Remus is sitting on the floor, leaning back against stone wall of the Astronomy tower. Since it was so cold he had brought a blanket along so he and Jack could share it. He'd sent Jack a note earlier asking if they could hang out, since it'd been a while and Remus was missing him. Even more so after his little talk with Viktor the other day. There's a container of yummy chocolate chip cookies sitting nearby. Remus had made them only an hour before as a sort of surprise for Jack. So now here he sits, cross-legged, covered with the blanket, looking out towards the darkening sky and starting to panic, wondering if Jack even likes chocolate chip cookies. *cue adorable Rack scene*

Jack emerges out into the early evening, eyes scanning the area because Remus had asked to meet him here. Well, Jack's not about to turn down a chance to spend some time snuggling with his adorable boyfriend, so naturally he thinks nothing of braving the cold. He smiles when he spots Remus sitting against the wall and moves quickly over to join him. "Room for one more?" he grins, sitting down. He settles himself across from Remus' moving the blanket to cover his own knees as he sits cross-legged as well, his knees pressing gently against the Gryffindor's.

"Hi!" Remus smiles happily when Jack finally joins him. He leans forward a bit to kiss Jack softly then reaches over to grab the container of cookies and holds it out to Jack. "Cookies! I made them about an hour ago to bring along...but then I started panicking cause what if you didn't even like chocolate chip cookies? But, I mean, there's nothing I can do about it now, obviously, so I just had to hope and all..." it all came out in a rush as he semi-panicked again, "so...yeah. Cookies." He was stuck slight quaffley again.

Jack dies because Remus is just too adorable.

Jack grins into the kiss, his eyes lighting up as Remus passes the cookies (but not Cookies) over and babbles out his nervousness. "Even if I didn't like chocolate chip cookies -and what sane man doesn't?- I would probably love them anyway," he says, pulling the lid off the container and taking a big whiff of freshly baked cookie goodness. FML now Mya wants cookies and Andrew has the car. "They smell delicious," Jack says, choosing one and taking a big bite. His eyes close a moment as he savours the taste. "And they taste even better. Here, try," he says, holding the cookie up to Remus' lips to feed him a bite.

Remus is relieved when Jack says they taste good. So he didn't fail there. Good. And now he's all happy cause he brought cookies and his boyfriend loved them. Life is good. If he was a dog his tail would be wagging, YEAH. THAT'S HOW HAPPY HE IS...BUT HE'S NOT A DOG...SO THAT'S NOT HAPPENING. Er...anyway. "Oh I'm so glad you like them! I was worried..." he smiles then takes a bite of the cookie Jack was holding up for him. Ooh they were yummy! He might have put a bit more chocolate than usual in them...but why would he complain about something like that? More chocolate was better in his opinion.

Whoa, that's a lot of happy. *greams*
Jack watches as Remus takes a bite of the cookie he holds out, smirking slightly because that's actually kinda sexy. Jack thinks pretty much everything Remus does is both adorable and sexy, you know. Mya's rambling again. Votever. Jack finishes the rest of the cookie, noticing that a tiny smear of chocolate has ended up on the tip of Remus' nose somehow. Probably because he put a fair amount of chocolate chips in there, not that Jack's complaining. "Here," he says softly, leaning forwards. "You've got a little chocolate there." He kisses it off.

Remus is all quaffley again...yay! Wow he's probably gone more quaffley so far than Polly did ever in 1.0. Shock! He grinned and wiggled his nose all cute-like after Jack had kissed it. "Did you get it all?" Leaning forward, he kissed Jack softly again, then leaned back against the wall, fiddling with the edge of the blanket. "I wanted to tell you something before I end up convincing myself that I probably shouldn't, cause I don't want to mess anything up between us." And no this has nothing to do with Wolfy...JS. We should really think about how that's going to all work out. Jack should find out at some point, shouldn't he? I don't know.

*giggles* Wow - I didn't even think quaffles could go more quaffley than 1.0 Polly, but there you have it. ~flails~ Oooh yes we should figure that out at some point, I guess. Jack senses Remus' obvious nervousness, because you'd have to be blind not to see it, and grins reassuringly. "I'm a pretty open-minded kinda guy, Remus," he reminds him. "It'd take a lot to mess things up with me. Unless you're hiding a third nipple in there? Those things just creep me out," he says with a little shudder for show. He takes Remus' hand loosely in his own and waits for him to speak.

"Definitely not." Remus laughs, grateful to feel Jack's hand in his. He wasn't good at talking about things sometimes and was trying not to freak out a little right now. "It's just..I know I told you pretty early on about the feelings I had for my friend...and I just wanted to let you know that I've accepted the fact that they're not going to be returned, so I can move on from that. I don't want you to think they could get in the way or anything, just sitting there in the background and whatever." He bit his lower lip nervously, hoping he was explaining this well enough. "I mean, I know I can't just be like 'poof!' and they're completely and totally gone or whatever, but I can put them behind me and not focus on them like I was having trouble not doing before. Am I making sense? I'm really sorry, I'm just not...not used to situations like this so I'm not entirely sure how to handle them. I just didn't think it was fair to you, with me being unable to stop focusing on something that isn't ever going to happen. I was trying hard not to also, cause I'm happy with you..." he was going quaffley again, "I sound rather girly right now, don't I?" Yep, he totally said that. He blames Sirius cause the guy was always accusing him of being girly.

Jack just does his thing of being cool while Remus babbles away, just holding his hand and letting him get it all off his chest. "Ok then. Good to know," he says with a little smile. Jack's never been the sort of person to believe that in someone's whole entire life they could only ever have one real love, so Remus' feelings for Sirius weren't a dealbreaker for him. What's important to Jack is that Remus is happy with him, and he is happy with Remus, and that they're both getting what they need from the relationship. He shifts around until he's seated next to Remus, slipping an arm about his shoulders as they snuggle with their legs under the blanket. "Well, I like girls too, so it doesn't matter to me if you act a little 'girly' at times. I just like when Remus acts like Remus, and to hell with all the labels, ok?" he says, kissing the Gryffindor's cheek to reassure him that he wasn't going anywhere. "It's ok, Remus. I'm fine with things as they are," he promises.

"Really?" Remus smiles, leaning against Jack and resting his head on the other man's shoulder. "Good. I just didn't want to upset or annoy you or something. And acting like myself...well, I can do that." he chuckles.

[Jack Smith]

Jack quite likes the slight, warm pressure of Remus' body leaned against his own. "Why would I be annoyed, Remus?" he asks, baffled. "There's a difference between feelings and actions - you can't help that you have feelings for Sirius, but you can decide how you choose to act about it. And for the record, you play the best 'Remus Lupin' I know," he says, chuckling lightly.

Jack says nothing, just gives Remus a tighter squeeze about the shoulders and reaches for another cookie. "You're a good baker," he comments, holding up the new cookie to Remus' lips for another bite. Molly still wants to bake with Remus. JS. Jack has discovered a fondness for feeding Remus. Then again, Jack seems to like the idea of doing lots of things for/to Remus so it's hardly surprising.

"I've had a lot of practice.." He replied before taking a bite of the new cookie. He licked his lips afterward to make sure there wasn't any chocolate on them. "Mostly I like to make pie though...I could make something for you sometime if you'd like. Do you cook?"

Jack swallows. Lip licking. Holyshit. He stares at Remus' lips for a moment, transfixed, before he remembers that he's sitting there holding up a cookie -well, half a cookie now- kind of awkwardly, and pops it into his mouth. And now he has both a delicious cookie, and an excuse not to talk while he recovers from that innocent little display of lip porn. "Not really," he says, because he didn't pass Inner!Molly's Kitchen Induction. "I love to watch, though," he says with a smirk, because yeah, that was a double entendre right there. Naughty Jack.

Hehe. Sorry it took so long to reply, I had to initiate a facebook war with one of my co-workers. XD

Remus is totally oblivious to anything involving lip porn, considering it was just an innocent action. Har har. He also doesn't recognize the dirtiness that was involved with that little admittance by Jack, because innocent!Remus is innocent. Yep yep. "I could always show you a few things sometime...or you could just watch. Whatever you'd like." he shrugs, not realizing that that could be taken a completely different way THANKS TO JACK'S DIRTY MIND.

Grinning, Jack wonders exactly how many different shades of Quaffle Remus would turn if he admitted what was really on his mind right now. "You could show me. I'm pretty good with my hands, so maybe I could help," he offers, and it's a credit to him (ok, so Inner!Lily threatened him with a Bat Bogey Hex, but votever) that he doesn't even smirk. He kisses Remus' temple gently, enjoying just snuggling up together right now.

How many different shades? I'd say about 30...there aren't that many, right? I don't know; I should ask Polly. She's pretty familiar with them all. Oops, now she's mad at me. Votever. "Well, it's generally more fun to work together with someone, so if you want to help then I'm all for it. It'd be fun." Remus smiles, still oblivious to the second meaning their conversation is having. The snuggling was nice and making it warmer so he didn't really feel like moving. He rested his head on Jack's shoulder, one hand playing absently with the collar of Jack's coat - that obviously Amethyst is assuming he's wearing cause it's cold, and people generally wear coats when it's cold and they're even semi-sort of outside.

If Jack doesn't push these double meanings out of his mind right now, he's going to die laughing. So, he forces himself to focus on baking, and not all those other things his dirty little mind is cooking up, his hand curling up around Remus' shoulder until his fingers can graze lightly through Remus' hair. "It's a date," he promises. "Been up to anything else interesting lately? Or uninteresting, for that matter?" he asks, because he likes to hear about Remus' life.

"Hmm...well, I hung out with my friend Lily the other day." OH Crap...that just reminded Amethyst that she needs to reply to that still. Oops. Sorry. "She's a prefect as well, and a lovely girl. I can't handle being around girls a lot of the time...but she's definitely one that I can. We were talking about school stuff and what we're planning on doing for the holidays."
