Re: A Random Corridor
No, bitch, it's your job to do the sucking.- Sirius
"Right, right, we'll see-- even as much as I dislike the guy, the balls are serious business, and I can't honestly say I'd be cool with just takin' advantage of the poor guy and endangering those bits. It just isn't right, maybe you've gotta be a guy to feel that way," he laughed, shrugging. "But knowing him he'll do something else worthy of re-enactment, in which case I demand you sell tickets to the show! So how's life, other than dickwad?"

Re: A Random Corridor
HAHAHAHAHAHA FUNNY. No.
"Oh, yeah. I'm not so cruel to do it for the purposes of doing it. He'll earn it. But things are alright I suppose. Er, I guess you could say Draco and I are on at least talking terms now, ever since Halloween." She shrugged, not sure how to explain that situation. He really was trying and she just kept pushing him back, keeping him at a safe distance as much as she could manage, not willing to trust him again just yet. Probably far too complicated to explain without a bit to think it over. She shrugged. "He's trying."

Re: A Random Corridor
"Trying is good," he said decidedly, offering her an encouraging smile. "Making an effort for you can only be a good thing, whatever you decide you need or want from him, be it friendship or more. I hope things work out, 'cause you deserve to be happy," he said.
Re: A Random Corridor
"Thanks, Rad. I've missed him. As sucky as it is between us sometimes, I really do miss when we're not talking." She had a faint smile on her face, but it was one of genuine happiness. "Maybe it's cheesy, but I don't quite feel myself without him. We grew up together after all. And I'm... or at least at one point I was... in love with him." It felt strange to say it out loud now, especially because she wasn't so sure about it. "I'm just afraid someone will think he did this to me. And that's by far not the case, despite his past record." She'd gestured to her face, and that had been her worst fear about it. She wasn't worried about the injury itself or what it looked like or any of that. She'd only worried that someone would blame Draco for it and go to do something about it without asking her first what had really happened.
Re: A Random Corridor
Caradoc sighed and nodded in understanding, crossing his arms as he inspected it once more. "I can see why someone would think that unfortunately, Pansy. But the best you can do is just hope it heals fast, maybe see the school nurses? I'm shit at healing myself, honestly, I'm hopeless at it or I'd try," he said, shrugging, as he considered her other words. "At one point you were? But... you're not, anymore?"
Re: A Random Corridor
"Well, I got it patched up alright. It should be fine in a couple days." Pansy shrugged, not really seeing the injury as a big deal. High pain tolerance and a general I-don't-give-a-shit attitude helped. "Well... I'm not really. I mean, I sort of made myself fall out of love with him after that whole mess, you know? Only now he's trying to make it right, and just seeing that he's willing to put that much effort into it... and he says he missed me and I'm trying not to let myself get won over too easily in case it's all going to happen again, I just don't know." She figured she'd start rambling if she kept talking, and so she fell silent, chewing on her lip as she wished she could figure this out.
Re: A Random Corridor
"I'm glad you're being smart about it, Pansy. You're taking this the right way, I think-- slow and mistrustful, but not opposed to second chances. It's quite mature of you, and I don't think I'd be able to do the same in your case, honestly. If you need to talk ever, don't forget I'm here."
Re: A Random Corridor
"Thanks. You're a good friend to have, you know." She gave him another hug, because it felt good hearing she was doing the right thing, at least by someone else's opinion besides her own. Not that it would have changed her mind if he'd told her that was all right, it was just nice to have someone agreeing with her. It made it easier in a way to try and keep Draco at a distance when all she wanted was to hug him and be with him like before. "We'll definitely be taking it very slow and see what comes from it. No telling, really." Her mind wandered off a little, wondering about the future, wondering if they'd ever be back to something like 'normal' or if they'd ever been considered normal in the first place. Probably not.
Re: A Random Corridor
Illie is walking down this corridor. Not sure what she is doing because she isn't with Marcus. So, she's just walking nowhere in particular.
Re: A Random Corridor
Sirius is wandering about, scoping for chics, as usual, when he sees a very familiar face, and smiles. "Hey there Millicent, how's it goin'?" he asked, flashing a bright smile at her.

Re: A Random Corridor
She jumps a little when she hears her name. It was a guy speaking, and it wasn't Marcus. She relaxed a little when she realized who it was. "Hey Sirius. It's going pretty great actually. How about yourself?" She smiled then blushed for some reason.
Re: A Random Corridor
"I'm doing fantastically," he said, grinning widely as he thought about Parvati, and how much he didn't care about Remus and Jack, not one little bit. "What've you been up to? You look considerably better than the last time we met," he remarked, because Sirius is feeling like Captain Obvious tonight, apparently.

Re: A Random Corridor
"Glad to hear it." She smiled again and laughed a little. "Yeah, I probably look more...alive now. I've just been catching up on the schoolwork I've missed, and hanging out with Marcus mostly." Her life was completely uninteresting. Guess that's what you get if you have only two friends.
Re: A Random Corridor
WELL NOW YOU HAVE THREE. Sirius needs friends that are not scary redheads or Marauders, yeah. "Well, that sounds nice. Marcus? Are you two, like, together now?" he asked curiously, because Sirius is not exactly in the gossip loop.

Re: A Random Corridor
YAY FOR FRIENDS. Illie smiles widely and blushes. "Yeah. He broke it off with Andi after he heard about what she ,uh, did." She cleared her throat. She didn't exactly like thinking about what happened. "I always knew we'd be together eventually, and now we are." She grinned like a loon.
Re: A Random Corridor
"Well, I guess that's awesome for you and all," he said, genuinely glad to see her looking happy, instead of so pathetically depressed, like the first time he'd seen her. "Er, you haven't heard from Andromeda, have you? I haven't actually seen my cousin in a while-- not that I'm complaining," he laughed.

Re: A Random Corridor
She shook her head. "No, and I'm thankful for that. I have a feeling our meeting wouldn't go over too well. Especially if she has her sisters with her, then I'd be dead for sure." She nodded slowly. "I'm not a very good duelist, and I would stand no chance against those three." She looked a little scared thinking about it.
Re: A Random Corridor
"Oh, don't worry about them-- I've been meaning to find those bitches and have a word with them, they won't bother you," he said reassuringly.

Re: A Random Corridor
She smiled a little weakly. She knew they were already probably plotting her demise. "Well, I usually try to spend as much time as I can with Marcus. I know he won't let anything happen to me. Thanks again, by the way, for telling us what happened. I was so terrified." She let out a little nervous laugh.
Re: A Random Corridor
"No problem-- hey, someone needed to let you know about the crazy bitch," he said, shrugging. "I'm just happy to see you're doing alright. You're a sweet girl."

Re: A Random Corridor
She blushed redder than a quaffle. "Oh. Well. Thanks. Right. Um. You are too. I mean, you're not a girl, but you are sweet too. I..I'll just stop talking now." She looked down at her feet. She hated when she did that, and was wanting to punch herself right now.
Re: A Random Corridor
Sirius chuckled, leaning against the wall and smiling at her sexily, because Sirius is just sexy like that. "Well thank you, babe. I've been told I'm quite sweet," he said with a playful wink.

Re: A Random Corridor
...that' totally not helping....
She glanced up just in time to see him wink at her, which only made her blush more. "Right well. That's new for a Gryffindor. I mean...Um. Nothing against your house, it's just most I've seen are big dummies." Wow, 'big dummies'. What was she, a ten year old. "Not you though! You're totally cool." She just needed to shut up.

Re: A Random Corridor
>_>
<_<
I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT.
Sirius flips his hair out of his eyes as he continues to smile at her, rather amused. "No hard feelings-- I have to say, all the Slytherins I know are-- well, big dummies wasn't the term I'd use, but you know, I suppose it's appropriate," he chuckled, twirling a lock of his black hair around his finger.

Re: A Random Corridor
....
She was still bright red and couldn't hold his gaze for longer than 5 seconds. "Well, I'm actually very smart." He probably wasn't talking about schoolwork. She had to get back to safe topics that wouldn't make her looking like a bumbbling idiot. "Oh, and Slytherin is totally winning the Quidditch Cup this year." Boys liked to talk about Quidditch, right?
