"Of course not," he says quickly, suddenly realizing how Remus must feel about this considering how close he was with Sirius and how Sirius had reacted to Viktor being gay. "I'd never tell anyvon. I'd let you do that...Venever you're ready, of course. No rush. But your secret is safe with me," he smiles at his buddy, glad that Remus was comfortable with confiding in him about this.

It was going to be weird, not being able to tell Sirius about this, but Remus just didn't see Sirius reacting well to hearing that Remus was gay. Especially after how he'd reacted to Viktor being gay. So, yeah, Remus didn't want anyone to know right now - especially his best friend. "Thanks, Viktor. I'm glad I know I can rely on you." he gave Viktor a nice smile. The awkward was sort of starting to wear off - he was feeling lots better now that he'd pulled himself out of the Nile.

"I'm alvays here if you ever need to talk. Have you thought about vot you're going to do now? Or are you just sort of going vith the flow? Because I've had lots of gay friends. They've all used different methods of getting more comfortable vith the idea of being gay if you vant any advice," he says with a shrug.

"I have no idea." Remus shrugs, "I guess I'm more of a 'going with the flow' sort of guy, sometimes, but if you have any advice then I'd love to hear it." Remus has just stepped out of the closet and ~~has finally reached Narnia~~ is just getting used to this whole thing, so he appreciates how helpful Viktor is being.

"Alright. Um. Vell, the main thing is that you need to be comfortable vith yourself vich I think you already are for the most part. I mean, you're comfortable enough to tell me, right?" he says with a small smile. "And it helps to say it out loud. I had a friend that just stood in front of the mirror and kept saying to himself 'I'm gay' and he said that helped him. It's different for everyvon. My friend, Cedric,-- Vell, he did other things to get used to the idea..." Like pineapple picnic sex.

"Comfortable...right." Remus isn't comfortable with all of himself, but Viktor doesn't know the other part of Remus yet. So he can't mention that. "I'm not so sure standing in front of a mirror and telling myself 'I'm gay' will do much for me, other than make me feel funny, but I can give that a go. I just..don't really know anything about dating a guy. Which I assume is kind of different than dating a girl - which you know I have zip experience for."

"Oh. Um. Vell, I never exactly dated a girl before, so I vouldn't know. But yeah, I'd assume they'd be different considering how different guys and girls are. I don't know how to compare them, really. But...Vell, I can't really explain it to you. It's something you figure out vith experience, you know?"

Remus has no idea how he's going to get any experience - considering he doesn't really know many gay guys very well, besides Rad and Viktor - and he generally isn't the 'let's go out, be social, and meet guys' type. "Well then..I guess I'll just have to, er, wait and see...yeah." he sighed, "I doubt I'll be any good at dating guys either." Remus has a vision of himself growing up old and alone..with dogs. He'll be the equivalent of the old cat ladies you hear about, except with dogs.

Viktor smiles and shakes his head. "Not true. You just need to be confident. Trust me. Lots of guys vould be lucky to date a sweet, cute, lovable guy like you, Remus. If the guys here knew you vere gay, they'd be all over you."

Remus smiled softly and looked down, putting a hand in his pocket to relax back against the wall. His hand touched the present for Sirius he had in there and his smile half-disappeared. Well, there was one person who probably wouldn't be happy to know their best friend was gay. "Confidence is something I have trouble with." he shrugged lightly, "You're really too kind, Viktor. I appreciate everything you're doing for me."

Remus is not looking red right now. Nope, not at all. "You're just saying that...would you? I mean, you don't have to, but...er," he flails, feeling awkward again. OMG YES. FIRST TIME IN 2.0, REMUS FLAILS. He wasn't going to be the flailing type...but whatever, I've missed it. Remus just NEEDS to flail.

Now that he wasn't stuck in the Nile, he really couldn't deny that Viktor was good looking. Before he refused to really see it, but now he couldn't help noticing.
