Viktor would love if Rad's hand moved up a tad more, but he should probably think about how Remus would feel about this situation. Yeah, he wouldn't like that. "There's a first time for everything, I guess," he says as he looks Rad in the eye, and as much as he doesn't want to, he removes Caradoc's hand from his leg.

Caradoc can't help but burst out laughing, looking at the expression on Viktor's face as he removed Rad's hand. "Damn, you must seriously have a good reason, because you so don't look happy about stopping me," he snorted, smirking at his friend. "Oh, men like you, with your 'morals' and 'logic' and 'reason,' don't you know, none of those games you all play, dancin' around it like you don't want it, when you so clearly do, none of that shit means anything, in the end. It's just a matter of time, you and I, Viktor. Why resist?" he taunted, taking Viktor's chin between his fingers and tilting it up to look Rad in the eyes, as Rad himself stood up again. "Is this what you call playing the love game? Because let me remind you baby," he said, leaning down and brushing his lips against Viktor's ear, as the hand not holding Viktor's chin slid 'round his neck, the fingers tickling the nape, "I never lose. You will give in. That I can promise you," he finished, letting go of him as he turned around and walked away back into the castle, loving the feeling of a challenge.

Viktor ignores the laughing because although he didn't want to move, he didn't show it on his face. Just clearing that up for anyone creeping this thread. VIKTOR CAN HIDE HIS EMOTIONS. Moving on. Viktor rolled his eyes and got up to go back to his dorm, feeling good about his decision because he would never want to hurt Remus in anyway, shape, or form. Nope. So he leaves, planning on never, ever, ever giving in because Viktor Krum never turns down a challenge.

Viktor walks here and sits down by the edge of the lake. He's pleasantly surprised when Kiora the duck swims up and hops out of the water, waddling over to him to say hello. "Hey, Kiora! I'm sorry, girl. I don't have anything for you," he says sadly as he gently strokes the top of her tiny head. Kiora isn't mad though, because she just ate some plants or something so it's all good. She just quacks happily and lets Viktor pet her. Aw.

Bea skips down the the lake because she hasn't been out in FOREVER. Maybe she'd see Viktor or something cute like a ducky. Or maybe Viktor and a ducky. When she reached the outcropping of rocks her day was completely made. There was Viktor! And he was talking to an adorable duck! "Viktor!" she called out, waving frantically and jumping around for a moment before running toward him.

Viktor turned to see who was running to him, and greamed when he realized it was his bubbly friend, Bea, who is just always happy and that makes Viktor happy. "Bea! Hey. How have you been?" he asks with a grin because he hasn't seen Bea in a few days now.

Bea grinned and actually tacklehugged him. "Hi!" she chirped enthusiastically. "Who's your friend?" she asked, tipping her head towards the most adorable duck she'd seen in a long while sitting in the water over there.

Viktor laughed and hugged Bea back, glad to be big and strong because falling into the lake is not on his list of things to do today. "Oh, this is Kiora. I...Don't have an owl like everyvon here does. I have a duck instead."

Bea's eyes widened. "Seriously?" she asked and looked from the duck to his face then back to the duck. "That is so wicked!" she exclaimed. "What's his name- or is it a her? Can I pet her? Is she nice?" she spewed questions at a mile a minute.

"It's a girl. And her name's Kiora," he says with a smile. "You can pet her. She's really friendly. Friendlier than most other ducks." Viktor's never met an unfriendly duck because ducks just seem to like him, but apparently there are people out there who do not get along with ducks at all.

It's a good thing that Bea gets along with ducks then. "Aww. She's so cute," she cooed and knelt down on the rocks to pet Kiora. "Hi there," she said to the duck as she stroked her soft, shiny feathers. Bea turned to look over her shoulder at Viktor and beamed, "She's really pretty."

Viktor smiles like a proud parent because he obviously doesn't have any kids, but he treats Kiora as if she's part of his family which she sort of is if you think about it. Even if she is a duck. "Thanks, I think so too. I couldn't ask for a better pet. And she's sweet too, unlike a lot of owls I've seen up in the owlery."

Bea laughs and nods. "Definitely. She's very well behaved. Some of those owls make a racket like you wouldn't believe. I hear them at night," she said. We'll just pretend that the Puff common room is near the owlery. Mhm. "Where'd you get her?" she asked curiously as she stood up.

"I found her ven she vos just a duckling. Her mom vosn't anyvare to be found, so I don't know vot happened to her," he said with a slight frown. "But she followed me around, and I sort of became her adoptive parent. I've had her ever since."

"That's so sweet," she said, making an "awwww" face. "Where is she usually? I've never seen her around. She couldn't stay in the lake- y'know with the squid and all. And I've never seen her in the owlery," she wondered.

"She's usually in the owlery, but she just delivered a letter to my friend in Bulgaria, so she's been gone for a few days. And I think she likes to fly around the lake area a bit. She doesn't really like being inside much," he explained as he lightly stroked Kiora's head.

Bea grinned. "Well then. We have something in common! I hate being cooped up in that stuff castle," she said and made an "ick" face. "Ironic since that's where I've spent most of my time this last week. I missed not talking to you," she pouted.

Viktor smiled. "I miss you too. You're really fun to talk to, Bea. So, vot have you been up to these past few days if you've been stuck inside the castle this whole time?" he asked curiously.

Bea made a face and shrugged her shoulders. "Actually, I don't even know. Some homework here, some sleeping there. Really it's been a bit of a blur. I wasn't even that talkative- I must have had a bit of a bug," she said, almost sounding like she was just thinking aloud. "But I'm all better now!" she beamed, back to her regular chipper self.

"Ah, vell I'm glad you're better now. It hasn't been the same vithout you around," he said with a grin because Bea is just a little ray of sunshine. "You're alvays fun to hang out vith and talk to."

"Aww. So sweet," she mumbled into her shoulder, trying to hide her reddening cheeks. "You're pretty fun to talk with too," she said, grinning semi-shyly. Only semi though 'cause she's Bea and even being semi-shy is weird for her.

Viktor grinned because some people don't like talking to him, which makes him sad. People like Snape. Though, if he's honest with himself, he actually feels terrible for how he treated Snape this morning, despite the way the greasy git was behaving. Anyway, he notices Bea blushing but thinks nothing of it except that she looks adorable. "So, vould you like to feed Kiora?" he asks as he hands Bea a cracker to feed his duck.

"Sure!" Bea piped, back to her usually outgoing self and probably not even remembering that she felt shy since her attention span is kinda short. She plucked the cracker out of Viktor's hand and bent down to feed it to the duck. "Here Kiora," she said sweetly, holding the cracker out between her thumb and finger. "Am I doing it right?" she asked Viktor. Or are you supposed to feed ducks like horses?

Well, I've never fed a duck but I think Bea is doing it right. Yep. Viktor smiles and nods excitedly. "Yes, that's perfect!" He grins as Kiora gently takes the cracker from Bea's hand and munches on it happily, quacking what could be interpreted as a 'thank you' when she finishes her snack. "I think she really likes you!"

Bea greamed [-just lost her greaming virginity-] at Kiora then over her shoulder at Viktor. "I'm so glad!" she exclaimed. "So does she still follow you around sometimes?" she asked, stroking the duck's head with her finger.
