Re: The Rocks by the Lake
Viktor chuckled. "No, you don't need a reason. Just vondering," he said with a smile. "Unless you vant to list off some reasons for vy you might be happy today," he said jokingly because, you know, it's fun making lists of why you're happy. A happy list, if you will.

Bea just kinda shrugged. "I always have tons of reasons to be happy. They usually outweigh the other ones so that's what comes out," she said. "My number one reason, if you're curious, is the sunrise over there," she said, smiling and nodding her head towards the horizon. "And you know what?" She tapped a finger on the tip of her nose thoughtfully. "I think my number two would be you," she chirped, still smiling.

Viktor grins happily at the second thing because he loves making people happy. "Really?" he asks sounding somewhat surprised. "Vell, I'm glad I make you happy. You make me pretty happy too," he replied, assuming that Bea had this effect on a lot of people. "And the sunrise does look really nice this morning. That's sort of the reason I came out here," he admits with a small smile.

"Really?" she asked. "I'm so glad you did! I love watching the sun rise. It's so beautiful!" she proclaimed, twirling around on a large boulder. "Do you come out here often?" she asked as the skirt of her light sun dress fluttered back down around her legs.

"Vell, I'm new to Hogvarts so I have only been here for a few days. It's my first year at this school," he explains kindly. "But so far I've spent a lot of time out here. I vos over in this area vith my friend, Cedric, not too long ago." He smiled as he watched her twirl around happily.

"Oh wow," she said her wide eyes trained on his face. "So you went to a different wizarding school before this?" she asked though it was mostly a rhetorical question. "That seems so strange! I couldn't imagine learning magic anywhere but here," she said. "What was your old school like?" she asked here eyes still fixed on him. This question was not, in fact, rhetorical.

"I vent to Durmstrang. It's up in the North so it vos pretty cold, but the grounds vere really nice even if the castle vos much smaller. I like this school much more, of course. The classes are more diverse here. Ve vere not offered some of the classes you have here," he explained with a slight shrug. He really never was fond of Durmstrang, but he didn't know that other schools like Hogwarts were out there. He assumed they were all pretty similar when it came to what type of material was taught until he actually came here during the Tri-Wizard tournament.

"Oh how interesting!" Bea gushed in a way that might seem slightly fake if you didn't know her. "I haven't really been outside of Great Britain," she said then added, "Not that I don't love it here. I'd just love to see some other countries and learn about other cultures. It sounds so fascinating!" She sat down on the same boulder she'd been standing on, folding up her legs criss-cross-applesauce. "Have you met many people?" she asked.

Viktor kept grinning. This girl just had that vibe about her that made everyone she talked to happy apparently. "Quite a few, actually. The people here are all really friendly and velcoming so far. Most people are from my own house, but I've met some people out on the grounds and in the library as vell. All of them really nice."

"Your house," she muttered to herself as she glanced at his robes, which she hadn't noticed sported the Gryffindor crest. "Yeah. There are loads of Gryffies," she said. "No wonder they're the majority of the people you've met are from there. I actually haven't talked to many people yet this year," she said, just dawning on this herself as she said it. "Usually I'm much more of a social butterfly," she explained.

"I can see you being the social von," he said with a slight smirk. "You seem pretty friend to me so far. Who do you usually hang out vith around here, Bea?" he asked curiously, wondering if her friends were as chipper as she was being.

Bea shrugged. "It really depends on the year," she said. "Of course, I always hang out with my sister, Nikki. Have you met her?" she asked. "She's a lot like me... Then again, we are twins," she said and laughed. "I just hang out with whoever can deal with my energy, I guess," she figured, grinning at the foreign boy.

"You have a twin? That's pretty cool. I've never had any siblings," he says. "Is she in Hufflepuff as vell? I don't think I have met her yet. I don't remembering talking to anyvon vith the name Nikki since I have arrived here."

"Mhm," Bea nodded. "I love her like no other," she said, grinning. "She's not in Hufflepuff though. Sorting Hat put her in Ravenclaw, big brainiac that she is. And you can't have met her yet. You would definitely remember if you had," she assured him. "She's almost as memorable as me" she joked.

"Ravenclaw, huh? I actually haven't met any of them sadly. Almost as memorable, eh? I'm sure it runs in the family," he said with a laugh. "I can only imagine how much fun it must be at your house vith all of you together."

That set Bea off in a fit of giggles. "You have no idea!" she said through her laughter. Her face flushed pink as she tried to control her giggles and failed, leaving her practically rolling on the boulder with laughter. Yeah... she's a bit insane. Also a family trait. "You'll have to meet her sometime," she said after her laughter slowed down a bit.

Re: The Rocks by the Lake
Viktor chuckled slightly, finding this new friend of his to be rather adorable. "I'll definitely be sure to meet her sometime soon then if she's as nice and friendly as you are," he said as he smiled down at Bea rolling around on the rock.

"I'm sure you will," she said smiling. Bea felt her tummy go rumbly. "Uh, I'm sorry, but my stomach is ordering me to get some food," she said, "I can't just ignore it. That would be rude. Want to walk up to the Great Hall with me?" she asked.

Viktor grinned. "That vould be rude. Can't have that now, can ve?" He stood up and held out his hand to help up his new friend. "I'll go vith you too. I guess it's almost time for breakfast anyvay." And with that, Viktor and his new buddy walked up to the castle to go eat some yummy good.

Dem walks out of the castle and onto the Hogwarts grounds and goes to the rocks beside the lake. She climbs up onto one of them and sits there looking over at the lake.
Re: The Rocks by the Lake
Cho sighed as she walked down to the rocks by the lake. It had been a long and eventful day, and now it was time for her favorite night time event. Stargazing. It was always nice around Hogwarts. Without the city lights, the stars appeared bright against the backdrop of the smoky sky. Cho climbed up on a rock, and was about to lie down when she saw a faint silhouette. Looking closer, she saw that it was a girl. "Hello there." She smiled. "I didn't think anyone else would be out here." She said.

Demelza heard someone and looked over. "Hi there. I didn't expect anyone else out here either. I'm Demelza, its nice to meet you."
Re: The Rocks by the Lake
Cho smiled at the girl called Demelza. "Pleasure. I'm Cho." She said. She sat down next to Demelza. "what bring you out here?" She asked.

"Its nice to meet you Cho." She said smiling. "I really like the way Hogwarts looks at night. Its just so pretty. I like to come out here and just look at how beautiful it is. What about you? Why are you out here?"
Re: The Rocks by the Lake
"Pretty much the same reason." She confessed. "The stars look so nice at night, and between the crickets and the soft lapping of the lake, it's so peaceful. it's a nice place to relax." So, they came out here for the same reason. It was safe to say they had some things in common.
