself. "So... you like it?" she asks as she watches him take a bite. "It's a little much, I suppose. Thank Merlin I have a high metabolism."

"No, it's really good," he grins as he takes a bite of his sundae. "Much better than what I usually get, soft vanilla with sprinkles. I like all the different things in this one. The variety makes it nice," he says while taking a spoonful. "So, tell me more about your rather...large family," he says. "I'm sure things get kind of crazy during the summers."

Alice grins and takes another bite. "Yep, the Prewett household gets pretty insane. All hell breaks loose. There's always something being blown up, may it be a room, or a tree, or whatever."

"Jeez," he says, trying to picture it. Being an only child though, he can't imagine how crazy it can be. "I'm guessing your mum constantly has a First Aid kit on hand then," he says with a small laugh. "I remember a time when I used to carry one around with me everywhere I went because I'm so clumsy."

Re: The Ice Cream Parlour
Alice giggles, imagining a young Frank carrying around a giant orange first aid kit, like the one on iCarly, because I was watching that the other day. "Nice. But my sister Molly was always the mother figure. She was the one who made us snacks, and made us put on sweaters before we went outside, that sort of thing. That doesn't stop her from having quirks of her own, though."

Re: The Ice Cream Parlour
Frank thinks for a moment of how nice it would be to have an older sister. Hell, even an older brother. He makes a mental note that when he has kids, to make sure he gives them siblings. "That must be nice to have her. What kind of quirks though? I'm guessing good ones," he muses.

Re: The Ice Cream Parlour
Alice is hoping that she and Frank don't end up in St. Mungo's because they lost their minds before having more than one child, because they will get married, they will. JKR said so. "Yes, they are good quirks," she says with a smirk, not wanting to delve to much into the Special Cookie matter.

Frank will cry if they only have one child. That is... if he is aware that they have children. "Ahh, I see," he responds with a small smile then taking a bite of his ice cream. "Something tells me that I don't quite want to know. How's your ice cream?" he asks.
