Seamus frowned as the new guy walked over and scowled at Lavender's reaction. "Hi. Well, we were actually having a conversation," he mumbled, glaring.

Lavender didn't hear Seamus talk. "Oh, what's your last class? I have Charms last tomorrow, I think." She thought for a moment and realized she didn't actually remember her schedule. "Well, whatever. I don't really remember. We could hang if you want." She smiled at him again.

Seamus coughed loudly, turning his glare to Lavender. "Still here."

She shoots an irritated glance at Seamus before turning back to Louis.

Louis smirks inwardly a little at Seamus' obvious annoyance but keeps his attention on Lavender. "I think my last class is Charms as well, maybe we have it together" he smiled. "You want to do something after? Sounds great! How about we meet up by the kitchens after classes if we end up not having our last classes together?"

"That would be so cool if he had Charms together. We could break the norm and sit with each other too!" She giggles. "I'd love to go to the kitchens. You know how to get in? I've never been in there before!"

Louis chuckled "We could. And..." He leaned in and whispered in her ear "Let's just say I have my ways" He leaned back up and smiled "So the kitchens tomorrow?"

She held her breath when he leaned in to whisper in her ear. She blushed deep red as he felt his breath brush over her neck. She smiled flirtatiously at him. "Well, I can't wait to see your ways. Kitchens sounds like the perfect idea." She continued to smile at him, her eyes never leaving his.

Hugo wanders in and takes a seat at the Gryffindor table. with a skill that only comes with practice he manages to pile up his plate with his favorite foods without his eyes leaving the page of the book he is reading.

Louis grinned "Great. so I'll see you tomorrow then" He winked quickly "See you around Seamus"

She smiled at him again. "See you. I'll save you seat in Charms. Can't wait until tomorrow." She gave him a little wink then finally turned back around to Seamus, like nothing happened. She then noticed another boy at the table. She waved at him, not sure if he saw since he had his nose in a book.

Hugo turned to the girl next to him who waved at him. 'Hello.' he says 'i'm Hugo.' he puts down his book making a note of the page he is on.

He smiles at them both. 'it's nice to meet both of you. what year are you in?'

"Seventh. You?" He looked young to Lavender, and wondered if they looked big to him.

'Fourth.' Hugo replied. he wasn't surprised to hear Lavender was a seventh year she looked like a seventh year, though he was almost as tall as her. he may have been young but he was tall.

Seamus was practically shaking with anger in his seat after Louis had left. "'Have my ways'!" he mocked under his breath. There was a huge part of him that wished to catch up to the pathetic Ravenclaw and curse his grin right off his stupid face. He gave no notice to the new guy as he introduced himself, his eyes still on the spot where Louis had disappeared. Cursing, he finally turned to the two in front of him and gave a small, late wave.

It was then that she noticed how angry Seamus seemed to be. "You alright? You look a little...off." She looked at him somewhat concerned.

He gritted his teeth and attempted a smile. "No, I'm fine! Just - erm - realized that I forgot something back at home. I'll send an owl about it," he muttered the next part to himself, "after my classes, I guess." Underneath the table his hand tightened around his wand, fighting the urge to storm off after Louis. Why am I so mad?

She giggled. "Yeah, that seems like something to get angry about." She rolled her eyes. "Here, take a drink, cool down." She pushed his glass closer to him, completely oblivious that she was the reason he was angry.

Seamus unwillingly took a small sip, careful not to let his shaking hands spill it. "So," he said as casually as he could, "I've never seen that guy around before. Louis, was it? Seems a little . . . rude. I guess he just butts into to conversations like that all the time."

She cocks her head to the side and narrows her eyes at him. "Uh. He seems fine to me. I just met him yesterday actually." She grins when she thinks about the cute Ravenclaw. "We agreed on being study buddies." She shrugged like it was no big deal.

"Oh. Study buddies. Sounds fun." Seamus stared into his cup for a second, then attempted to change the subject. "So, uhm, what classes have you got? Other than Charms," he added quickly.

"Divination, Defense Against the Dark Arts, Potions, and Herbology. You?" She poured herself some Pumpkin Juice and took a sip and waited for his answer.

"Defense, Potions, Herbology, Charms," he rolled his eyes, "Ancient Runes, and Transfiguration. Actually," he brightened up at his mention of Transfiguration, "I really shouldn't bother taking Transfiguration! I've got quite a few spells already in here," he tapped his head. "Wanna see one?"
