Draco snickered at the though of Pansy in a hot pink saloon girl look then laughed even harder as Blaise sprayed drink everywhere. Then stopped when Pansy said Astwhoria. OH SNAP. CATFIGHT!

Tony saunters in and sits, grabbing something to drink. He's not really into the whole 'let's introduce ourselves' thing, but he'll do it, since that's the only way he'll actually meet people and possibly score a hot girl or two...or three...or more. Whatever works.

Astoria did some classic bitch moves. You know, little head jerk, sarcastically sweet smile... the works. "Where'd you get it? Gladrags? Were you planning on working at Madam Puddifoot's this year, then?" She gave a little tinkling giggle at her own marvelous wit, then turned back to her own food that she was picking at daintily, giving the illusion of a delicate appetite.

Still staring Astoria down, Pansy reached over and patted Blaise on the back to keep him from choking, wishing Daphne hadn't brought up that dress and dearly hoping she still didn't have pictures of her in it. "You know, maybe I'll let you borrow it. Since obviously you don't have enough clothes to wear. Just look at your shirt. Or, really, the lack of." Pansy shook her head and looked at her pityingly as if she was a poor pathetic starving beggar child.

Daphne high-fived Pansy. "Nice one," she said, not caring that her sister was the butt of the jokes. Astwhoria did have quite a ring to it. She raises her eyebrows at Astwhoria's comments and snickered at Pansy. She nods to the newcomer before turning back to watch the show.

Draco continued to eat and drink and be merry while watching this. He wasn't about to get in between the two of them. Well at least he wouldn't get in to their fight. He wouldn't mind being between the two of them other times...

Pansy's just jealous. Duh. Astoria grabbed a piece of cake to pick over. "I don't see how it's so much easier to be friends with a helpless, dependent girl in a floofy green dress." James is running out of material. Which is okay, because Astoria is not famed for her wit.

1.0 Pansy would have leapt across the table by now and taken your head off. Unfortunately, 2.0 Pansy is mostly a verbal fighter until later. How disappointing. "I pay them well, Astwhoria. I pay them well." Pansy looks away from her, quite finished with talking to her. She turns to Dee instead, because she and her bff haven't gotten to catch up yet since Pansy had been in Prefect things on the train. They proceed to talk about their summers or boys or something, and Pansy snatches a piece of bread off of Blaise's plate.

Terence, trying to find a good spot at the table to sit at, stops for a moment by the group of girls. Near them was an open seat, and after a few moments of debating whether or not there was an open seat anywhere else, finally decided to quitely sit down. There he sat, silently cursing to himself for showing up so late.

Dee talks to Pansy about whatever Pansy said they'd be talking about. I forgot. She smiles at the newcomer, who sat down nearby. "Pans, can you believe we have to share a dorm with her?" she whispers, hoping Astoria doesn't hear. She's too busy looking at Draco anyway. "It's bad enough that she follows us around." She sighs, exasperated.

"Why would they even put her in with us? She's a sixth year isn't she? Don't they have some stupid sixth year girls to put her with?" Pansy crossed her arms and sighed, realizing that she'd probably be avoiding her dorm as much as possible except to sleep. She nodded hello to the new guy as she stole another piece of Blaise's food.
