"Hello there," he says, pumping her hand enigmatically, "it's so nice to meet you, I'm Ernie, Ernie Macimillian, in case you were wondering."

He laughs pompously because that's the only way he knows how to laugh, "I speak fluent French, in fact, I speak four different languages. I spend a lot of time learning and studying them, of course."

Rose got up on her toes and kissed Louis after taking a long drink. Man, that punch was good. She pressed closer to him, because I promised myself right there and then that I would make it difficult for Louis NOT to take advantage of Rose. Because... I'm a bitch. What can I say. She shoved her drink into the hands of some random passing Hufflepuff, and pulled Louis closer, not even listening to the music anymore.

Louis stumbled backwards as Rose kissed him, rather roughly. He kept his hand at the small of her back, deepening their kiss, but he didn't push her to do anything. He wasn't one of those people who pressured anyone or did things to them when they couldn't think properly, despite what he let Dom think. After they had been kissing for a long while, Louis reluctantly pulled away, one hand rising to stroke her cheek, "Rose, you're acting quite beside yourself..." He chuckled and twirled her around before pulling her back to his arms to dance some more. He truly loved being in Rose's presence, but he worried about her being drunk.

Rose giggled and looked around for her drink. Not finding it, she took one from someone else and down the last bit at the bottom. Good stuff. Man was she going to be hungover in the morning. I know because I've already started the morning scene. And it wont' make Louis happy. Nope nope nope. BUT ANYWAYS. Rose danced closer to Louis than was probably normal for her, but... whatever. "Love you," she mumbled, blissfully ignoring the fact that it was the first time she had said that, and she was drunk.

"Wha-what?" Louis looked down at her, unsure of what to say. Since she was drunk, would she remember his response in the morning? This wasn't quite how he imagined their exchange of the fabulous, three worded phrase. He held Rose close to him because he was trying to protect her from doing crazy, drunken antics and because he could see the eyes of the other HuffPuffs on her. She was vulnerable and they were like vultures, waiting to attack. He pulled her closer to him and swayed them side to side. He knew his feelings for Rose, but he hoped their next exchange would be better. He leaned forward and kissed her once on the lips, then on the forehead, "Love you too, Rose."

Psyche, there weren't eyes of any other Puffs on her because Fred II wasn't there and he was the only one being all "SUP GURRRLLLL" so. You know. Not really. But still. She kissed Louis again, on her toes, setting her drink down on the table behind her because now there is a table behind her. She ignored all the puffs that aren't really there because no one posts, and that's lame.

Louis laughed and held her close, feeling particularly angry at the absent Puffs. Maybe the reason the Puff House is lame is because the inhabitants suck at logging on. YEAH. WHAT ABOUT THAT, SNICKERDOODLES?! Louis kissed her back a little more passionately, but made sure to keep it PG-13. They were in a public place and he liked to limit their PDA to only cuteness, not sexiness.

FINE. FINE. IF WE'RE KEEPING THIS PG-13 IN PUBLIC PLACES, THEN - "I wanna go back to the common room," Rose said, resting her head against Louis' chest. Okay fine so there's no actual smut. But like. Rose is drunk. And therefore less inhibited. Which suggests that this is what she wants, DEEP DOWN INSIDE, and it just took some alcohol for her to realize her DREAMS? OR. OR. Or she's just drunk and no one should listen to her. -shrug- Your choice.

Fleur strolled along the lake until she saw Hermione, sitting with - with a baby in her arms. See, because Fleur and Hermione haven't hung out IC since dinosaurs roamed the earth, Fleur doesn't know Hermione had the baby. Her mouth opens wide and she runs over, sitting beside her, "Well, I'm fine - een fact, I 'ave news to share with you. I am sure whezzer or not you will like eet, but I 'ope zat you do. Mainly, because eet 'as made me 'appy!" She smiled brightly, before turning her attention to Kiora, "Now, tell me who zis is! I didn't know you 'ad your wittle baby already! I feel like I 'ave been a 'orrible friend!"

Fleur shrugs, but wonders how her other emotions look on her and if she should toss them from facial expression wardrobe. She scrunches her nose and smiles at Kiora, thinking to herself how adorable the little girl really is, "Kiora - zat is a beautiful name, Mya! She is going to be a very lovely girl! I can 'elp teach 'er ze ways of, well, probably not dancing. I don't theenk Remus would like eet eef I taught 'er my way of dancing. Certainly, zoh, I can 'and off some of my - err - 'elpful advice one day." Fleur did not mention that she could teach Kiora the art of highlighting your best features or how to be an effortless flirt, "Anyways, I shall tell you why eet is zat I am 'appy. I talked to Sirius, you see, after ze prom. 'E told me zat 'e wanted me, but not in zat creepy way zat guys say. Like zose boys I met at ze 'Og's 'Ead. Blegh. 'E meant eet in ze cute way. *Hermione smiles indulgently for a whole bunch of reasons. First, she thinks Fleur should throw out all her other emotions and stick with happy, because then she would be happy all the time, and Hermione likes her friends to be happy. Secondly, even though Fleur could teach Kiora to dance like a whore and be a shameless, effortless flirt if she so chose, she could also teach Kiora about fashion and highlighting her best features... a gorgeous girl like Kiora is going to appreciate that, and Merlin knows Hermione herself has NFI what to do about it. Thirdly, Fleur admitted Kiora would be a lovely girl, and complimenting her daughter always makes Hermione smile. Even though Kiora's gorgeousness and wonderfulness go without saying. Fourthly, - I didn't even know fourthly was a word, but there's no squiggly line so I'm going with it - it wouldn't matter if Fleur did teach Kiora to flirt and dance whorishly, because not only is Kiora's daddy a flippin' scary warewolf, she's got overprotective uncles coming out of her ears already. Not to mention Sirius' chastity belt and shotgun combo.*

Thanks, Fleur. She'd be lucky to have someone like you to turn to. She's got too many uncles as it is, I'll need a few aunts to back me up every now and then.

*She bites her lip, but manages to hold on to her smile when Fleur mentions the renewal of her relationship with Sirius. She fights the urge to ask if Sirius is going to be less of a douchebag this time 'round, and puts aside her curiosity for whatever changed between Fleur agreeing to go to prom with James and now.*

That's great, Fleur. I'm glad you're happy. Of course, if he ever hurts you again, Kiora will find herself with one less uncle, who has mysteriously turned into an aunt....
