[It's for my apush class. We're having a themed debate tomorrow where everyone gets a character from history and we talk about an issue from that point in time. We get extra credit if we dress up. Mostly I'm using the helmet to illustrate that all that war and stuff is in my past, as I am now a Quaker (William Penn)]

George swoops down upon hearing his stomach grumble, as if demanding more than a measly bagel. "Alright, alright!" he mutters to it as he lands on the bench next to Milli. "Oi, Fred! Not telling them about our plan for world domination are you?" he calls around the two girls.

Lavender is here, bored. She hasn't seen too many people yet, and is practically bursting with gossip. Nothing too interesting of course, but this was Lavender, she lived to gossip.

[Seamus M. Finnigan]

Seamus strode bodly over to the table and smiled as he saw Lavender. "Finally!" he said, throwing his hands up and causing her to jump slightly at his sudden outburst. He took a seat opposite her and continued, "Someone I know! Hi, Lavender! Ah, sorry, I got left behind with a bunch of second years when I went to grab something I left on the train and couldn't find a single familiar face."

Lavender did indeed jump when Seamus came over. She smiled politely at him, having never really had a conversation with him before. "I know what you mean. I seem to have lost everyone too." She couldn't help but notice how cute Seamus got over the summer...more, manly she figured. "You're free to sit here until someone turns up. How was your holiday?"

[Seamus M. Finnigan]

"Oh, yeah, thanks!" he said in embarrassment, realizing he had forgotten to ask to sit. "It was okay. Ya know," he made a bored face, "fighting evil and whatnot. The usual." Seamus grinned, unable to hold a serious face. This was, of course, his way of flirting. "Anyway, what 'bout you?"

She gave him a skeptical, yet adorable look. "Fighting evil? I'm so sure." She said it sarcastically. "Well, pretty boring compared to you it seems. So, what sorts of evil did you fight? Garden Gnomes?" She giggled. "Or was it something more dangerous like.." She thought for a moment "I got it! A Blibbering Humdinger!" She laughed even more.

[Seamus M. Finnigan]

Seamus raised an eyebrow at her teases. "More like fighting off Doxies! 'Garden Gnomes', psh!" He laughed, then tried to lean back in his seat and, forgetting there was no back, fell out off the seat. "Bloody hell!" he yelped, scrambling back into his spot. "Erm, that didn't just happen."

Lavender couldn't help but burst out laughing as Seamus fell. She hadn't laughed this hard since..well probably since she was on the train. Her eyes began to water and she tried to speak through her giggles. "Oh yeah, whatever you say, that totally didn't happen and I am totally not telling anyone about that!" Finally her laughing let up, and she wiped her eyes on her sleeve.

Seamus blushed a vibrant red, staring down at his empty plate as she laughed. "Now that could've happened to anyone. I mean, come on! These damn chairs need to have some sort of backrest on them!" he mumbled, throwing his hand around behind him and only swiping air. "I'm not going to have to erase your memory am I? Or are ya gonna keep quiet?"

"Oh sure, I'll keep it real quiet." Again she was heavy on the sarcasm. "You've been here how long? And you still can't remember that the benches in the Great Hall don't have backs on them?" She giggled again. "Are you okay? Or was just your pride hurt?"

[Seamus M. Finnigan]

[Computer is epically dieing and charger's not working. I'll be on later, sorry!]

[Okay! that's cool! I'll be here!]

"Yeah, I'm fine," he grumbled. "And my pride is perfectly fine, thanks. I have enough to last me about ten of those little incidents. Who's laughing now?" His smile returned to his face and he reached over to grab a chicken leg from a nearby stack. After pouring himself some pumpkin juice he said, "Ya aren't even eating, General Sarcastic. No wonder you're a twig!"

She rolled her eyes. "I'm sure you're pride is fine." She watched him grab food and scoffed at his comment. "For your information, I already ate. Then I went to check my dorm to see if I could find Parvati, then came back here to see if she was waiting for me. And also, I'll have you know, there's nothing wrong with being fit."

[Louis Weasley]

Louis happened to wander by the Gryffindor table on his way to his own table. He noticed Lavender and smiled. He walked up to her "Hey Lavender! How's it going?"

Lavender beamed at the cute boy she met earlier. "Hey Louis! Good, and you? This is Seamus." She gestured to the boy across the table from her, but kept her eyes on the Ravenclaw. "He's in Gryffindor with me, obviously." She giggled.

Louis' eyes briefly darted to the other boy and gave him a head nod "Hello Seamus." He quickly looked back at Lavender "I'm alright. I'm actually a bit bored, looking for something to do after classes get out for the day. do you have any ideas?"
