Hermione just gives a 'whatever you say' look in response to Audrey's assertion, because this is one of those issues that they could go round and round forever on and still never come to an agreement. Then a cheeky grin flashes quickly over her face. "Making lists now? I told you being organised was a good thing!"

Audrey laughed, "Yes yes, whatever you say. Scheduling is a good idea too. So what did you get up to this summer missy?"

"Don't forget how useful colour-coding can be," Hermione mutters helpfully, then she shrugs. "I had a good summer. Nice and quiet, caught up on rather a lot of reading, which was lovely. And yours?"

"I worked and studied for most of it. My parents and are are still hashing out the details but I think I'll get my chemistry degree after all" She was still hugely excited about being able to mix the muggle and the magical worlds together, even if only through her studies.

Hermione beams. "That's brilliant news! Think of the good it could do! Not only for you, but for muggle relations, for creating a greater awareness and understanding of the muggle world amongst the magical," she babbles, her eyes wide with the possibilities.

"Exactly! My parents still seem fixated on me getting a law degree or something similar but that's not what I want. And chemistry will match perfectly with potions! Can you imagine if there was a program offered here for long-distance muggle degrees?" Audrey was all excited about this project that Tam came up with on a whim and really likes.

"Surely it wouldn't be impossible for the Muggle Studies department to coordinate a program like that. I'm sure there'd be plenty of interest from half-blood or muggleborn students, maybe even a couple of purebloods. I imagine it would be a great comfort to parents of muggleborn students in the future, knowing there are still avenues of muggle education available to their children here. My parents were somewhat concerned about that, I remember."

"I think I'll go talk to them about it. I'm sure people would love to do that! Especially if they could start earlier. I'm trying to get mine done in two years and it's tough to find the time." She shrugged, "Have you thought at all about getting one?"

"Honestly, no, I haven't," Hermione blinks. "I've always focused on my magical education and presumed that if I wanted to consider muggle higher education in the future, I could do so then. If it becomes more accessible, though, I'd certainly consider it. I'd have to give some thought as to what field I'd like to pursue, though. Perhaps something like politics, or international relations," she muses, going into lost-in-thought mode.

After walking with her for a few moments in silence Audrey poked her in the side, "Earth to Hermione! You'll need that degree before you change the world love." She was sometimes glad that she had a friend who she could debate all of these things with but then again she felt like she probably shouldn't encourage her nerdiness.

Hermione startles a little when Audrey pokes her in the side and blinks, refocusing herself on the here and now. "I know that, Aud. But it;s only a few short years away now, and there's nothing wrong with planning ahead," she murmurs, smiling a little. "It never hurts to be prepared."

Molly comes strutting down the hallway, as she often does because this hallway is directly between parts, and other parts, of the castle. She sees someone just chilling, and thinks that it's both an odd and interesting place to choose to hang out, so she decides to say hello. That involves getting to talk, after all. "Hi," she says brightly. "Whatcha doin'?"

Molly grins. "Neato then. I was just, like, going for a walk, thought I might catch one of my siblings around or something. Mostly just avoiding Arithmancy homework, but whatever," she shrugs.

"I'm Louis. And I love Ancient Runes. Though it is a bit tricky. But I guess the fact that I'm a Ravenclaw means I like tough classes" he shrugged and laughed a little.

"Weird," Molly comments, giggling a little because to her liking tough classes is like liking baking on a campfire. Sure, it's doable, but why would you bother when you could just use an oven? "Ravenclaws are, like, super smart though, so I guess you can totally handle it, right? I'm a Gryffindor, so I guess you could say I was, like, totally brave in picking Arithmancy," she jokes. "What year are you in?" she asks, curious.

"I'm in sixth," Molly says, twirling a strand of hair around her finger. "My brothers are in seventh, though, and my younger sister is in fifth. But we're all in Gryff too - it's, like, genetic or something. Isn't it weird how that happens in some families, but not all of them? Sometimes I totally wonder if the Sorting Hat just does stuff at random, and we all, like, just act like we belong in whatever house we end up in," she chatters.

Louis shrugged "I guess so. My family's all over the place. I have two younger sisters, one's in Gryffindor and one's in Hufflepuff. And here I am, in Ravenclaw. So three brothers huh?" He chuckles to himself at the girls inscesant chattering

"Huh, that's cool. Your family is, like, diverse!" Molly frowns a little and hurries to clear up Louis' misunderstanding. "No, I have two brothers - Gideon and Fabian - they're twins, the ones in seventh year. But Alice is my sister, she's the one in fifth. There's the four of us altogether. Which our parents say is totally enough, but whatever. I think they, like, piked out on having more kids after having to deal with us all for a few years. Plus, you know - we're kinda close in age and all, so I bet we were super tiring to have to look after all at once when we were babies. And then we learned to walk and talk and there was, like, no stopping us!" she says with a cheeky grin. "So what years are your sisters?"

Louis shook his head at his mistake "Right, sister, I'm sorry. My sisters are fifth and sixth years. Dominique is a fifth year and in Gryffindor and Victoire is a sixth year and in Hufflepuff. And they both like to give me hell" he laughed

Molly giggles. She knows all about annoying little sisters. Not only does she have one of her own, but she gets to be one, too. "Well it is, like, a little sister's duty to give her big brothers hell! Huh - your family is all scrunched up too, like ours. It's kind of cool, don't you think, all getting to grow up together? I would be totally bummed if there was years and years and years between me and my siblings." She pauses a second, considering Louis' and his sisters' names. "Your family has totally cool names. Are your parents, like, French film buffs or whatever?"
