"Why not, Caradoc. I could think of quite a few to use on you..but i won't soil my tongue any further." he bent to view a promising looking plant, only to turn away in disgust. "For the amount of unicorns in this forest you'd think i'd find more of this herb."

Caradoc shrugged and promptly grabbed onto a thick tree branch with his arms and swung himself up, perching high in the branches and looking down at the forest below. Wearing a grin like the Cheshire cat, he chuckled at the amusing sight of Raphael's face. "And what herb are you looking for, that you can't get via mail order? Unless you particularly enjoy prancing about in the forest, but judging by your tired demeanor and audible breathing troubles, long walks aren't your thing. It's a pity, how no one bothers to exercise anymore, you wouldn't be out of breath so often if you actually got off your ass. But then, you healers don't do a lot of moving, I suppose."

Raphael shot the boy a glare. "I have a lung condition. No amount of exercise in the world could make me stronger. And why should i mail order, when i can get it fresh?" he took a deep breath. "Herbs are more potent, usually, when they're freshly picked."

Rad blinked, and brushed his hair back. "My apologies," he said, not particularly caring about offending Raphael, who was nothing short of an asshole, the way he saw it. "Why not send your brother to do it? He certainly seems capable of performing such a menial task without overworking himself. In fact, from what I can tell, he's the kind of guy who wouldn't mind a little roughin' up in the forest. I have to say, I like him," he replied, grinning that mocking grin.

Raphael froze at the mention of Gabriel. "Stay away from him. He might act like he can play along, but...-" he shook his head. "Anyway, he's too good for you. What are you, some backwoods Yank from a family with a long lineage?" he laughed acidly. "My family has been the Purebloods of America before the first settlers came over. He's too good for you, so stay away from him." He had his wand partly out of it's sheath, ready in case this idiot attacked him.

"But what? Don't think he'd be able to handle me? I'll admit it, I might be a bit too much man for your sweet brother, but he certainly seemed to think he wouldn't mind giving it a try anyway. And too good for me? I somehow don't see him agreeing with that sentiment, Raphael," he laughed coldly, leaping out of the tree gracefully onto his feet, hand on his wand, just in case this lunatic decided to snap again. "And since when did blood line matter? What are you, one of those stuck up, elitist, pureblood supremacists? Then again, what would one expect from someone from down south, if not a mindless, spineless bigot? See, this is why I like your brother, that whole blood thing didn't seem to matter, when he was ampin' up the flirt with me," he continued taunting, ever smirking as well.

"He'll flirt, but anything more than that and he always gets messed up..." he whispered, as all of him went cold. "Blood matters if you're royalty. Our mother is the Queen of New Orleans, i told you that." he slammed his book closed and stood, all thoughts about the herb forgotten. "And play with him all you wish, maybe this time i wont be there to fix him, after you've broken him. See ya, Caradoc...and let's hope i don't see you where i can curse you freely." And with that he stepped out of the forest to scold his brother.

"Overly dramatic, pompous freak," he muttered, rolling his eyes as he walked along the forest's edge like he'd planned on doing, disgusted with finding yet another pureblood fanatic, though luckily he hadn't encountered many, as of yet, at Hogwarts. "And if you'd wanted to curse me, what better time and place than here and now, out of sight of prying eyes? You had your free chance, coward," he said aloud, unsure if Raphael would still be able to hear him, as he wandered off, then back to the castle.

Remus is just sort of taking a walk. He's sort of tired because it's so close to the full moon, but he looks rather cheerful. It'd been great to spend time with James and Sirius in the dorm, and talking to Viktor before that had left a smile on his face too. And now cue Dean! YAY BROTHER TIME!!

Dean was going to go for a walk, maybe find something he could draw in the forest. Instead he spotted his brother, and sprinted over to him, flailing his arms. He made a rather large amount of noise as he ran, and he tripped on a tree root when he was still about five feet away from Remus. No matter though, he popped right back up and smiled. "Brother! How's it going??" He gave him a huge hug.

OMG *dies* Visualizing that was just...adorable. *loves you lots* Remus turns when he hears a rather large amount of noise heading his way. He watches as his brother trips then pops back up to give him a huge hug. Laughing, he hugs Dean back then pulls away slightly to give him a concerned look. "Are you alright? Didn't hurt yourself there when you tripped, did you? I'm alright, myself."

He was still smiling. "Yeah! I'm great! Oh that!" He pointed to the ground where he had fallen. "That was nothing! How have you been?" He looked down and brushed some dirt and leaves off his shirt.

I keep running it through my mind over and over again...it's just so adorable and funny!

"Well, as long as you're alright." Remus likes to take care of his brother. *nods* "I've been well. There's a few things I have to tell you, though I have no clue how I'm going to."

Dean looked concerned. "Oh. Just let it out. Are you okay? Do you want to sit?" He looked around for some tree stump for them to sit on. He didn't find any, but saw a nice tree root that looked inviting. He headed over to it, slowly, waiting for his brother to get things off his chest.

Remus joined Dean in heading over to the tree root to sit. "Well...something may have, well, did, happen when I was baking with Viktor the other day. And I was totally denying what he had said may be true. Then I went on that date with Ange - which was okay, nothing bad happened, it was just awkward - and we figured out pretty early on during it that nothing was going to happen between us and that just being friends would be great. And I'd been thinking way too much over the past couple of days before that about what Viktor had said...and...well, I ended up realizing that he was right." Wow, way to be vague, Remus. Way. To. Be. Vague.

Dean sat, and stared at Remus. Needless to say, he was confused. "Okay. So. You hung with Viktor," He could vaguely see where this was heading, but didn't want to assume anything. "And your date with Ange didn't go well," he nodded. "What did Viktor say? What was he right about?"

Remus sat as well, finding it hard to return his brother's stare. "Well..he said that the reason I may have so much difficulty with girls is because I'm...gay. I'm not sure if that's entirely why I have trouble with girls, but he was right, Dean. I'm gay. And I felt really uncomfortable telling you, just because I've been so worried about how you'll respond to hearing it..."

Dean smiled and pulled his brother in close for a hug. "We always wondered, me and mum. We wanted you to tell us when you were ready. You have nothing to be ashamed of, Remus. I am really glad you told me. I will support you no matter who you love. " He pulled back and smiled.

Remus gapes then dies a little inside, but he does definitely appreciate the hug. "You guys...wondered? Dang, makes it sound like everyone knew before I did." Bwahaha, how true, Remus. How true. Except your close buddies. Somehow almost everyone besides the Marauders - who spend tons of time with him on, like, a daily basis - would figure out that Remus was gay before he did. How fun. "Well, I definitely feel a lot better now having told you, thanks, Dean. So...how's it going with Luna?" Hey, he had to ask.

"Well, you were never able to talk girls, but always seemed more comfortable around guys. I'm so glad you finally realized yourself, you'll be so much happier now I think." He smiled again, totally cool with his brother's sexuality. He looked down when he brought up Luna. He wasn't too keen on the subject change, but since Remus was honest with him, Dean would be honest with Remus. "Oh. I don't know. We are going to have study sessions, I'm sure you like that. I think she likes someone else though. I guess I'll just have to wait and see." He sighed and shrugged.

"Hmm, maybe you should have talked to me ages ago about your's and mum's suspicions. That might have helped me." he playfully shoved Dean's shoulder. "So, study sessions, huh? That sounds like it could be lots of fun." Yeah, Remus would think that - he wasn't exactly talking about the hanging out part of the sessions, he was talking about the studying part. Haha. "Maybe sometime you should just tell her how you feel and see what she says? Otherwise you may never know. Though if she likes someone else that could make things slightly awkward." Remus knows awkward fairly well. It's his middle name, as well.

"Well, we didn't want to push you." He laughed as he is shoved. "I can't tell her I like her. Someone told me once, you never tell a girl you like her, it makes you look stupid. I don't want to make things awkward either. I think I'll just wait. See how things go. I don't know. I feel weird not knowing what to do. It sucks!" He laughed again. "What about you? Is there something going on with Viktor?"

"Anything else you and mum are suspecting of me that I should know about?" he laughed. "I think that makes sense, Dean. See how things go, but don't miss your chance. I'll be cheering for you!" he smiled. "Well, I somehow managed to ask Viktor on a date...I think I was a bit confusing at first but he said yes and so we're going to do something at some point. Haven't planned anything yet." Not until after the crazy shower scene...and it's going to be one of the most adorable dates EVER.
