Nikki skipped down to the Lake, immensely bored, and saw no one was around. Heaving a great sigh, she transfigured her robes into a sparkly tap dance outfit, did a tap dance, and then changed her robes back. She walked sedately back to the castle.

Parvati skips down to the lake, feeling kind of sad because she still hasn't seen her BFF Fleur in ages. She finds a smile cross her face though as she spots her twin. "Padma! Hi!" she says going over and giving her sister a quick hug.

"Hey Parvati!" Padma exclaimed, hugging her twin back. "How've you been?"

She sees Trent go out to his tree, but snaps her attention back and tries to avoid glancing over at him. "I've been pretty good," she answers. "I had two fails yesterday with boys though," she says with a shrug. "How have you been? How's Andrew?"

"Andrew's fine, I think," Padma replied. "I dunno, though, I haven't seen him since yesterday. But I've been good! I took a couple tests last week, and I think I aced them-" she paused, thinking school things probably might not be the best thing to talk about. "What boy problems? Have they been annoying you?"

"Oh no! Nothing like that really," she says with a small shrug then toys with the hem of her skirt. "I mean, this Neville kid didn't fall for any of my tricks, so that was fail number one. Then fail number two was when I tried to kiss a guy who turned out to be gay," she says shaking her head. "I need to pay more attention to my gaydar. It's usually, like...spot on. Oh, but the good news is," she says leaning forward and saying in a quiet tone. "I talked to Trent and he's going to start sexting me back. So my day wasn't a complete fail!" she says sitting back and smiling. "That's great about the tests though! You were always the smart one!"

"Oh, Neville!" Padma said, smiling. "I've met him, he's really sweet, but... yeah, definitely not your type." She held back a laugh. "Well, that's- er- good about Trent." Padma really has no idea what to say about that kind of stuff, because she doesn't really think it's good for her sister. But, if that was the way her twin was going to be, she had no way to stop her, and Parvati would figure out if it was her way of life or not. "Really? Who was the guy?" she asked, in regard to the gay guy. "Thanks," she said, smiling again. "I suppose I shouldn't jump the wand, but..."

"Uhh, I think his name was like, Fartian...or no...Fabian! Yeah, Fabian," she says nodding her head. "I dunno, he was rather nice about it all," she shrugs. "And what do you mean 'but'?" she asks as her sister trails off. "'but's are not good unless you are talking about 'butts' which I don't think you are, so you need to explain yourself. Do I need to kick some sense into anyone?" she asks crossing her arms.

"Hmm, I don't think I've met him," Padma said, after hearing the name. "Well, the 'but' was just that I shouldn't jump to conclusions but that I am." She grinned. "You, knocking sense into me? Is that what you were indicating?"

"Well, it depends on who needs to have some sense knocked into them! It might have to be him though if he's thinking of pulling anything on my sister. He will not get away with hurting you," she says. "Not on my watch."

Padma smiled. "He'd better not," she said, "and you know it's reciprocal, right? We came packaged together." She laughed at the strange way her sentence sounded after speaking it. "So how's the ~~Cheerios~~ Gryffindor cheer squad?" she asked, changing the subject.

"Oh! Excellent!" she grins. "I think Fleur is planning some practices soon. Plus, these new uniforms show off my butt at such a nice angle," she says. "I'm just excited for the season to start and some Quidditch games to occur. How's the Ravenclaw team doing?"

"Terrible," Padma joked. "Naw, they're shaping up. I haven't gotten the schedule of Quidditch games, though. I am too! It's going to be an awesome season."

"It really is," she grins. "Seems like competition is going to be intense this season. I mean, us Gryffindors now have Viktor Krum. I don't know if anyone else will really have that much of a chance."

"Well," Padma sighed, "that's certainly a problem. Personally, it's a bit unfair, really. He's a professional! These are just amateur teams, even though no one wants to admit it." She shrugged.

"Yeah, I can see what you mean," she says with a sigh. "But really, he's Viktor Krum. We're pretty lucky to have him on our team. I mean, if he was on another house team, I would probably understand what you mean more."

"Yeah, you guys are really lucky," Padma agreed. "I've also thought of starting a Ravenclaw cheer squad, but not very many Ravenclaws are, well, into cheering." She laughed. "We're nerds, we sit around the common room, read, have raves, do our homework, then go to bed."

"Really? Raves?" she asks somewhat surprised. "I haven't heard of these raves. What are they like?" she asks.

"Yep, raves," Padma said, grinning. "Well, we have disco balls and dance around to music, with a bunch of cool Ravenclaw things that we create.... They're really fun! I'd sneak you in sometime, but I don't think our gargoyle would appreciate it." She shrugged, smiling at Parvati.

"That's okay," she grins. "I mean, I highly doubt the Fat Lady would let you into Gryffindor too. They guards have been extra strict lately. It's a shame. I guess I'll just have to image this common room though and these awesome raves. How often do you have these raves?" she asks.

"No, she certainly wouldn't," Padma replied. "I didn't try getting into the common room, but I was waiting outside her portrait, and she was very suspicious." She laughed. "Oh, we have raves every time there's more than one person in the common room and whenever we feel like it. It's very un-scheduled."

"Is there like...alcohol at these raids?" she asks. "Because I know that that is how Gryffindors and Slytherins party, and rumour has it that the Puffs even have their own supply of alcohol hidden in their Common Room."

"Seriously, even the Puffs?" Padma asked, then shook her head in disgust. "All these kids do when they party is drink. The raves in Ravenclaw are definitely not like that. We have nice fun without drinking." She shrugged. "Although, I'm not sure what Joel has hidden in his office..." She laughed.
