Pansy laughed as he pressed his face down into her coat at her neck, but soon they were jumped on by a once again bored Max, a ripped up hat hanging from his jaws. "Max!" Pansy reprimanded him, but he looked rather proud of his work, as if that was what he thought was meant to be done to hats. "Sorry about your hat, Draco. I think he ate half of it." She pulled hers off and put it on his head, glad it was just a plain green Slytherin Quidditch one, and not a silly girly one that she couldn't expect him to wear.

Draco laughed and held up the mauled hat, "Eh, it wasn't a particular favourite anyway so I can't be too mad at him," Draco reached out and grabbed Max by the scruff and pulled him over so the puppy was lying in the snow, trapped by Draco's arm, "Can I?" He scratched the back of his head and gave the puppy kisses while avoiding those that Max tried to give in return. "Thanks Pans, but if you get cold you tell me okay?" He glanced over at her and in his moment of distraction Max lunged at him and got a solid lick right up his face, "Aww Max, really?"

Pansy smiled softly at him, watching him play with Max a little. "I'll be fine. Promise." She laughed when Max finally got him good, a full out slobbery kiss on one side of his face. Sitting up a little, she kissed the other side of his face before leaning back again, smiling up at him quite amused with herself and her dog. "We just like to give you kisses!"

Draco laughed and gave her a kiss on the cheek while ruffling Max's fur. The puppy sat there giving him a cheerful look, panting with his tongue flopping out, the picture of devious innocence. "Well I know I prefer kisses from one of you." He winked at her, "So sorry Pansy but Max and I are going to have to run away together."

Pansy pouted at him, sitting up and scooting away from him a little bit. She looked at him with the saddest face she could muster, between small laughs, and wrapped her arms sadly around her knees. "Wow. Alright. I guess, I guess I'll just go live alone. Forever unloved. Always just second best and never good enough." She slowly got up and started to walk away, holding out the poker face until she'd at least turned around, counting down the seconds until she knew Draco would come after her.

Draco chuckled as she poured. As she got up Max pounced on his chest and pinned him down. Smirking at te puppy Draco shoved him off and reached put, rolling slightly to grab Pansy's ankle causing her to fall into the snow, Max instantly on top of her. Still laughing Draco crawled through the snow over to her, with his lips the barest inch from hers he whispered, so quiet he couldnt know if she had heard, "You're the only person I want to kiss."

She felt his hand close around her ankle, but it was too late and she ended up on the ground in a second. Max ran over to her, happy that she was down on his level again but she pushed him aside as Draco made his was toward her. She looked up into his eyes as he appeared above her again, a breath away from her. She listened closely as he whispered, a smalle smirk forming on her lips before she whispered back just as quietly. "Then kiss me like you mean it."

I must interject right now and just say how much I fucking love Panco.

Draco smirked and slid a hand behind her head, his fingers in her hair and the snow, his other hand supporting him over her. His lips closed the gap and if there was ever a moment for violins and fireworks this was it. He felt as though he was falling into her, losing himself and yet at the same time he was still acutely aware of everything around him, it was a sensation unlke any other. For a change Max was just sitting there, actually getting the message that this was not the time to interrupt unless he wanted to end up like Toby.

Pansy flung her arms around his neck, holding him close as they kissed. For the first time in a long time, she wasn't thinking about the future or things around them or her parents or school or dueling or Death Eater things. Pansy wasn't thinking about anything at all. Her body was just acting of its own accord to kiss him back desperately, never wanting to let him go or ever imagine that he would leave from her life. Her brain for once, was silent.

Draco held her close and kissed her, there was no way to describe the kiss. It was everything at once, passionate, loving, pure, it was all of their past heartache and their current elation being shared between them, embraced and loved. After time had passed, he didn't think either of them could tell you how long, he pulled back from her, blinking, and slowly met her eyes, not knowing what to say.

It really was everything for them, both the happiness of the moment and the time they've had together recently, and complete forgiveness for things they'd said and done in the past. It was all forgotten, at least for now, as far as Pansy was concerned. She looked up at him, gasping slightly from the kiss's intensity. She didn't speak either, words felt insufficient after something like that, she just smiled a tiny bit, ran her hand over his cheek and lost herself in his eyes.

Draco wanted to say something, some little quip about meaning it but he knew that would just cheapen the moment. He returned her small smile and lay there, their breath mingling in the cold air. After more time had passed he leaned in and gave her one soft chaste kiss before slowly moving away, sitting up and looking over to see Max lying in the snow watching them.

Pansy stayed where she was for a moment, staring up at the sky now that she could see it when Draco moved to sit up. Finally she followed along and sat up as well, wrapping her arms around his arm, resting her head on his shoulder as she sat beside him in the snow, watching Max who was interestedly watching them. They sat there quietly for a while, until finally Pansy shivered and knew Draco would tell her they needed to get inside, goodness forbid she have one shiver. She smiled at him and stood up, offering him her hand to pull him up as well.

Draco felt her shiver against him but before he could say anything she got up and offered him a hand. He smiled at her and took her hand. As he stood so did Max and he walked over and butted against Draco's leg. Draco petted his head and slid an arm around Pansy and still without saying anything he lead her back to the school and the warmth, Max darting ahead then running back to them.

Pansy leaned down for a moment to pet Max before he took off for the castle, knowing they were headed back inside now. She leaned into Draco as he put his arm around her, resting her head on his shoulder a little as they walked. It had turned out to be a really nice morning out in the snow, much better than hanging around inside the castle. A change of scenery always did good things to brighten up the routine, and doing it with Draco was even better. But the cold drove them back inside, the wind chasing them all the way back to the castle doors, and they hurried back to the common room to reheat.

[Ted Tonks]

Ted has spent the last hour melting snow and clearing off the grass from as much water as he can and he's set up a goal so he can play football. Ted has a very very VERY extreme case of cabin fever.

[Arthur Weasley]

Arthur Weasley sees Ted by the lake and decides to figure out what he's doing. "Hey, what are you doing?"

[Ted Tonks]

Ted did one of those cool scorpion kicks and turned around to see who was talking, "Hi, I'm playing football." He offered Arthur his hand, "Ted Tonks."

[Arthur Weasley]

"You're playing footieball?" Arthur asks excitedly. "Like the Muggle sport? I've always wanted to see some play footieball. You see, my entire family are wizards, and I've always wanted to learn more about Muggles. Oh, and my name's Arthur Weasley."

[Ted Tonks]

Ted laughed, "Yes, and it's football, not footieball. I'm muggleborn actually." He jogged to the goal and collected the ball then went back over to Arthur, "So you've never seen a football before?"

[Arthur Weasley]

"No, I haven't. You see, I want to work in the Misuse of Muggle Artifacts Office someday, and I love learning about all the different Muggle things. Can you teach me about footie- football? And anything else you know about Muggles," Arthur says very quickly, looking at the football as though it was some strange object from another planet.

[Ted Tonks]

Ted laughed, "Well I think I know pretty much everything about muggles seeing as I basically am one." He held out the ball, "Well this is a football, when you play football you can only touch the ball with your hands if you're the goalie."

[Arthur Weasley]

"Really?" Arthur asked. "Then how does the ball get from place to place if you don't throw it or levitate it? And does the goalie block three hoops, like in Quidditch?"

[Ted Tonks]

Ted laughed, "You kick it! Like this," he dropped the ball and kicked it into the goal then pointed at it, "That's the goal, we don't have hoops, just the one big goal on either end of the field."

[Arthur Weasley]

"Wow," Arthur said, his eyes widening. "So you use your feet? That's amazing. And only one goal? That seems too easy. But I guess without a broom, it would be hard to do all three. Can I try kicking the footsieball?"
