She smiled, "Sure. Let me see what you've got." She leaned on the table, prepared to watch whatever it was that he as about to attempt.

Beaming, Seamus whipped out his wand and poured some water into his cup. Clearing his throat, he said, "Eye of rabbit, harp string hum, turn this water into rum." Nothing happened. He tried the incantation again, then once more. "EYE OF RABBIT, HARP ST-," a deafening explosion cut him off on the fourth try, turning everyone's head in his direction. When the smoke finally cleared he looked up at Lavender, his face growing hot. "That didn't happen last time! I swear!" he burst out.

She couldn't help but giggle at his failed attempt to impress her. Then his cup exploded and she started coughing like mad, inhaling much of the smoked. "I. Don't....Think you..did that ...right." She said between coughs. For safe measure she felt her hair, to make sure no damage was done. Had she had found a single strand that was damaged, she would have beaten Seamus to a pulp. Luckily for him, her hair was all still intact.

His eyes widened as she began coughing and he mentally slapped himself. "Oh! Are y-you okay? I-I mean, I've messed it up before, but I thought I f-finally had it down!" He grimaced as he realized how much he was stumbling on his words, then grabbed a nearby napkin and wiped it on his face, feeling self-conscience. "M-maybe there was still a bit of pumpkin juice in the cup? That might've me-messed it up! Ah, I'm so s-sorry!"

She had finally stopped coughing. "I'm fine. Next time you want Rum, just buy some." She gave a short laugh. "I've never heard anyone use that spell before, are you sure it was right? Or did you make it up?" She grabbed a napkin and dabbed delicately at her eyes, making sure her eyeliner was still perfect.

"Well, actually, I made it up in my first year. But it worked a couple times before now! I practiced over and over again, but I guess I still don't have it down." He stared at his hands gloomly, knowing that he keeps embarrassing himself in front of Lavender. "Today is just a bad day, that could be what's wrong."

She reaches over and pats his hand briefly. "It's okay. People mess up spells." She gave him a reassuring smile, even though she has never blown anything up before. "You're having a bad day? Want to talk about it? I mean, we're back at Hogwarts. How can that be bad."

Seamus pursed his lips, aggitated. "Just left something on the train and at home. That's about it," he looked away. "Nothing really important. But, hey! Life isn't always perfect right?" He gave a weak smile before asking, "What about you? Having a good day?" As soon as he finished his sentence he winced inwardly, guessing her responce.

"Well, your mum will be able to send it to you. It will be okay." She smiles and blushes slightly when he asks about her day "I've been having an excellent day! Seen all my friends. Made some new friends." She smirked. "And it's my last year of school. There is nothing that will bring me down today."

"True!" He smiled when she didn't mention Louis. "Oh, yeah! I forgot it was our last year! It's exciting but kind of sad." He looked around the Great Hall, taking in the familiar surroundings. "It's become a part of me over the years, ya know? Anyway, I'm terrified for N.E.W.T.s! I hope I'll pass. . ."

"Yeah, it's like a second home practically." She too looked around the room. "I'm nervous too, but we have a while still. I'm sure the coursework is going to be murder this year." She couldn't even imagine all the work they were gonna have.

"Ugh, I can see the stacks of paper already. I hope I don't drown in it." He shuttered and glanced down at his empty cup. "I'm about done here, wanna go somewhere or are ya gonna stay here?"

"Um." She looked around the hall to see if she could see any of her friends. They apparently were not going to show. "I guess we could go somewhere else. Did you have a place in mind?"

"Oh!" he said, slightly surprised that she agreed. "Maybe we could head to the Hippogriff pens or something? You know, someplace fun and interesting." He smiled brightly as he stood up, glad to move around. He went to draw his fingers through his hair and winced as some of it chipped off.

"Sure. It's not dangerous right? I mean, you've already tried blowing me up. You're not gonna try and get me killed by a Hippogriff are you?" She stood too and looked at him with a smirk. She looked around the hall again, her eyes unconsciously searching the Ravenclaw table.

Seamus, turning on his heel, walked down the legth of the table and met her at the end. "As long as you keep your distance it'll all be fine!" He led her out of the hall and couldn't help but notice where her eyes drifted, but he ignored it.

Gideon comes skidding into the Great Hall, still dragging Molly by the hand. "WHY IS THERE NOONE ELSE HERE!? WHERE IS DUMBLEDORE?" He wails, falling to his knees in desperation and placing a hand on his forehead. "Whatever shall we do?" He says melodramatically.

Molly looks around the empty Great Hall with an expression of 'like, whoa' on her face as she absently noms another Cookie and pats Gideon consolingly. His shoulder, not his head, because even when completely stoned she knows not to mess with the hair. "Where is everybody? It's all, like, dark and stuff. Kinda creepy, you know. HEY! OHMYGOD! What if it was, like, the apocalypse and we're the only two left! OhmyGod! I bet that's it. Gideon, we're the last two people left in the world. Merlin, imagine the possibilities," she breathes, looking around the darkened Great Hall as if it is the world, and it is now her oyster. "Well, there's only one thing to do in a moment like this," she says decisively.
She kicks her shoes off - one lands on the Slytherin table, don't even ask how, but hey - all sorts of nasty shit goes on over there so it doesn't even matter.
She jumps up on Gryffindor table in her socks and, taking a run up, slides as far as she can. And then it goes a little something like this, only she's still wearing her skirt, thankyouverymuch.

Gideon collapses on the floor, his laughter echoing around the Great Hall due to it's emptiness. He is literally rolling on the floor, that is how hard he is laughing. As he does so, he kicks his shoes off - where they end up, he has no idea. And he doesn't really care. He leaps up, and joins her on the table, running back and forwards and sliding around, just because it's fun.

Gideon's laughter is somewhat infectious, and Molly finds herself giggling wildly as she finishes her little performance and takes a bow.
"Thank you, thank you, I'm here all week," she announces with a laugh, waving at a sea of adoring, imaginary fans.
"WOOT!" she squeals as Gideon joins her on the table, playing slip and slide in his socks too because it's the most awesome fun ever.
She spins round and round on the spot, getting nicely dizzy because whoa, everything looks, like, twice as swirly now, and then she takes a run up along the length of the table and skids. She's so dizzy she doesn't realise she's on a collision course with Gideon, and AJ can play this one out however she chooses...

Gideon continues playing slip and slide for a while, just because it's amusing... And he is so busy sliding around he doesn't notice Mol heading towards his at top speed - well, top speed for sock-sliding, anyway. With a CRASH, they collide, but luckily, due to the height of Molly, they don't bash heads. Instead, Gideon falls backwards with Mol on top of him. Good thing he's used to running into stuff, and he just laughs, Mol still on top of him.

Molly blinks. "Like, whoa!" she exclaims. One minute she's sock-sliding her little heart out, and the next she appears to have tackled her big brother. Impressive. Giggling, she pushes herself up a little. "You are, like, way not-cushiony, Giddy," she comments, and rolls to the side so they're both laying on their backs in the middle of Gryffindor table, staring up at the enchanted ceiling. "You know, I bet the Lion King totally had it right and the great kings of the past are looking down at us right now. And I bet they're all thinking 'Man, I wish I had someone who bakes Special Cookies half as good as Molly Prewett!' Yeah, be jealous, dead dudes. Bet your crowns don't get you high."

Caradoc walks into the room and blinks, because he was pretty sure Molly and Gideon were siblings, which is rather questionable due to the fact that Molly appeared to be sitting on top of Gideon. Well then. Maybe it was just the gillyweed. That's nice. He shrugged and walked over, because the Prewetts are fucking awesome. "Hey there, guys," he said with amused smile, realizing that they were about as baked as he was right now. "Whoa, where'd all the people go? This place was mad crowded when I was here last. Do you think the squid got to them? I might have to yell at Frodo. CAN THE SQUID GET INTO THE CASTLE?! BUT THAT WOULD BE AWESOME AND BADASS!"

Gideon sits up when he sees Caradoc, still laughing a little. It may not have been that funny, but whatever. It sure seemed so! "HEY MAN! YEAH, IT'S QUIET, ISN'T IT? BUT IT'S AWESOME FOR SOCK SKATING? Also, who is Frodo? Why are you talking about Lord of the Rings? I thought you said you were from New Jersey, not New Zealand."
