"Lord of the Rings? I was talking about the squid. Alice and I named it Frodo when we conquered it yesterday, we had a damn good time wrestling it. DID YOU KNOW THAT THING HAS TENTACLES? LIKE LOTS AND LOTS OF TENTACLES. THEY ARE VERY BIG AND THEY LIKE TO TRY AND DROWN PEOPLE, BUT IT'S OKAY, BECAUSE NOW IT HAS A FLAG ON ITS HEAD WITH THE ALICE AND CARADOC SYMBOL OF AWESOME. Which is a.... I forgot. I think it had a badger, though. And rainbows," he added, looking almost thoughtful, or as close to thoughtful as Caradoc allows himself to look in general. "Sock skating? DAMN you people are COOL!" Caradoc kicks off his converse so he can participate in said sock skating.

Everything is funny right now, which is why Molly is still giggling, too. She tilts her head to the side, some of her long hair spilling over the edge of the table towards the bench below, and grins up at Rad. "Hey! It's, like, super quiet and stuff," she announces loudly. "The apocalypse happened or something, and now everyone else is gone. OhmyGod! You're totally a survivor too! Awesome. Feel proud, dude. We should totally get t-shirts made. Or I could knit something. Pfft, what am I saying - I could knit anything. Whatever. Knitting needles are funny. Have you ever, like, thought about knitting needles? Really? Also, I feel compelled to inform you that on the latest Hogwarts census, the Giant Squid's name was listed as Marvin. But he was totally doing the dirty on Mrs Marvin with the Loch Ness Monster so maybe he, like, lost the lake in the property settlement and Frodo moved in. Whatever," she waves a hand and sits up, skipping off along the table to do more sock twirlies.
Yeah, she has no idea what she's saying. Someone stop her before she forgets to breathe and passes out, yeah?

"I have... I have indeed thought about knitting needles. WAIT, YOU KNIT?! TWENTY FIVE COOL POINTS TO MOLLY PREWETT! See, they don't think I can knit because I am a manly Old Spice wearing man, BUT WHO IS TO SAY THAT MANLY MEN CANNOT KNIT? WE SHOULD KNIT STUFF FOR THE SURVIVORS! Wait, did everyone else die? THAT IS SAD! I hope Frodo is okay, he was cool. But wait-- OH NO! I must save Alice! SHE IS MY BRO, AND ONE GOES TO ANY LENGTHS TO SAVE A BRO AS LONG AS IT DOES NOT COST ONESELF GETTING LAID. Getting laid should always be one's first priority in Caradoc world," he declared. "Also, what the fuck kind of name is Marvin? I mean, it's not even that cool sportsfish name Marlin, it's just so... I BET MARVIN HAD FRECKLES, THAT IS WHAT KIND OF NAME MARVIN IS. It's a freckly name."

Gideon shakes his head at the other two. "You KNIT?? What is this world coming to? Also, I would like to take this opportunity to point out that my sister is female, and therefore cannot be a bro to anyone... This is madness. No, THIS. IS. SPARTA. Or something like that. Do Spartan Squids have freckles?"

"I bet they do, those Spartans are weird. DUDE, HAVE YOU NOT READ THE BRO CODE? IT'S LIKE, RIGHT THERE. WOMEN CAN BE BROS, IT'S RULE NUMBER 22! God man, don't be sexist!" chided Caradoc, still grinning. "Do you think Frodo will have freckles someday? I hope not. A freckled squid is just doomed, man. It'll never get a date with the Loch Ness Monster."

"Silly boys," Molly sings, stopping spinning and going back to sock-sliding. "Need, like, a whole code to figure stuff out. Whatever. And Marvin was cold banging' Nessie, I'm telling you, so whatever." She pulls another Cookie out of the stash that ended up in her pocket - all a bit crumbly from the tackling incident now - and noms on it as she sets a new sock-slide record. In fact, it's such a long sock-slide, she slides right off the end of the table and only lands on her feet because she was too stoned to realise what even happened. "Like, whoa," she mutters. "Now I'm even shorter than everyone else," she wails.

Caradoc laughs and immediately scoops her up, propping her up on his shoulder so she's taller than everyone. "There, is that better? WHOA. IS THAT A COOKIE I SPY? THAT CANNOT POSSIBLY BE ONE OF THE FAMED COOKIES OF MOLLY PREWETT, CAN IT? You should know I require payment for my services, if I'm going to carry you around so you don't feel like a midget, you know," he teased, looking up at her.

Molly fist pumps as well as her brother. She's been practicing. "I'm queen up here!" she announces, nomming more Special Cookie. "And hey! I am not, like, a midget. I'm petite. You're lucky I'm in such a generous mood, now that we're the only three people left in the world because I, like, usually charge for these. Well, everyone except Gid, but don't tell the others that," she amends, shooting a quick grin at her brother as she reaches into her pocket for another chunk of Special Cookie, which she stuffs unceremoniously in Rad's mouth.

Gideon chuckles and rolls his eyes a little at Molly and Rad... And then he realised that he was still on the table, now by himself. He ran, then slid, down the length of the table as Molly had done, but when he reached the end of the table, rather than simply sliding off, he launched himself into the air. Almost gracefully, he went head over heels, doing a complete somersault and somehow still landing on his feet. Really, it should be impossible, but somehow he manages it. Seriously, picture that in all it's awesomosity. He runs over to Molly and Rad, reaching his hand up for more Special Cookie, otherwise he feels like he might crash soon.

"Dahhnkyuu," he says happily through a mouthful of cookie. "Yur lahk dotally uhsum," he says, finishing the cookie quickly so he can talk again. "THEY WEREN'T KIDDING! THESE ARE LIKE, SERIOUSLY GOOD! I would totally supply you at a discount, just saying, for a cookie or a dozen," he said with a grin, which turns into a gape as Gideon does an awesome flippy thing. "THAT WAS MAD TRIPPY, DUDE!"

Molly grins. "My Cookies are, like, the best in Special Cookies of all time. OF ALL TIME. Well I've got a teeny tiny farm, but there was an incident in Greenhouse Three the other day with a giant Venus Fly-trap and a halogen lamp spell and I'm running, like, just a tad low, so we could totally do business. Cool," she nods decisively. Then her eyes get super wide as Gideon flips onto the ground. "WHOA! That was, like, so freakin' awesome, brother of mine. And now you're super short and stuff compared to me. How does that feel, huh? Here, have a Cookie, it'll make you feel better," she says sagely, stuffing a Cookie in Gid's mouth too, then one in her own.

"'Fankkss." Gideon mumbles as he quickly chews part of his cookie, and then swallows it. He bows gallantly, his arms spread wide. The high from the other cookies, is beginning to wear off now. Pity, really, as Gideon would have loved to be able to recreate that flip sober. Which will never, ever, ever happen.

Caradoc laughs and readjusts Molly on his shoulder, holding her up with one arm while he uses the other one to reach up and tuck a lock of hair behind Molly's ear. "Can't have you flailing about blind up there," he teased. "Seriously though, why did you get the flaming red hair? Your kickass sister's a blonde, and your brothers are brunettes. Are you just the awesome one, or did you dye it? BECAUSE THAT'S JUST REALLY BRIGHT HAIR, Y'KNOW? Like, I wonder if it got lit on fire, if you could tell. THAT WOULD REALLY SUCK IF YOU COULDN'T TELL!"

Molly's jaw drops indignantly. "I DO NOT DYE MY HAIR! OHMYGOD! I'M, LIKE, INSULTED AND STUFF. MY HAIR IS JUST AWESOME BECAUSE I WAS TOO AWESOME FOR REGULAR COLOURS AND IF NOTHING ELSE THE SMOKE WOULD TOTALLY GIVE AWAY THE WHOLE FIRE THING!" she yells, swinging her leg back and kicking him somewhere near the bottom of his ribcage because she does have pretty short legs.

Caradoc grunts and bursts out laughing, lifting her down from his shoulder and spinning her around really fast in his arms. "Hey now! No violence, or I won't make you really tall! And that's sad, because you know, you're short and all," he teased, and Eowyn knows Rad is only doing this because Gid knows he's gay and therefore knows he does not have evil intentions by playing around with Molly. "Now, be good, or I'll put you down, and look down on you from two feet above," he teased, because Rad is like, 6'10'' or something ridiculous.

Gideon appreciates having that knowledge of Rad, because otherwise he'd probably be at least trying to kick some Dearborn arse right about now. But he's gay, so that's cool. Gideon smiles, feeling himself coming out of the high, and gets on the table again, lying down this time. He puts his hands behind his head, and looks up at the stars.

Molly screams and flails her fists out, because now that the Special Cookie Effect is settling down, spinning around real fast is totally not giving her the buzz it was a little while ago. "PUT ME DOWN" she screams, bashing at him wherever she can reach and twisting and wriggling her way to the ground. She lands flat on her butt, but that's cool, because she's free now, and she bounces back to her feet with a triumphant grin and a blush on her cheeks that she's putting down to exertion and all that yelling... poor girl. "Short jokes? Like, really? That's what you're going with? Fine, fine, see if that ever gets you any Special Cookies ever again." With that, she kicks him in the shins and goes to slump on the bench, leaning backwards to rest her elbows on the table behind her.
"Hey! I wonder if the house elves survived the apocalypse or not. Because I've totally got the munchies."

Caradoc rolls his eyes because Molly is going to break something if she keeps trying to beat up the abdominal man panther. "Relax, cutie, if you keep trying to hurt me, you're going to break something on my muscles of steel, and that'd be sad, because you're awesome. And I am indeed VERY sorry about the short jokes, and I shall furthermore refrain from using them, m'dear Molly," he teased, walking over to wear she was sitting and leaning against the wall beside her.

[Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaand my Skype died. AGAIN. But I have to go to bed anyway. SORRY! NIGHT! LOVE YOU BOTH!]

Gideon was still looking up, fascinated and now mumbling to himself about the constellations he knew, and making up new names for the ones he didn't. After a moment, he realised that in fact, his eyes had closed, so he stopped talking to himself and fell asleep, right there at the Gryffindor Table. That'll be awkward in the morning. Good thing he was right down the end of the table - hopefully nobody would be trying to balance pitchers of pumpkin juice on his abs of steel or anything.

Molly hears the very slight snore come from the table behind her and turns to see Gideon having fallen asleep right there on the table. She giggles. "Huh. Usually it's me that passes out," she comments to Rad, and pokes Gideon's face a couple of times to see if he'll wake up. Nope, he's out for the count. Molly sighs and knocks on the table. "Hello? House elves? Did you, like, die in the apocalypse or can I have some food, man?" she whines slightly.

Caradoc laughs and shrugs. "Here, have a banana," he said, tossing a banana at Molly out of nowhere, because I bet Rad just carries them around all the time. "Enjoy," he said with a grin that would be interpreted very differently if Sirius had done this instead of Rad, but it's all the same to Molly the dumb bunny who is the only one who thinks Rad is straight, poor girl. WAIT! PANSY DOES TOO! That's two!

Mya laughs for about five minutes at the irony of one of Molly's dislikes being listed as bananas in her character profile.
Molly screams and throws the banana high in the air and wipes her hands on her skirt to get the banana germs off her. "Ew! Like, gross. No thanks. I don't want your banana," she says. Mya facepalms because she typed that without thinking. FML. It must be nearly bedtime. "Bananas are icky things, you must, like, really love them to carry them round all the time. you just, like, whip one out wherever?"
Luckily, before she can dig herself any deeper into this innuendo minefield, the very first breakfast platters appear on the tables and Molly lets out an ear-splitting shriek of delight. "MUSHROOMS!"
She drives for the platter, and brings the whole thing close. The cutlery is too slow to appear, so she settles for using her fingers. High!Molly doesn't quite have the impeccable table manners of Sober!Molly it seems.

Caradoc looks at her in horror. "HOW CAN YOU NOT LIKE BANANAS?! I DON'T UNDERSTAND! BANANAS THEY'RE AMAZING!" He deftly catches the banana before any damage comes to it, peels it, and begins munching while watching Molly devour mushrooms rather rabidly. "You really do have the munchies, don't you," he laughed, before realizing that he too has the munchies. Well shit. "MUSHROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMS!" he bellows, attacking another plate.

Molly pulls a face at the offensive banana. "They're, like, so gross," she says, but grins when he joins her in the great mushroom munchie fest. "Mushrooms are so cool! OhmyGod! Wouldn't it be cool if they, like, served Magic Mushrooms for breakfast? And then everyone here at Hoggy-Warty Hogwarts would totally have a magical day!"
Thoroughly pleased with her own cleverness (hey, it's Mol, you have to grade on a curve, here!) she breaks out into delighted giggles at the thought and begins searching through the platter for the Magic Mushroom, because it's totally like a Golden Ticket in her head right now.

"OH MY MERLIN, THAT WOULD BE LIKE, SO TOTALLY COOL. WE should do it! US! Can you imagine if we like, brought your cookies to a party and said they were totally normal? We'd get those shy kids all baked! Come on, Molly, gotta start the year with a prank, right?" he said excitedly, looking for magic mushrooms with her. "THERE HAS TO BE ONE SOMEWHERE!"
